Little did I know that Relais La Corte Dei Papi would always have a special little place in my heart 💕💍The views were breathtaking and the breakfast was phenomenal as was our private hotel room dinner served by David himself. Our room had such an elegant charm, it truly felt like I was living in a fairytale. You can tell David and his family have worked hard to make this place so beautiful it is truly magical. He goes above and beyond to make you feel so welcome…forever grateful to have met him and stay at his lovely home 🙏 Thank you for the wonderful memories we will be back!

If you’re looking for the best place to stay in Tuscany then you MUST go to La Corte. This is a gorgeous and historic estate turned resort/spa/hotel. David and the rest of the staff treated us with the highest level of hospitality. I cannot recommend enough!!!

What a beautiful property. David and his team were wonderful and very hands on. Our suite was magnificent and it had everything we needed and much more. We had a delicious gourmet dinner our first night that was out of this world. They even sent a bottle of champagne up to our room for my husband’s birthday. They arranged a great winery tour that was perfect from start to finish . I can’t wait to come back to this amazing Tuscan experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Corte Dei Papi. The staff upgraded our room free of charge when we arrived and were always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. The owner served us during dinner and informed us about their top notch wines that they produce themselves. The food and wine were delicious and fairly priced in their cozy and atmospheric restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re planning a trip to Tuscany!

What a fantastic vacation my husband and I had at this beautiful property. They had everything and more that we could have hoped for. From their spacious beautiful suites to their gourmet dinners. David and his team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even arranged for us a winery tour with a driver that took us all over Tuscany. I’m looking forward to coming back to this upscale Tuscany experience.

So beautiful and the staff was amazing. The restaurant had the best food we had in Italy, everything was delicious. Don’t forget to try their wine, it’s wonderful! Loved the Cortona area, and had a wonderful stay. Definitely planning to go back!

My wife and I stayed at Relais La Corte Dei Papi while vacationing in Italy for a few nights. I could not speak highly enough for how incredible of a stay this was. Would highly recommend anyone staying near Cortona - and will go as far as to say we will go out of our way next time in Italy to ensure we come back for at least 2-3 nights. You are greeted upon arrival with beautiful, lush grounds that sets the luxurious tone for the rest of your stay. The staff was very nice, gave us a personal touch, and skilled in ensuring a no-friction stay for deep relaxation. Our room was perfect, I would recommend upgrading to one of the rooms that include a jacuzzi as a must-have! Our dinner exceeded expectations in every regard. We are still talking about the food (especially Ossobuco), our wine pairing was perfect, and the service was executed better than places my wife and I have been at significantly above this price point. Great job, we will be ordering your wine and I cannot wait to return!

Best meal we had in Tuscany by far! Not only is the food delicious but so is the wine. Be ready for 5 courses that will increasingly blow your mind. If you're looking for a little spot off the beaten path in Tuscany, this is your spot. David is amazing! He has created a work of art with his hotel/restaurant/spa.

We went to dinner at La Corte dei Papi. Each dish was exquisitely executed and the service was impeccable. The taste of each was delicious. The have their own white and red wine, we had the White with our dinner and when cheeses arrived we had a glass of their red wine. A total positive experience. As a treat to the two of us, the owner David Papi was present, it simply made the entire experience a joy. Many photos to share but Yelp is having problems uploading the images.

The room, the service, the attention to every detail, the restaurant and the property. I can say nothing but assolutamente fantastico! David was a dream to work with and the rest of the staff is quick to follow his lead. There is no question that the moment you step onto the property you feel like you have been invited into this family home. The environment is so professional and a step above what we expected. The restaurant will make you want to use your manners, but the food made me want to lick the plate! David, what an amazing place you have created to share with us and we thank you and your family. Your mother has to share how she keeps the roses so perfect!

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The best meal we had in Italy by far! The food was amazing and the service and attention to detail amplified the experience that much more. The rose champagne was also so good we had a case of it shipped back home. We didn't stay at the hotel, but we sat by the pool for lunch and it looked so relaxing.

I can't say enough great things about this incredible place. The owner, David, has transformed his home, that has been in his family for generations, into this amazing relais and restaurant just outside of Cortona. If you're going to stay in this part of Tuscany, this should be number 1 on your list. David treated us like family, and provided us with the highest quality of care and service. The food at the restaurant is incredible, as is the wine list, and the overall atmosphere. We can't wait to go back! As for the accommodations when staying here, our room was beyond our expectations, complete with a massive jacuzzi style bath AND a sauna/shower. The maids came by multiple times per day to ensure that everything was perfect. David also went out of his way before we arrived to help us coordinate day trips during our stay in Tuscany, all of which went very smoothly. Again, I would highly recommend this place to anyone, whether your looking for a great place for dinner, or the perfect place to stay for your vacation in Tuscany.

Dreamy, delicious, perfection. This charming set up is impeccable. Our host, David, has such attention to detail. The grounds are beautiful and I am imagine in warmer weather, the place to be. Our cottage was lovingly restored. Beautiful hand painted designs, vintage furnishings, lovely bedding and pillows, fabulous bath tub with spa treats. The restaurant is fantastic. The service was flawless, the food incredible. The night we stayed it was a full house and the evening ran smoothly and so cozy. Breakfast the next morning was a generous set-up of delights. My husband and I can't wait to return next year. Thank you David and staff for a memorable time.

We had the most amazing stay. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a wonderful romantic getaway. The staff was fantastic and accommodating, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the location was great. We are going to make a tradition out of coming here. Amazing!!!!!

My daughter and I shared a wonderful escape to Tuscany last month. Not only did we leave husbands at home, we left our stresses on the doorstep at La Corte dei Papi. The next four days were spent savoring every moment in relaxation and enjoyment. Even though we longed to explore the Tuscany hillsides, David's little piece of heaven gave us no reason to leave. Our dinner last night was the best we had during our 14 night stay in Italy. David, the owner, ensured that our service was outstanding from start to finish. The food from pasta to beef to the fish was excellent. The atmosphere is perfect, we were able to sit outside and enjoy a quite, beautiful evening. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone we know.
