"You might recognize this bar as that place next to Rock Box, the rowdy karaoke spot where you can openly laugh at the people butchering “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) in the front window.” While its neighbor is a glorified fraternity party, Cure is a calm cocktail spot with maybe only a dozen seats inside, and it’s a cozy spot to start or end a night out. Drinks range from classic palomas and gin rickeys to mint martinis and flutes of rose with cotton candy on top. Also, a big charcuterie board is a must. photo credit: Nate Watters" - Aimee Rizzo

I'll start off by saying, I came during happy hour, and left with a new goto spot for happy hour. If the rest of the food is anything like the happy hour food, this place will be around for a very long time. The people working there are pretty cool. Great conversation. Their bartender claims to be a mixologist. I ordered an old fashion or something like that which is pretty bare bones, but he added a few personal touches. I was solo on this trip and sat alone at the bar. So great servers helped with the 5 star experience. I feel like I'm forgetting something. Oh, my food. Probably one if the best burgers I've ever had. Slight bit of pink on the inside. Chicharron styled fried chicken skin. Pickles. Plantain ketchup. I lost my mind mid meal. Ha.

Did the "Dining in the dark" event here. Atmosphere was cute and experience was cool, but the food was a solid OK. Cocktails were perfect, Joe did a great job there. I'd suggest the poke-style dish and the sweet potato creme brulee. The seafood had a lot of fish sauce, some of the shrimp were dry n chewy(but they had to peel them 1st since we were blindfolded, so the chef probably wasn't used to the new cooking method) and my meat was a bit dry and chewy. If you want traditional Philippino /guamanian/island food this is def the spot though, you're probably used to these flavors.

Came here for a cocktail class which included drinks and dinner (options included burgers and tacos). We huddled around the bar while Joe worked his magic and showed us how he makes his tasty, strong drinks!! My favorite was the Reaper’s Blush. Definitely plan on going back and trying out some other drinks… hoping to learn more cocktail tips and tricks!

Seated almost immediately, recommend getting a table in the back. There’s a little stairway leading to a slightly lower level, the place is well-decorated with a nice balance of modern + natural plants/lighting. Peach Bellini was sweet and refreshing and came fast, very reasonable price ($10). Food is slightly pricey and takes just a bit longer but well worth the wait! My friend and I ordered the Sirloin Steak Skewers and the Sizzling Pork Belly Sisig Plate. Food presentation was lovely and very appetizing, the sizzling of the hot grill-plate was enticing. Meat was juicy, the pineapple sweet, and the fried rice was flavorful. We split the two orders and both of us got a good amount to eat! All in all a great exercise and would recommend and bring more friends in the future, thanks for the service! :)

We came here for the immersive Alice in Wonderland experience. The actors were fun but the drinks were just so bad. I could even drink two of them. For that money i was very surprised that the drinks were not at least good. I’m glad I went but I don’t think I’d recommend. Better ways to spend the monies.

TLDR: Amazing cocktails and charcuterie boards. Cozy romantic ambience. Horrible service. I’ll start with the pros: - This hole-in-the-Wall bar in Capitol Hill is family owned and has a wonderful charm of its own. - With string lights across the bar and candles on every table, this makes for a perfect romantic date spot. - Cocktails here are impeccable. Don’t go by the menu, the menu doesn’t list a lot of drinks whose pictures I found on yelp or google. You can just tell the bartender what you feel like having and he will whip something up! I had the “what’s up doc” (which is not listed on the current menu), this drink is inspired by Bugs bunny and has carrot juice among other ingredients! A very unique concoction. I also asked the bartender for a drink with chocolate and egg white, he whipped up a splendid drink that I thoroughly enjoyed. - With a yelp checkin you get a free cheese and crostini board which was amazing! Now for the biggest con: - Service is terrible. They just have 2 people working here who juggle between bartending, cooking and waiting on tables. - It took a while for them to take our order, even longer to bring us food and drinks and even longer to get the bill. This was extremely frustrating as a customer. they should really contemplate scaling up. If I wasn’t so much in love with the cocktails, I would’ve given this place 3 stars.

It's a unique take on hawaiian/asian cuisine. I like the layout right now for covid-19 for outdoor seating. the servers are really nice. Food wise it was a 50/50. We liked one dish over the other and the price is on the higher side. We got the banh khot --- and it wasn't even banh khot, it was like a very small version of a banh xeo and for 2 bites, it will cost you $9. It was also super greasy as well. the chicken skewers though was really good. It was tender and juicy, and it came it rice, mac salad and potato salad, it also came with a pineapple :)

As a Filipino, I love and appreciate Remedium ❤️ Especially for their pork sisig! It’s hard to find sisig that tastes authentically Filipino, so when I do, I come back for it. I’ve come back for Remedium’s sisig a few times (and counting). It’s fatty, it’s crispy, it’s got a bit of acidity from the lime, it’s got the egg! Delicious.
