The bartender saw my Mexican ID and, after that, told me he couldn’t sell me any drink except a draft beer. I asked for a closed can instead, but he repeated that with my ID he could only serve me the beer he had already poured. At that point, I realized I was being discriminated against. I told him that if he didn’t give me the beer I wanted, I wouldn’t buy anything. He responded that I should drink the beer he gave me and pay for it.
In the end, I was forced to pay for a beer I never ordered. That beer made me feel extremely drunk in less than 20 minutes, which is very unusual, and it seemed adulterated. Six hours later, my stomach pain was so severe that I had to go to the ER. The doctors confirmed the drink was indeed adulterated.
This was an awful and unsafe experience, and I strongly recommend avoiding this bar.
