We are extremely disappointed. Our wedding was planned for June 2026, a three-day celebration that ultimately proved “too complex” for them. We first visited the venue in April 2025 and confirmed our booking in May, excited to move forward.
Because of ongoing delays in finalizing our wedding contract, and despite having agreed on many details, repeated errors kept occurring. In early August, we had another call to review everything. We then decided to visit the venue again in September at our own expense while on a trip, planning to sign the contract on our way back. However, just one day before our return, they informed us that they could not meet the agreed terms, without offering any alternatives whatsoever.
It feels as though we were strung along. If they had been transparent earlier about management problems and their inability to honor commitments, we could have chosen another venue. They admitted their mistakes, but offered no compensation, only apologies, leaving us to bear all the consequences.
It is now two months since our last contact, during which we had hoped they might reach out, but they never did. This complete lack of follow-up demonstrates their total disinterest in our situation, despite the fact that our invitations and wedding website were already prepared.
This process has caused significant emotional stress, wasted time, and financial loss. For Villa Corallo, it seems the focus is solely on mismanagement and money, rather than on the couples who entrust them with one of the most important events of their lives. We strongly advise future couples to avoid this venue entirely, we certainly will.
