We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The location is great. We visited Rome during the day and returned to our rooms to shower. The location is full of great restaurants, shops, places to sit and people watch. The breakfast was enjoyable and even the pickiest eater in our family was sated. The courtyard was a treat and even prettier than the photos. The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms vary in size and some family members felt some rooms were too small for all the luggage they had for their upcoming cruise.

We booked here last minute after an air bnb ghosted us, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because this place was fantastic! We arrived a bit stressed and dishevelled and the guy manning the front desk could not have been kinder to us. The hotel itself is clean, tidy and perfectly appointed with a nice garden between the reception and the rooms. The location is in the heart of Trastevere and also excellent for exploring the sights of Rome. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

This hotel is in an Historic building in a Great location with friendly helpful staff. ||We stayed in a courtyard suite, Rosa. It was spacious and oddly laid out ( historic building) accessed from the courtyard but there was no view into the courtyard. The room had a desk space and a couch/bed in a nook. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and everything worked. The breakfast wasn’t great. There was choice but the quality was poor. The juice was out of a machine but the coffee was fine . ||Access to the hotel and your room after 8pm is via an app. An increasing trend that makes me nervous in case it doesn’t work and means you have to bring your phone everywhere with you. ||The hotel is in a good location and is a peaceful oasis out of the busy Roman streets. Trams stop close there is a taxi rank across the road| the

Overall good experience here. Really nice garden courtyard with excellent breakfast. Room was good not great. Staff was nice. Not overly helpful but solid. Really great location close to tram and bus stops. Close to great food and cafe’s. Fun area to stay. The keyless entry to the hotel was a real problem. Their app didn’t work half the time and we had to call the emergency number to get back in our room. The staff leaves at 8 pm so if you are out later than that it’s up to you to figure out the keyless entry. They give you a code but it never worked.

This was a fantastic hotel. The concierge gentleman with the black framed glasses was fantastic. I received a super early check-in, a beautiful room with a private terrace, bottle of sparkling etc. He was knowledgeable and super helpful with the area. Beautiful hotel, great staff, amazing room, perfect in every way. Every detail.

Stayed for 4 nights in a lovely room but facing front of hotel. Opposite is a music club that opens on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the noise levels are extreme. It's not the music but the people partying out on the street. Even with doors and windows closed (which I hate to do), and with earplugs, we still didn't sleep until about 4am each night. The hotel doesn't warn you and don't seem to care. It's also near a busy road so it never really gets quiet. ||We were on the 1st floor... there are no stairs so you must use a very small lift that can just about take 2 people. This was frustrating at times. ||Also access to your room and the main hotel door (after 8pm) is via an app on your phone... there are no keys. This is ok if you can access their WiFi but took us a long time to get connection and I found the whole process messy. ||Aside from that staff are generally nice and they did recognise our anniversary with a cake and small bottle of prosecco so that was a nice touch. ||Breakfast is basic but ok and it's in a good location and walking distance from many sites. But for us not worth the cost and we've come home needing to catch up on a lot of sleep. |

Our first night was spent in a room so small and dark it was horrible. We paid over €200 per night! We were told they could give us a different room for our next 2 nights. The gardens and balcony rooms which were advertised were in a different building. The room was booked 9 months in advance. The breakfast was inedible. Luckily we found a bakery down the road. They refunded €30 for 3 breakfasts.€700 for 3 nights! Not good enough. Zero care factor.

Me and my wife stayed in Relais Clarisse for 8 days on a trip that was planned for 10 days.||It is a nice hotel in a very nice neighborhood. It is very well located.|Interior garden area is nice. ||Trestevere neighborhood is our preferred area , and every trip to Rome we stay in this area. ||The room was nice, clean , and comfortable . All people working in the hotel were nice. |The only problem and for us it is was major one, Internet was not working in our room for the entire stay. |After informing the desk on the first day and every days after, it probably works for less than 4 hours for the entire week. ||Apparently the guy in charge was away, somewhere unknown , missing in action, unreachable and, or not interested in helping.|We had phone calls, meeting planned during our stay, emails to send, etc no need to say that we busted our phone Roaming package by a lot. Slow internet at a very high price. |In 2025 , at 300 Euros a night , we expect a good internet connection.|No room exchange was offer. No credit on our stay . Apparently this problem had no solutions.||At what one point , we were allowed to go to the breakfast room after breakfast hours . The lady (this was the only day we saw this lady in the breakfast room) was not really happy to see us there. We were not welcome. She put the music very loud , plates , utensils, banging. Everything she can do to make a maximum of noise. Message was clear , you are not welcome outside breakfast hours. Very rude to say the least.||That morning, we left and we found another place to do our work in the area.|To the exception of this lady in the breakfast room that morning , all other people were very nice but nothing they can do. They needed THE unknown expert.||If you don’t need internet in your room, I will recommend this hotel without hesitation. |If you need or expect internet in your room however, avoid this hotel at all cost or make sure the internet guy is back from the moon and he wants to help.

Yelp
Charming hotel in a great, central location in Trastevere. We booked a suite with a garden view which was located on the first floor. The hotel has a small but nice garden in the center portion of the building with lots of chairs and tables where you can sit and relax, have coffee or breakfast, etc. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had a shower and a jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable enough and they provided plenty of pillows. The pressure in the shower wasn't the greatest and the toiletries were minimal, I wish they provided hair conditioner and body lotion. Also no robes or slippers were provided which is unusual especially when booking a suite. There's a safe in the room and they provide a complimentary smart phone which you can use while going around the city for data as well as local calls. They don't have blinds on the windows and the curtains don't entirely block out light. The windows in the room aren't sound proof and since they're facing the garden, we could hear the noise and chatter of people congregating in the garden late at night. The breakfast was small but adequate providing eggs, ham, cheese, breads and some pastries, fruits, yogurt and cereals. The best part though was the coffee machine which made the best, really strong cappuccino with a nice thick creamy foam. This machine made much better espresso coffee drinks than did some attendants at other hotels. They also offered trays in case you want to take your breakfast to the room. There was a tram stop less than a block away from the hotel, as well as a taxi stand just across the main road. The hotel does arrange transportation if needed (a private car to the FCO airport is 50 euro, a taxi is a flat fee of 48 euro). The entire staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Yelp
This is a decent, clean hotel with a wonderful staff. OK breakfast, not memorable but Italians always know how to make a great coffee. Bathrooms small, sheets clean, comforters from another century. Good location. Good price.
