"Have you ever wanted to answer emails in the middle of a rich person’s greenhouse? Hanging out at Remi43, which has two locations in Midtown, feels like that. It’s so lush and luxurious, your coworkers will probably ask where you are when you sign on for that quick daily meeting." - sonal shah, molly fitzpatrick, will hartman, neha talreja, bryan kim, willa moore

The 14 Best Coffee Shops In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"Remi isn’t the only combination plant shop and cafe in NYC, but it is the only one where you can order a fancy latte and have them make you a matching mini floral arrangement. Naturally, the best drinks at this Midtown spot are floral varieties like rose and lavender, which accent the flavor of the espresso rather than make it taste like someone sprayed perfume in your drink. It’s more low-key than you’d expect for somewhere so photogenic, so feel free to bring your laptop. If you can’t do the digital nomad thing, this is the next best place to take zoom meetings (and make your coworkers jealous). They have another location four blocks up on 48th." - neha talreja, willa moore, will hartman

This was, without a doubt, the most stunning coffee I've ever experienced, and it carried a delightful lavender aroma. It felt almost too beautiful to drink, like a work of art. The cafe's atmosphere was incredibly warm and friendly, bustling with local families and their pets, all enjoying casual conversation. It's truly a unique and charming place for a morning coffee. The only slight drawback was the service. While not rude, the person who served me was unfortunately cold and indifferent, lacking any warmth or smile. Despite that, the extraordinary beauty of the coffee itself made the visit entirely worthwhile.

Google
We really wanted to experience something completely different in New York and we found Remi Flower and Coffee. I was completely blown away by this little Flower and Coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and they have a few unique options. I tried their Rose Latte which was so good. If you truly love coffee and want a different experience- you must try Remi’s

Google
I ordered a Mother’s Day bouquet here after having a great experience with their Christmas flowers. When the price feels a bit high, I just let them know my budget and they always create something beautiful within it. I’m always happy with what I receive-thank you for the consistently lovely arrangements!

Google
This spot is unique—a little café combined with a flower shop, and it smells amazing. The ambiance is cozy and charming, the service is friendly, and seating inside is limited. They offer a variety of interesting and beautifully presented drinks. I tried the lavender latte and wasn’t disappointed. I also had a croissant—it was alright, nothing special. Overall, I really liked the concept and enjoyed spending time there.

Google
The setting is lovely—surrounded by plants and flowers, it’s a really calming spot to sit and take a break. Tried the berry matcha latte, which looked great, but the flavour didn’t quite live up to the presentation. It felt a bit more style than substance, especially given the premium price.

Google
This is one of my favorite coffee places! It's a beautiful hidden gem on the Upper East Side. It’s actually a flower shop that has a small coffee spot. The space is small, but it’s cute if you can get a table. They serve the best rose and lavender lattes, and their decorations are lovely! The drinks are tasty and create a beautiful vibe!

I was walking around the area today and stopped in for a coffee. I got a decaf Americano and it was excellent. The place was crowded when I arrived around 1115 am, so I first had to share a table inside before I got my own table outside. A very nice place to hang out for a while.

Google
So glad we kept walking past Starbucks and especially Dunkin to find a unique coffee shop instead. We love this place. What a great atmosphere and vibe. The service is great with a good number of tables inside and outside, and of course great espresso drinks.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem! It's a small café that's also a flower shop, so the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the sweet, calming scent of fresh blooms. It's not your average coffee spot--it has this really warm and charming vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The inside seating is a bit limited, but I didn't mind because it felt cozy, almost like visiting a friend's place. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. They have a really creative menu when it comes to drinks--lots of unique choices. I tried the lavender latte, and honestly, it was so good! Light, fragrant, and not too sweet. You can tell they put thought into how everything is served too--it looked beautiful. I also got a croissant to go with my coffee. It was fine, nothing to rave about, but still a nice snack to enjoy with the drink. Overall, I really loved the whole concept of the café. It's not just a place to grab a coffee--it's a place where you can slow down, breathe in some floral goodness, and enjoy a peaceful little moment in your day. I'll definitely come back to try more from the menu.

Yelp
VERY CUTE with Specialty coffee options! Dropped by Sunday morning after landing. Found this coffee shop nearby and was immediately drawn to it. The amount of greenery at the window is very refreshing to see in contrast to the urban sprawl that is NYC. What we got: - Hojicha Latte ~ very milky and creamy. - Toasted Marshmallow mocha latte ~ was very sweet. The toasted marshmallow added a crispy texture and coziness to the mocha. All in all, a great place to drop by for coffee or to sit and chat. There is a strict no-laptop policy inside, so be mindful of that. In addition to coffee, this coffee shop offers plants and dried/preserved flowers for sale. Highly recommend and would return to try other flavors!

Yelp
This is one of my FAVORITE coffee places!! Beautiful hidden gem on the upper east, it's actually a flower shop, that has a little coffee spot as well. It's small, but cute if you can get a table. They serve the BEST rose and lavender lattes, and they do the prettiest decorations ever! So tasty and beautiful vibe!!

Yelp
I had a day to do some fun things in NYC, and enjoying a beautiful latte from Remi Flower & Coffee was definitely on my list after coming across them on Yelp. This small flower shop and coffee bar seems unassuming but it packs a big punch in terms of remarkability and delicious coffee. Every seat inside was taken when I arrived on an early Saturday afternoon, but I was able to snag a seat outside at a sidewalk table -- great for people watching on this beautiful day. I went with the rose latte, which was as eye catching as their floral arrangements. It was warm and sweet, a great post-lunch pick-me-up. I also got a twist pastry, which was served warm and fresh. Despite the crowd, my drink and pastry were served within five minutes. Stopping here gave me a few minutes to enjoy these treats, catch up on my book, and just be in the moment during a fun-filled day in the city.

Yelp
Such a cute and unique spot--part café, part flower shop. The whole place smells lovely the moment you walk in. It's small and cozy with limited seating, but the atmosphere is really inviting. They have a creative drink menu with beautiful presentations. I went for the lavender latte and really enjoyed it. I also grabbed a croissant, which was decent, though not the highlight. Service was good and friendly. I really liked the concept and enjoyed spending time there.

Yelp
I had a berry rose latte here and it was a great start to my morning. Fragrantly floral. Slightly sweet. Adorably pink. As someone who loves flowers and floral drinks, Remi Flower & Coffee is exactly my cup of tea, er, latte.

Lemus N.

Yelp
Skip if you like matcha. I stopped by Remi Coffee and ordered an iced matcha latte. The drink wasn't filled to the top and tasted mostly like milk, with barely any matcha flavor. At $7.50, I expected better quality. The cashier didn't acknowledge me when I went to order. There was no greeting, and she just gave off the vibe that she didn't want to be there. Normally I wouldn't take off points for minimal service, but it's something I noticed. Because of that, I didn't even bother asking why the drink wasn't full. The atmosphere is nice since the cafe shares a space with a flower shop, but I wouldn't recommend it for drinks.

Ryan L.

Yelp
Good coffee and better decor. Walk through the flower shop doors if you want to be greeted by a great smell. Chill vibes and music, would be a great coffee date spot
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
A nice place to sit and enjoy a speciality latte or hot drink. Their rose and lavender lattes look like works of art. You can also get a grab-and-go drink or buy plants and flower arrangements. The many plants and flowers around you make this a pretty place to sit down and enjoy. A lot more than an average coffee shop!
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Great cafe and awesome service- great quality and they really take their time. but feels a little overpriced

Yelp
Ordered: Lavender Latte (~$6) Aya's take: A shop with beautiful flowers, gorgeous plants, and speciality coffee? Run, don't walk! I've had Remi on my radar for a while now and did I stop in at 5pm to get a coffee? Yes I did. The Lavender Latte was so aesthetically pleasing, but the taste was even better! I loved the floral essence from the lavender paired with the boldness and slight bitterness from the espresso. They also managed to make this just the right amount of creamy. It's a bit cramped inside so I don't suggest coming here to get work done or to have a deep conversation with someone lol. If you're looking for a casual, good vibe, and relaxing environment, I highly recommend checking out Remi!

Yelp
Super cute cafe. It's tiny, but it has a big heart. And they still do latte art! Flowers and plants are available for purchase too. Love this place :)

Yelp
SUCH A CUTE COFFEE SHOP! The workers are also so kind and it's the perfect place to do work or catch up with a friend. Apart from the long table, all other tables were a "laptop free" zone so keep that in mind in case you want to come here to do work. My friend ordered the Lavender Latte which we both thought was delicious! It had stronger notes of the lavender which I personally love when it comes to my lattes. I had asked the worker if there were any other flavored matcha and he let me know they had the Berry Matcha, Lavender Matcha, and the Cocoa Matcha. Recommended the Berry and Cocoa so I went with the Berry! I loved the berry at the bottom it tasted fresh and the right amount of sweetness! However once mixed my drink tasted more berry than matcha, definitely wished the matcha was a lot stronger. We also got the ham and cheese croissant which was delicious! Would go back for coffee, but maybe not the matcha.

Yelp
What a beautiful cafe! Immaculate floral and cafe vibe, beautiful latte art and some really tasty coffee... this cafe has a special place in my heart :) As soon as you enter, you will see a stunning array of flowers adorn the entire cafe. There is some communal style seating as well as few tables. It was quite busy, as expected but the service was fairly fast. Whilst I was still appreciating the interiors, I was even more in awe once I got my latte order with some of the most pretty latte art I have ever seen! My friends and I had ordered rose and lavender latte, along with savory scone and almond croissant. Both the drinks were really tasty, I enjoyed rose latte slightly more.. the subtle floral taste in the coffee was just exquisite. But the lavender latte was great, as well! All in all, a solid 5/5 for this!
google avatar

Jake Y.

Yelp
What a cool little place! Excellent coffee and a unique place to enjoy it. It feels like a greenhouse, a bit warm and enveloped in a floral scent. You either love that or need to get out. I needed to get out, but I thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino on thier much cooler "patio" next to the guys chatting away in Russian. This could be the ultimate date spot for that special someone.
google avatar

Neha P.

Yelp
A bit hit or miss. I tried the strawberry matcha from here which was good. Also tried the tiramisu latte which I definitely should've asked for less sweet because it was just way too sweet I couldn't even finish it
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
This cafe is so charming and beautiful. I found it on maps when I booked my hotel in the neighborhood. I'm so glad I went because the coffee and baked goods are delicious. I will definitely be back during my stay here! I had a latte with 2% milk, a savory cheddar scallion scone, and a pistachio twist. I normally wouldn't order so much but wanted to try both sweet and savory items. The latte was amazing, top notch. The scone was on par with many others I've had. The pistachio twist is amazing - rich and slightly sweet, plenty of pistachios and pistachio paste.

Yelp
Cutest coffee shop ever. Flowers literally everywhere! Their rose latte was pretty but the espresso overpowered the rose flavor. BUT the rose one they make without the espresso was SO GOOD - my friend got that and I wanted to switch drinks with her! They have two locations and this is the smaller one.
google avatar

Kristynella C.

Yelp
Such a cute flower coffee shop. Located a few blocks from Grand Central Station. Place can get really packed so i recommended coming a little early if you want a seat.
google avatar

Nivi R.

Yelp
Sweet little flower and coffee shop! I was in the area for an early morning doctors appointment on a rainy Sunday, came here for a cup of cappuccino. Great coffee!! Funnily enough I had a client for work across the street where I came everyday from 2012-2014. This neighborhood was literally the most boring then, but so glad to see nice things pop up here!
google avatar

Jolie W.

Yelp
Coffee was excellent, setting is so pretty and serene. Loved the atmosphere. I love the concept of flowers and coffee!
google avatar

Kamara S.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a cafe with a cute concept. And being amongst flowers is definitely in that category. There is another cafe named Remi with a flower concept just a couple blocks down but this one is smaller (a colleague warned me if I was meeting someone to be very specific on the address to avoid confusion). It is relatively small with just a couple of tables on the inside and out. There is a ledge next to a window with two seats which is where I sat while I enjoyed my drink. It is definitely a flower shop with plants and flowers along the walls. But it wasn't too overwhelming like if it were made solely for social media attention. It does have the basic coffee menu but also many specials so as a primarily fancy coffee drinker, it is great to have options. I had the cocomo ((hazelnut mocha with macadamia milk) which wasn't too chocolatey but the drink was mixed alright. They did have many flower based drinks like a rose latte and a lavender matcha. They had non coffee options like teas/tea lattes and iced refreshers/juices. They also had wifi. Overall, this is a cute option for the neighborhood and while I might not go back to the area solely for this, I would definitely go back if I am in the vicinity
google avatar

Alisa J.

Yelp
Cute cafe. Loved the decor. Was really busy. We tried the turmeric latte and the matcha latte. The turmeric latte was good. I liked the foam. I wish the latte had black pepper in it. The matcha latte was good and not sweet. Service was really friendly.
google avatar

Rae A.

Yelp
Stopped by to read my book and enjoy a cup of coffee. For a Friday afternoon - it was definitely a little busy but I grabbed a table outside. I ordered the hot hojicha latte and it was nice dipping on my drink as people walked by. I liked the aesthetic of the store and appreciated the joint flower and coffee idea. I don't know if I would recommend for big groups as seating areas felt catered to small groups. Also - I don't remember anything crazy about my drink so future me - maybe try the vanilla latte next time!
google avatar

Aude L.

Yelp
This coffee shop is absolutely gorgeous!! I wish I had taken picture of the inside to capture how many plants are in here. I love how bright and lively the vibe is inside. Almost every surface has a plant (which is available for purchase) and the floor-to-ceiling windows let a ton of light in. They offer a ton of unique flavors like rose and lavender lattes. I went with an unsweetened matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha was smooth and mild and came with some latte art. My only complaint is that Remi gets really packed on some days, so you have to hover until you can snag a table.
google avatar

Aimee H.

Yelp
A perfect little cafe with beautiful flowers throughout the store :) My lavender latte was delicious and so pretty. Would def come back for the aesthetics and pretend to be productive lol
google avatar

Sam E.

Yelp
Inside is very floral, but I think maybe less floral than social media portrays (my theory is that some of the flowers were removed in order to provide more seating, because this place was packed!) I ordered a seasonal pistachio cream latte and a danish au chevre and was kind of surprised by both. The pistachio cream latte came with a healthy layer of pistachio cream. Its nutty, rich, a perfect compliment to the bitter espresso. The danish was a bit disappointing, very bready, but the filling inside was a nice fresh component. Overall, its well worth a visit just for the florals and drinks alone. Stop by if you get a chance!
google avatar

Gloria N.

Yelp
Beautiful store with beautiful and delicious selection of drinks and baked goods! I opted for a hot matcha latte as I was feeling something with caffeine but not coffee. The matcha latte was not only quite pretty but also delicious. The ambiance is super nice with the flowers surrounding you and the music choice helps to give off a calm environment. There are a few tables to sit at inside and some tables outside for outdoor seating. If you're in the area, definitely a must try.
google avatar

Lori D.

Yelp
Beautiful inside and the coffee is GREAT!!!! The Capps were 10/10 and the people watching and relaxing space is meant to be enjoyed.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
Beautiful cafe and florist--the beauty of Remi transports you to spring when you're looking for a place to hide from the rest of New York. The cafe is small, but they make do with the space they have. There are multiple small tables and a larger table for a shared sitting space for those in groups or people going alone to sit comfortably. I can imagine the outdoor seating to be popular when the weather permits. London fog (10/10): very standard London, the earl grey prominent and not watery or overpowering. Iced lavender latte (10/10): also a very standard lavender latte. I enjoyed a lot, the lavender flavor really shining through. My boyfriend and I got a couple of pastries as well. Strawberry financier (8/10): I felt like there could've been more strawberry, but the almond dough itself was delicious! Spinach and feta croissant (8/10): very good, although maybe slightly under seasoned. Filling was abundant and the pastry itself was a great breakfast! Chocolate croissant (10/10): warmed to crisp perfection on the outside, its flakey layers falling apart in your mouth, but not too warm where the chocolate was like lava biting into. One of my favorites! I love that they have a couple of nondairy options and a simple drink variety and specialties. Nothing is gimmicky; everything is intentional in its beauty and flavor. The baristas were nothing but efficient and kind. I would love to come back here and try some of their hot drinks.
google avatar

Yuna C.

Yelp
This has been on my bucket list of places to visit in the city, as I've seen so many Instagram-worthy shots of the drinks and beautiful flower arrangements. Maybe it was the weekend and being one hour before closing, but it was not the ambience I was expecting - it was overpacked with very limited seating (very large tables that made it difficult for solo diners) and difficult access to the flower shop-aspect of the cafe. I would definitely like to go again perhaps during the not so peak hours or warmer weather, so I can more comfortably look at the plants/flowers and their fun iced drinks.
google avatar

Anna T.

Yelp
WOW, what a fantastic place. The drink selection is incredible, the quality and craftsmanship that goes into the drinks was so impressive. The lavender latte was delicious and very unique. The space is a little small but they max it out with as much seating as possible inside. It is also a flower shop so there are beautiful florals everywhere and I felt very at peace there. The pastries are fantastic, but I will say a lot of options sell out very fast. The everything croissant was to die for. They also have there much larger sister cafe Remi 2 up the street if you see that this location is packed. 10/10 and I would go every day if I could.
google avatar

Melissa T.

Yelp
Remi Flower & Coffee is a great place to grab coffee and sit down to chat. They have free wifi but it might not be the best place to get work done. I went on a Sunday morning and it was super busy! Lots of people stopping by to grab coffee. They have nondairy options for an additional 0.75 cent charge. There is also a small flower shop inside with super cute bouquets and dried flowers!
google avatar

Ava W.

Yelp
Beautiful decor and space, but both me and my friend who visited had a pretty bad reaction to the drinks shortly after we left. I assumed it was our drinks since both of us nearly at the same time needed to find a bathroom. We were in the shop for a good duration of time afterwards, maybe about a hour or so until closing. Not sure what went wrong with the drinks. They are very pretty but definitely going to be more aware when ordering. Otherwise it's a beautiful little shop for plants and coffee. A wonderful idea. But am definitely uneasy about ever ordering drinks here again.
google avatar

Lili K.

Yelp
Remi and Remi 43 are two of the best cafes in NYC-I've been here over 50 times and love it! Both places are as pretty as their drinks, and they actually taste delicious, too
google avatar

Josie S.

Yelp
This is a very cool place to try out. Their latte is beautiful. They have a friendly staff and the plants are so fun to be around. I was in a huge fan of their butterfly pea tea, but everything else was delicious.
google avatar

Renee P.

Yelp
great ambience, lighting, and greenery! it was pretty crowded when me and the girls pulled up so you might have some trouble finding seats, but i adored the interior. definitely cute for a short study session especially in the loft seating!! i got a berry matcha latte and a turkey sandwich for a brunch(?) situation and i liked them both well enough. i don't think there was anything particularly special about the matcha but it was smooth and you could definitely taste the notes of berry (maybe strawberry)? the sandwich was just solid for how hungry i was lol and it was quite large + generous in portion size my friend really loved the tiramisu latte, but the butterfly pea latte tasted just like... colored milk
google avatar

Nina L.

Yelp
What a cute coffee shop and if you sit down you're surrounded by flowers. We came in after the craziness of the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. It was a normal level of crowded. We were able to sit at a table and there were 4 - 5 people in line in front of us to order coffee. I ordered a chai latte with oat milk and my friend tried their pistachio latte. Both were delicious. It was nice to slow down and enjoy a warm beverage on a sunny but chilly afternoon in New York.
google avatar

Pooja P.

Yelp
Cutest Flower & Coffee shop with vibrant NYC vibes!!! Now how can you go wrong with that combination?!?! The moment you enter the shop, you're greeted with the aroma of the fresh flowers. If that doesn't instantly cheer you up, I don't know what will?!?! I ordered their famous lavender latte with oat milk. Not just the coffee was aesthetically artsy, but def lived upto it's hype with the delicious taste and floral notes. Also it's a flower shop, so it's always refreshing, aromatic, the place is quite roomy and also has upstairs seating and see through dome. The service is self checkout. Overall very cute instagrammable coffee shop!!!
google avatar

Samari K.

Yelp
My husband and I popped in yesterday morning for some coffee. The inside is so cute you're essentially in this adorable cafe/flower shop. I got the berry rose tea latte with almond milk and my husband got the cold brew, would come back for our drinks!
google avatar

Bridget W.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the vibe in here. It's a tiny coffee oasis in Midtown, perfect to sip a great latte in the presence of beautiful floral arrangements and plants displayed throughout the shop. So relaxing. Indoor and outdoor seating, but come early because the seating is limited. I had a rose latte with oatmilk, which looked fantastic and tasted just as wonderful. It was also pretty enjoyable to watch the florist at work on an arrangement of bright dahlias. Highly recommend checking out this adorable coffee shop!
google avatar

Vicki C.

Yelp
I like flowers but don't really like being outside, so a flower shop plus cafe like @remi.nyc is perfect for me! Love the beautiful flower arrangements, and the coffee are pretty good too!

Debbie B.

Yelp
My go to place with my team in NYC. It's a beautiful flower and plant shop with a coffee shop inside it. Great selection of coffees, teas and cookies. My team and I love coming here. Service great.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
I was in NYC a couple of times earlier this year and visited two different Remi locations and loved them both! Such a cute environment!
google avatar

Lindsay S.

Yelp
came here really early one weekend morning, and while there were a handful of people sitting down already, the service was very fast. They offer a wide variety of pastries homemade, and a couple of prepackaged gluten-free cookies. I got a latte for $6, which is on par with other coffee shops in the city and tasted good as well. Will have to come back and try some other flavored beverages - i think that's what this place is known for.
google avatar

Ceci C.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday early afternoon, and was luckily able to snag a seat by the window (the only place indoors that you were allowed to use your laptop). Remi Flower & Coffee is a small, cozy place that serves some of the prettiest lattes I've seen. I got their lavender latte, which is just chefs kiss as usual. They also have a good selection of pastries, if you come in a bit hungry. Overall, this seems like a good place to catch up with a friend or read a book. There's wifi, but there's only 2 seats that allow you to use your laptop, so keep that in mind!
google avatar

Agnes P.

Yelp
LOVE this spot! What a cute coffee spot!! They have a great collection of drinks and pastries. Tried their honey latte which was smooth and delicious. Their almond croissant was another hit, very buttery and soft. Their interior is beautiful with a wonderful collection of plants. There's also a nice upstairs portion with more tables
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
Came back for the cheddar scallion scone, which had a good amount of cheddar flavor and a good balance of salty & savory flavor throughout the scone, and rose latte with oat milk. The rose latte had a lovely floral scent. I am curious about trying their plain latte next time.
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop! Feels like you're in a plant terrarium. Very bright and airy. Got the butterfly pea matcha drink. Flavors came together really well.
