Ren Wen Noodle Factory

I have tried this new noodle place 5 times. I was there at the soft opening and the experience was great. The scallion pancake was fried to perfection and the beef noodle tasted authentic. However, at the grand opening, the experience went sour. My order was delayed at least 20 minutes, then wrong order was taken plus food quality definitely dropped. It was like they could not handle the volume. But everything seems to return to normal now. I rate this place 5 stars for the value and the location. Will for sure come back again.

I came for lunch on a recent Sunday for the first time. The restaurant is conveniently located near the 71st Avenue subway station. The entry is bright and welcoming; the restaurant itself is big, clean and laid out nicely. They have an open kitchen in the back. There were plenty of seating and I imagine this place would be good for group dining. I got the RW Stir Fried “For-Fun” with roast pork. It’s basically a chow fun noodle dish except that wheat noodle is used here. The noodles are stir-fried with bean sprouts, onions, chives and roast pork. I liked that the noodles had a nice chewy quality, but it needed more sauce as it tended to clump together. I also got an order of pan-fried pork dumplings. I thought the pork had nice flavor, was very juicy and the wrapper was nice and thin. Wish it came with more than four pieces, though. It’s not on their website but they have a lunch menu. At the end of the meal, I was completely full, and my bill only came out to $10.56 before tip! I’m sure I’ll come again whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

Ren Wen Noodle Factory is definitely a perfect place for a quick fix dinner after work due to their location by subway entrance and casual ambiance. They served a variety of choices from appetizers to noodles bowls and the great part is you have multiple noodle options based on your preference. We ordered chicken wings (4pcs), shrimp rolls (6pcs) and scallion pancake (8pcs) as our appetizers. The chicken wings were the best, super juicy with sweet-sour flavored layer but in wet not crispy style. For entrees, we tried RW beef noodles, wonton noodles and Tonkotsu ramen. Our favorite was their beef noodles, the broth was simply light but thick with little sweet flavor and the beef was well-braised and soft with great portion. Overall, we will definitely come back to have different options on menu and highly recommend to our friends who live in the neighborhood.

Amazing! This noodle place turned my day upside down! I had a horrible experience in a different restaurant and I came into this restaurant extremely HAPPY and WELCOMED! The waiters and management are extremely polite and friendly I was truly amazed by the awesome service. This is a life changing experience I highly recommend. What’s even better is a bill for two people (2 appetizers, 2 ramen entrees, fortune cookies, tea and drinks are only 20 dollars). At forest hills, this is a STEAL!! COME HERE DONT SECOND GUESS URSELF!! Lunch specials are so cheap but food is high quality and filling. The waiters come around and refill the drinks and ask if you want their signature jasmine tea or water they are happy to refill. The bathroom was available and clean. The seating is so relaxed! We asked for hot sauce and they politely gave it to us.

I will give a four star. For the price, both lunch and dinner specials are competitive, that is 5 star. For the atmosphere, it is good, clean, and lightfully decent, that is a four star. For the taste, better than the takeout store but not authenticate. The noodle is not hand-pulled. The beef noodle soup is too sweet I should say. The cha bao is too dry. So it would be 3 star and half. Overall, four star.

Very good for the price. Wonton noodle soup is $6.95. The fried was like $2 more. The soy sauce and the crunchy book choy made its delicious. At these prices I'll be a regular customer

The food is great and our waitress is very nice. Spicy Wonton Soup and RW Raging Ramen are my favorite. Glad to have a this restaurant in the neighborhood. Will definitely come back again! Sadly I was told that they don't have delivery at this moment.

I loved the shrimp rolls! Rich flavor and crispy on the outside! 😋 Beef noodles also tasted very good, especially the broth. The restaurant is very clean with an open kitchen. I am sure I would come again.
