Reka:Bar

Reka Bar is on another level. The drinks were absolutely incredible.! Creative, complex, and full of unexpected flavors that somehow just work. You can tell there’s a real concept and passion behind everything they do. The space is sleek but relaxed, and the team? So warm and welcoming. They make you feel like you’re part of something special. Easily one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in KL.

If I could give this spot 6 stars for service I would. The staff were attentive and friendly, right from the get go they served us a complimentary shot to start the night and explained the menu with so much finesse and kept things interesting. During the service, they constantly topped up water, even came over the offer to change our table lamp thinking it was too dark, their female toilet even had menstruation pads and as we had ordered quite a few rounds of drinks they eventually offered as a round of food and a cleansing drink to end the night. One of the best night out!

Had our Valentine’s at Reka:Bar—honestly, for the price, no complaints (find out next year lah). Starters were great, solid burg, decent dessert. Only the pesto spaghetti was slightly underwhelming, though the mushrooms were good. Drinks lineup: Pet Nat – 9/10 Cloud & Clear – 6/10 Watermelon Sugar High – 7/10 The only area we felt could be improved was the overall service. It would have been much better with a more experienced server, as the introduction and service felt somewhat simplified compared to the experience given to the Caucasian guests beside us. Additionally, the setup wasn’t the most ideal for a full dining experience – understandable given the speakeasy concept – but it did require extra caution to avoid accidentally breaking the glasses. One surprise, though: there was a 1.5-hour time limit, which wasn’t mentioned at all on WhatsApp or their website. If this is a strict policy, better to inform guests upfront. Final verdict: 3.5/5

Very interesting drinks concept and nice food. Their drinks are so creative, it will give u a nice surprise. Is right the stairs between 2 levels. If you have the tolerance, try all 12 drinks on the menu. It goes in 1 full circle.

First visit here during KL Cocktail Week. Good vibe and the staff makes me feel welcomed. Good food and the guest bartenders produced some pretty good cocktails. A good first impression.

Love how the waitress and waiters diligently explain the menu/concept and listen to our preferences… nice hangout with friends 🙌🏻 Perhaps the welcome drink was the best for me? Also enjoyed the Dusun 2.0 yogurt-jackfruit-tomato foam, tasted somewhat like durian? Others were okay for us ^^

Incredible experience! Amazing concepts based on base taste flavors with fun combinations of classics with experimental ingredients. Special shoutout to Ram who was gracious enough to give us a rundown of the development process at Reka.

Amazing cocktail bar with sublimed drinks, perfectly crafted with comfy ambience and great service. They have a "domino affect" concept where every drink menu creates a affect to the other drinks, I believe they have great food too but I didn't had chance to try We will definitely go back to visit again and try more drinks and food.
