"Andreas Krolik has been synonymous with fantastic vegan cuisine for years. Here in the Palmenhaus, adjacent to the Palmengarten, the chef creatively combines top-notch ingredients by virtue of extremely precise craftsmanship. His style is modern, yet rooted in classic culinary tradition. For example, the happy marriage of John Dory and Norwegian scallops, with a nutty macadamia crunch, sweet and sour pointed cabbage, firm pumpkin and the exotic touch of a curry-lemongrass sauce, is delicious. In the evening, two set menus are served: "Grands Produits" with meat and fish, and "Ethical Vegan Cuisine" a testament to the chef's passion for plant-based cuisine. At lunchtime, there are two appealing set menus, dubbed "Casual" and "Casual Green", each with three or four courses. Service comes courtesy of a very friendly and well-trained front-of-house team led by restaurant manager Boris Häbel, and the decor is stylish and modern. The wine pairings for the set menus are first-rate. Incidentally, the restaurant's name is a nod to the famous Château Lafleur vineyard near Bordeaux." - Michelin Inspector

To conclude the evening, my coat was returned by being tossed across the reception counter—something I have never experienced at any two-Michelin-starred restaurant. While the food itself was satisfactory, the overall experience was undermined by a level of service that fell well short of what one expects from a two-star establishment. Interactions with the staff felt curt and perfunctory, with minimal explanation offered during the presentation of the dishes, and the table was not even brushed for crumbs after the main course. One can only speculate that this may have been due to the regular team being away for the Christmas period and the service being handled by temporary staff, but regardless, the lapse was unmistakable and disappointing.

Dining at Lafleur in Frankfurt is nothing short of extraordinary. This two Michelin star restaurant is absolutely worth the detour — in fact, it’s worth planning an entire trip around. From the moment you step inside, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome with impeccable professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. The food itself is on another level — every dish is a masterpiece, both visually and in flavor. Each course tells a story, blending creativity, precision, and the highest quality ingredients. The balance of textures, the depth of flavors, and the flawless presentation left me truly speechless. It’s the kind of dining experience that stays with you long after the last bite. Lafleur is not just a meal — it’s an experience of art, passion, and hospitality at its finest. Absolutely unforgettable. We got the 7 course meal with the wine pairing. It was impeccable. You will NOT leave hungry.

I had a wonderful dining experience here. I had the “Grand Produits” tasting menu which lasted a little over three hours. I didn’t get the wine pairing but I had the rosé with my amuse bouche and finger food followed by a glass of white and red. From the greeting at the door, the service was friendly and attentive but never smothering. There was a good pace to the meal which helps because the full menu is a lot of food! Each of my dishes was well executed and interesting. The prawn ice cream was a pleasant surprise. The poached quail egg in deer broth was another delightful surprise. The coffee at the end was easily the best I have ever had. The only dish that didn’t quite “land” for me was the cake served with my coffee. The pistachio cream and mango powder make for an interesting combo theoretically. The levity of the mango powder with the density of the pistachio cream should balance well, but I found the powder to be too light (easy to choke on), and a fair bit more tart than what I thought might balance out the pistachio. That said, I prefer some experimentation at this level, and I don’t expect everything bite to be comfortable and unsurprising. I don’t mean to negate other reviewers’ experiences, but I will add my own for contrast. As a young, single, black man dressed very casually, I was given nothing short of star treatment. For the price, yes, it is expensive— but I found it to be worth it.

An amazing and memorable evening dining at Restaurant Lafleur. Located in the Palmengarten, which is the perfect setting for a restaurant of this calibre. From the moment we arrived all through our magnificent meal, until it was sadly time to depart, Sharon and her colleagues took exceptional care of us the entire time. No detail is missed. It is first class all the way through. Impeccable service. Delightful pairings. However the real star is the food. Many thanks to everyone for making our evening dining at Restaurant Lafleur such a memorable one. DANKE!

Frankfurt a.M., second star stop. The „Lafleur“ earned it‘s two Michelin stars for it’s carefully crafted vegan menu. I have to admit, I didn‘t go vegan. But there was no need to feel sorry for this. For me it was the second time after Field (⭐️) in Prague that I found a restaurant so deeply dedicated into the freshness and flavour of plants. The cauliflower, the cucumber together with a lot of others plant based ingredients were lifted into new dimensions of flavour and taste. Wow. To have a fish or meat dish with vegetables not only being a complementary, but a full valid partner on the plate ,playing on the same level, was more than exciting. 2 nights, 3 stars, and unlimited enjoyment. Thank you Lafleur for making my stay in Frankfurt even more wonderful.

Absolutely incredible experience. Went there solo while in Frankfurt for work. The staff were accommodating and Boris was a delight the entire evening. I really enjoyed his background knowledge of what inspired the meal and his expertise in every ingredient used in each course. They sat me at the end of a large table with a party of 4 at the other end - not a criticism, just something to know if you decide to dine there solo. I was offered a choice of white or rose champagne after being seated. The food is unique, perfectly portioned, and curated beautifully. I recommend getting the wine accompaniment with your courses, it really enhanced the meal. Thank you Lafleur for making my Frankfurt dining experience one to remember.

Food was incredible, the service couldn't have been more professional and the overall setting is chic and beautiful. I had the vegan compact menu and every meal was perfection. I especially liked the main course with the potatoes and the tarte tatin revisitée, it was absolutely delicious. My guest had the non vegan compact menu with the salmon, the beef and the chocolate soufflé and said the same. Perfection every time. We had a lovely time, thank you! I definitely recommand going to this restaurant!

Definitely worth a visit. - one big turn off for me was that the whole meal was more than 3.5 hours. This is too much, and not optimal appetite-wise. Got very boring just to wait for the food. I would recommend informing them that you want speedy service, which can overall make your experience better. - they offered us champagne on entry. From the situation I felt that it was complimentary, but actually they charged it in the cheque. Something to keep in mind. - overall the folks there were very helpful, but I felt that one server was a little unwelcoming, and made me wonder whether it was because of our race, since there was no other conceivable reason to warrant the cold attitude. However it's a very good chance that it's just the personality, and so while I'm not making accusations, it definitely dampened our experience. We spent >1000 euro for a 3 person dinner.
