I’d like to recognize the wonderful service I’ve received from Vanesa in the lounge upstairs as well as the front desk employees. Vanesa is always warm, attentive, and professional. She consistently greets guests with a positive attitude and creates a welcoming environment. Her attention to detail and willingness to help really set her apart.|She recommended the blondies for dessert, now I’m obsessed everyone must try the blondies.|I also want to acknowledge the front desk team for their excellent service. They are friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs. Their professionalism and patience make a noticeable difference and help ensure that guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.||Thank you to Vanesa and the entire front desk staff that including Dawn for maintaining such a high standard of hospitality. The room was old but well maintained and clean. Comfortable bed and quiet air conditioning. We were in the 10th floor, so even that it's next to the highway it was still quiet. It seems this hotel has seen better days, not busy at all. Convenient location. The price though, $300.00 per night! Expensive for what you get, but I guess inflation has doubled the price in the last 5 years.

Stayed during the Christmas break and they upgraded me to a top floor suite. I was told no one was working the lounge but I'd still have access. That wasn't the case as it was locked up more securely than a bank vault. The breakfast was delicious with a perfect sized omelet. The bar service is fantastic and they have an amazing pesto chicken sandwich.

Arthur was an absolute JOY to interact with at check-in!! I had honestly started to lose hope that true customer service still existed in this day and age, but Arthur completely restored my faith. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything went smoothly. It was such a refreshing experience!||The room is wonderful and we wish we could stay longer!!

A solid hotel experience. A plus for the service at the front desk. Great sleep quality in a comfortable bed a very quiet aircon/heating unit. It could use a bit more TLC. Bedside clock was still on daylight savings weeks after the change and the topshelf in the wardrobe was dusty.

Stayed here while on business. Overall, the hotel is very clean and well maintained. Room was nice and cool and everything worked as expected. Staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly. The only issues or complaints I had were that the water pressure in the shower is absolutely horrible (at all hours of the day). The bathroom also had a lingering sewage smell that would come and go. Nothing overpowering, just noticeable. This has been mentioned in other reviews also. There are no vending machines in this hotel. Once the bar closes, you are out of luck for drinks. Gas station is a 7 min walk away so it's not a big deal but it would be a good idea to get some vending machines. The restaurant in the hotel is not the best. Food was ok but nothing I would go back for. Luckily there was a ton of restaurants in the area.

Everytime I stay at this hotel, I'm so excited to see Alex at executive lounge. His customer skills, preparation and willingness to help others is top notch. Even with the busy crowds, he is energized and ready to go. I look forward to seeing him on my next visit.

Rocio was amazing during my entire stay. She definitely deserves a raise because it seemed like she never went home. I would come back to this hotel just because of her. I noticed some guests being rude to her and she handled it so well with a smile. She is a gem and youre luck to have her.

My Marriott experiences are generally excellent. This is the exception. This is my second or third time staying here. Generally, for conferences. It would not be my first choice for other recreational purposes. No valet, no covered parking (it was blocked off, and the front desk was clueless for an explanation), no ice machine on the 3rd and 15th floors, maybe I am being overly picky, but I paid over $300 a night for the room. On the plus side, the hotel is clean, it feels fairly up to date, the rooms are nice, the staff was friendly and the conference service by the housekeeping and catering staff was very good. I would recommend this hotel as a conference location; I would not necessarily recommend it as a first-choice vacation destination.

I was back at Renaissance for 2 nights trip to Dallas for work. This is my second time staying at this hotel. I love this hotel's luxurious lobby, sitting area and spacious common space. The room is equally excellent quality with soft bed, premium toiletries and a good wifi. My check-in was quick and easy. They didn't have any king bed room that I originally reserved for, but gave me a double bed room on the top floor, next to the concierge. I had no clue they had a concierge here. It was a really nice one, with decent breakfast, snacks and drinks. I found out this time within walking distance the hotel has many good restaurants. There's also a mall within 5 minutes drive.

This is my go to hotel whenever I am in the Addison area. The staff is always incredibly friendly. They have a coffee shop in the lobby which, while expensive, is very convenient. Their gym is above average, and they have a really nice bar in the lobby. While the rooms are nice with good amenities, they heat up FAST in the Dallas sun so you can expect to return to a very hot room if you don't leave the air on a bit when you leave during the summer.

Soooooo this was the hotel we stayed at for a work conference. Second time being here. The first time was 5 years ago. I like that there's a Starbucks in the lobby area and this hotel is quite clean. Conference rooms are big enough to host attendees. Hotel staff are nice and friendly and are pretty accommodating. The only thing that bothered me during our stay here were the elevators. I noticed the first day that the elevator had an unpleasant odor. I thought it was just me that noticed it or maybe it was just that one. But then I smelled it again in the other 5 elevators. I asked my colleagues if they noticed the smell, and they all agreed that the smell reminded them of farm animals. I personally thought it smelled like a sewage problem. But why in the elevator though ? Gosh I really hope they got rid of that smell because it was not pleasant.

arthur walker at the front desk was amazing. so nice, funny, and helpful. cracked me and my boyfriend up and helped us resolve a slight room issue without us even asking.

The location of this hotel leave much to be desired. There was construction going on in the parking lot which made things a bit difficult. I was here for an event and the meal was okay. The steak was good but it was cooler than room temperature. The cheesecake wasn't all that great. Our waitress was wonderful and was on top of things. Breakfast was good and it was nice to have so many food options at the buffet. The bar in the hotel had good food but it was over priced. $16+ for chips and salsa is a bit much. Front desk staff was nice enough. The room was nice. You'll find the fridge when you close the bathroom door because the door covers the fridge. It was very disappointing to not have a pool DURING THE SUMMER. I may try this hotel again as long as it's been fully renovated.

We were part of a wedding party staying for two nights. We received a block room deal, so the pricing wasn't too bad--but if I had paid the regular rate, I would have been very disappointed with the experience. It's better than a motel, but worse than a Holiday Inn or Best Western. To start, they charge $18 a day for parking, which would be fine if it was enforced. Most people weren't paying, and no one was towed. The bigger issue was that the gates were wide open at night, and on the second day they stayed open all day. The front desk staff seemed rushed and generally inconsiderate. The room itself looked nice at first glance thanks to some decent décor, but that's where it ended. When we arrived, the toilet smelled strongly of sewage or sulfur--absolutely disgusting. The TV kept shutting off randomly, which was frustrating. The pillows felt like bean bags and were not comfortable at all. The AC was unreliable--set at 70, it would be freezing during the day, but at night the room would climb to 75. We tried multiple settings but still woke up sweating each night. There were no bellhop carts, no valet service (even though it was offered for some guests), and no microwave in the room. Overall, the hotel tries to come off as upscale, but it falls far short. It's simply an extremely overpriced hotel that doesn't deliver on the experience it promises.

This hotel has rude and inconsiderate customer service and front desk personnel. There is also no laundry and the hallways smell funky.

Easy check in. Very respectful of Marriott rewards members and benefits. Room was always clean. AC worked well. Only downside was the pool was closed and it was summer.

Idk why this hotel has such low stars, my recent stay was great! The room was clean and well attended, beautiful interiors. I was there for a work conference, which is usually a drag but it was super convenient. I didn't eat at any on property options, but I did hear from others the lobby Starbucks isn't the full Monty. I had a rental car, so I already intended to go off property. I enjoyed the stay completely.

Disappointed so much! When we checked in the receptionist asked to bring a baby crib into the room but never came. And in-room phone was physically disconnected and couldn't find a LAN port so we couldn't call to request a baby crib to the front or anywhere. Requested to fix the phone after we regularly called the hotel but never fixed. So we couldn't order a room service. When called again the hotel and they gave us an extension number but couldn't connect to the room service from outside the regular call. Requested via app chat for two days in a row but never fixed. Then tonight, the TV suddenly disconnected but the in-room phone disconnected too so I called the hotel again but never came any engineer at all. What a poor service!! I want my money back.

Everything was great except the pool was closed because the warning signs around the pool were being changed. Why a pool has to be closed for 4 days to change 2 signs is a question all we're asking.

Every time I drive by this Hotel I get so upset. Lobby full of prostitutes the valentines weekend we stayed. People partying in the hallways. A ruined stay. They have never addressed or compensated us. A minus 10 in my opinion

I thought Renaissance Hotels were upscale. Not this one! Do not stay here! Unless you want to get your vehicle stolen! After we went to the desk to tell them our vehicle was stolen, they told us someone else had their vehicle stolen the previous day. Not only was our vehicle stolen at 12 a.m., on 8/31/2023, but SIX others were stolen!! Renaissance, you may want to check your staff and security because this seems like an inside job. Renaissance denied any responsibility from their customer relations representatives. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Above average condition of hotel, apparently it's had a remodel. Beautiful lobby and lots of elevators, which makes coming and going so much easier. Not really walkable anywhere. Lots of on-site parking. Starbuck's downstairs is actually a cafe that happens to sell Starbuck's. WOW is it expensive though. Baseball or football stadium pricing. Pricing is higher than expected though. My company paid, but ouch, had it been out of pocket I probably would have been resentful.

Great Stay! Very friendly staff. Robert in the lobby was very knowledgeable about the surroundings. Room was very clean and well kept. Best hotel gym I have been to. That's not a resort.

I would not recommend this hotel or compare it to the Marriott standard I've enjoyed. I stayed for a conference and had a number of issues. The final night the AC cut off in the hotel leaving my room at 82 degrees making attendees very uncomfortable, they continuously overbook rooms so you can reserve and book a king bed and come to the hotel to get assigned a double bed. The person at the front desk said this is a recurring problem I had cut my finger and asked the front desk for a band aid and they said they don't have any(???) that was really strange. Finally, I guess to save electricity they cut the lights in the hallway at night(??), you come off the elevator and it's pitch black and only emergency lights in the hall. This was extremely uncomfortable to me as a woman having to walk to the end of the hallway to get to my room with only emergency lights on. I gave two stars because the staff was friendly, the conference was nice and you can tell they renovated the rooms but they did not renovate the electrical wiring to be able to keep up with the hotel. Marriott needs to invest more in this hotel to keep it at the Marriott standard we've come to enjoy.

If you've read reviews about construction.... Ignore them. Old news. Hotels are renovated. This one is. Nice comfortable rooms, well appointed with new fixtures and furniture. Shower was great. Ate dinner at the restaurant (say hi to Lilly) and the food was very good. Friendly service. Here's a pic of the chopped salad with blackened salmon. Yum! A good Marriott with lots of space for meetings etc too if that's your thing. Reasonable restaurants nearby.

Pleasant stay. We were in the area buying a car and stayed for the weekend. Close to nice shopping areas and restaurants. The first night we ate at the bar and had a few drinks. Food was actually pretty good. We spent Saturday visiting shopping stores and trying local dining places. The hotel was clean and had plenty elevators. We were fortunate to be on the 15th floor. The view was amazing.

Clean rooms and spacious area. I visited early June 2021 on a weekday and it was still very quiet without many guests. I was able to park in the valet area due to tourism not quite at its summer peak. At this time, masks were mandatory for common areas. I did feel safe and comfortable. The restaurant and shops were not quiet open during all hours, but mainly during the day. The hotel is located near several shopping and dining areas and is very convenient for a visit in Addison. This hotel apparently received a remodel the past year with many upgrades and redesigns. The room was outfitted with a fridge BUT it is located behind the glass door to the bathroom. Therefore, you could easily miss it. Thankfully, the reception desk told me about this feature because I really wanted this particular amenity to hold cold drinks. After all, it's quite hot in Texas in June!

Am in a 725 room. Toilet erupts super loud at random times day and night. Told them to fix 3 times. Never did a thing or said anything till i waited around . Turns out they know all x25 rooms do this. They make you complain over and over knowing they can't fix. 200 plus dollars a night for motel 6 service.. Btw engineer that finally told me there is no fix was very polite.

I wish there were more stars! I checked in 10 days ago because my water was turned off. I had to extend my stay daily as I received updates on our water situation. From the moment I checked until I left late this afternoon, I was treated like a special guest. I needed my tea in the mornings and always had my favorite. I had to work during the day and wifi was complimentary. If I needed fresh linens and towels one call and done. The staff was phenomenal. Sabrina and Marcus were extremely nice and laughed with me about every day extending my stay and very sympathetic as they knew how much I was spending. I really enjoyed interacting with them. When I check out today they left me a note expressing the staff's pleasure to have me. I'm sure they provide this kind of excellent service to all their guests but this guest really appreciates their efforts and humor. I hope Marriott Leadership sees this and recognizes this staff and especially Sabrina and Marcus for outstanding service. I'll pop in from time to time to drop off some happy treats for them. Renisannce, thank you for making a tough situation so much better.

The hotel is overall quite stunning. Staff was very accommodating. However, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and I don't feel that the door was secure. I was very excited to stay at this hotel, but I'm now I'm pretty disappointed and feel that it does not live up to the standard, that a Renaissance usually sets.

First time visiting this property and -- I love it! Hubs and I were in town for a conference and received the fantastic service and accommodations that I've come to know and love with the Marriott Bonvoy brand! I booked a king room and was upgraded to a gorgeous 2-level/1.5 bath suite on the top floor. YASSSSSS!!! Emily, at the elite desk, checked me in and graciously walked me though the hotel layout and amenities. Truly enjoyable property and stay! Cheers!

Zero stars. Not only did Jermaine say they can't reserve particular room numbers but said GOOD when I said I would have to book somewhere else. I was trying to explain how important it was for my parents 20th wedding anniversary to be in the same room but he was not just unhelpful, he was RUDE. Wow. So glad I didn't send them there JERMAINE.

We stayed at the Renaissance last night and decided to have breakfast there this morning. The breakfast was great and worth the cost. The staff provided exemplary service especially the wait staff in the restaurant. We really loved the check out time (noon). We'll return!!!

The hotel is nice overall but is very confusing and all entrances within the hotel is outside and no access from inside hallways. This is clearly a longer term stay location. There were people hanging outside and somewhat noisy. Some had very large dogs and I almost got jumped on in elevator by a Great Dane size dog. The rooms are nice and overall, not to bad. The breakfast area is not large enough to contain the number of people compared to the size of the place and I was unable to get breakfast due to the overfill of people and the staff being able to stock fast enough.

Sadly, the restaurant says they no longer host their easter buffet. Used to be a wonderful experience, complete with ice sculpture, meat carving stations, and even at Texas attempt at Sushi. Sadly, that was when it was the hotel Intercontinental.

We booked a suite with a balcony view for the 2021 Kaboom Town 4th of July Fireworks show which returned this year after the event was relocated last year because of COVID safety. First off, I have to give a big shout out and thank you to Frieda at the hotel who was incredibly helpful and accommodating in getting the room we wanted for the 4th of July. There were still lots of safety protocols in place which we appreciated. However, because of ongoing staff shortages in the industry which I completely understand, there were limitations to dining and menu items available which was fine. Just don't expect a fine dining experience. This may be a result of safety or the renovations they started last year. I just don't know. For the most part the hotel felt like it was operating at 50% and many areas were closed off. My only ding for one star was that the coffee lids were too small for our cups in the room. There was also only one set of towels when I mentioned two adults for the room. No big deal. However, I really expected some sort of little treat for us in our room like a couple of cookies or mints to let us know we were appreciated. Again, not a big deal. But my biggest gripe was the breakfast option. I was really hoping for a small complimentary breakfast, but the only option was to spend $22 per person for a huge buffet. I wished there was a menu that I could have ordered something small like an egg and bacon, or just a bowl of cereal. Sadly, this was not available which I can only imagine is because of the ongoing lack of staff in the hospitality industry. Overall, we had a great time watching fireworks on our balcony and meeting some fun people on the other balconies. We had a small meal before the show in the bar/dining area which included a delicious bowl of tortilla soup and a breaded shrimp appetizer that we both shared, along with two cocktails each. The bill for our meal with a generous tip was $80. Cocktails were not very strong but overall everything was good and so was our waitress. The Renaissance Hotel Addison did a fantastic job at check-in and the lines moved very fast considering how many people arrived for Kaboom Town in Addison. We had a great time and look forward to staying again for another special occasion. Thanks so much to the staff and Frieda for making us feel welcome, relaxed and taken care of for our brief staycay.

This Hotel was amazing, and truly surprised me. I am not sure why they have such low stars but the rooms are extremely nice, they have great customer service and keep everything clean. I did not eat anywhere on property but everything looked very good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality for a reasonable price!

Attentive and courteous staff, clean hotel, great gym. For a conference center hotel in Addison , Texas - it's a great spot. Temper expectations, and you will enjoy your stay.

We've always had a really pleasant time staying here. The check in staff are friendly and efficient and during this last trip we were upgraded to a complimentary two floor suite. The hotel was modernizing during our last stay but it was unobtrusive and we didn't hear any construction work going on. Our room was spacious and the bed was SO comfy. My only wish was that the water in the bathroom could have run hotter so I could have enjoyed the tub - but unfortunately it only got 'warm'. Overall the hotel is vast and clean with nice touches to the ballroom, and includes a gift shop, clothing store, cafe and restaurant. I always get a margarita on the rocks here from the downstairs bar because they're so damn good. We'll be back!

This was a great hotel when Intercontinental owned it We have a conference here every year and this year the hotel swung to a new low. Conference rooms were really hot or as cold as a walk in freezer, they couldn't provide keys to conference rooms, shut off internet randomly , ice machines were disconnected, and by the last day the whole hotel had no AC. This is a 4 star hotel on a Motel 6 budget. I wouldn't recommend this place whatsoever

This is a wonderful hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and professional, especially Arthur Walker. He made our stay enjoyable with his friendly smile and always checking on our needs. The lobby bar is comfortable and lovely. The room was spacious. We had a great time.

Do not stay here! My vehicle and several other vehicles were stolen from the hotel parking garage. Renisance denied any responsibility from their customers relations representatives. They have signs now saying not responsible for stolen vehicles everywhere.

My stay was not pleasant at all. My first room had what I learned to be German Cockroaches. I killed 5 of them in the morning. When I brought a tissue down to the desk with two dead, one still twitching - the gentleman at the counter didn't appear surprised in the least bit. I did demand a new room, and was given the same room just a few floors up. I was anxious the remainder of the stay, constantly checking under things to ensure there were no more roaches. The next day a front desk manager did call my room to apologize. She offered a couple drinks at the bar. After two nights I needed to request room service for a fresh towel and coffee for my room. While a note was taken, I was told by front desk staff that the hotel did not have any clean towels at that time (evening). After 5 nights, I never did receive any room service to refresh towels or provide in room supplies like coffee, shampoo, or soap. While at the conference I was there for, the boxed lunches were cold and bread was stiff. The elevators constantly did not stop on the floors requested. It became a running joke about which elevator actually would take you to which floor. The conference area was also frigid cold like an ice box, or other areas were hot as a sauna. At the restaurant the final night we waited a half hour for our food to find out they were out of shrimp, we ordered again only to find out they found shrimp. In total waiting just under an hour for our meal. I would not recommend this hotel to anymore.

Wonderful looking hotel but I was extremely disappointed with the unexpected bill on my credit card once I returned back home. The clerk at the front desk informed me that I could park anywhere on the property for free even in the valet labeled parking spots since there was no valet services on duty. To my surprise I receive a $30.00 bill. And after two days of hearing that "The accounting services are not here to correct your issue, can you call back tomorrow?", I am disappointed. I expected so much more from a hotel of this caliber. Avoid this hotel or they will surely nickel and dime you as they did me.

We stayed at a few Marriott hotels lately and this one didn't disappoint. We spent 3 nights here for a conference and enjoyed the lovely bar lounge, gym, and spa. We were offered a late check out since our flight wasn't until 4pm, which was very helpful. $150 per night was a bit on the expensive side, but the hotel itself is spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Compared to other hotels we've stayed at, this one feels classy but not luxurious. Overall we had a pleasant experience here and would come back.

#marriott I was doing a weekend getaway with my wife and around midnight found what looks like bed bugs. We immediately checked out and called Priceline as Mary at the front desk told us to do for a refund. We waited online 30 minutes for the agent to tell us that Mary would not confirm this. I am very disappointed by the actions of Rennisance Hotel and that of Priceline. I will not use either party in the future. The pictures were taken on a magazine near the bed area after pulling off the bed. I wanted nothing but a refund for the room for the night, nothing more since we were not able to stay the night understanding that the nicest hotels can ocassional issues. No effort or concern by staff.

Let me preface my review with the fact that I stay at hotels every week for work. Close to 50 stays totaling over 100 nights a year. That being said the experience you have at a hotel is tied directly to the expectations you have going into your stay. Is this a romantic hotel to take your wife for a special get away? No. Is this a great place to use for a family vacation? Maybe. Is this a above average hotel for good business travel? Absolutely. Pros: - clean room - excellent concierge - friendly front desk - tv's offer internet TV (stream Netflix etc) - nice large office desk in rooms to work from. Cons: - no lounge for platinum members - whole hotel is in need of updating - out of service elevators my last two stays over two consecutive weeks. Ultimately, I'd recommend checking this place out. There are many other more expensive hotels for families and romantic get seats. If your splurging a bit on hotels for business travel; this place should be in your rotation.

Decent and clean hotel. Good for the conference I attended. Hotel provided breakfast and lunch. Fairly close to other destinations. Shuttle to galleria mall (or anywhere within three mile radius) was convenient. Nice aveda products. Somewhat dated. Overall recommend.

They do not clean the rooms, unless you specifically ask, and their continental breakfast (which looks like every other continental breakfast) costs $17. They hit you with the bill once you've dished up your cereal

This hotel is in rough shape. Nothing stands out as quality. They even "spray painted" over the classic bronze around the elevator doors. It's hit or miss on the a/c. Most of the hallways and elevators are stuffy & hot, on this trip out room a/c worked well. We have to come here for a work conference almost every year. Nothing to comment on staff. No one goes above & beyond, nor friendly. You might get a smile if they make eye contact. Most staff avoid eye contact. The elevators are slow which sucks during a conference The pool and pool area is the Best Kept Secret for this location. Good shade & lots of sun. Would I recommend to a friend or family member, um No. It's over priced compared to quality. Maybe if the did quality upgrades & found friendlier staff!

I wanted to like this place, but this boils down to the worst Renaissance I've stayed at. Normally I stay at the Marriott Addison/Quorum on the other side of Belt Line, but it was sold out. I refuse to go back to the Courtyard in Addison, so this was the natural next spot in the pecking order. A bunch of stuff was broken during my stay. The parking gate had its issues. The thermostat in my room did not work - I had it up to 90 degrees F and it was still blowing cold air. Elevator had its ups and downs, pun fully intended. Keep in mind, that there is no concierge lounge here. There's a bar in the lower level, and that's about it. They offered me a breakfast, but I'd be out of the hotel before it started.

I stayed here this last week for a large conference. I have stayed here in years past when it was the Intercontinental. This was by far the best stay I have had. The front desk staff was fabulous. They made everything so easy and pleasant. We had three people to a room and they split the bill with no issues. There was a woman at the front desk with short grey hair that seemed to be on top of any question or issue that came up. (Thank you!) The hotel is in need of renovation and from what we were told, that renovation will be happening over the next year. The hotel restaurant had a buffet lunch each day to try to accommodate the large number of guests. If you didn't want what was on the buffet, you had to sit in the bar area. This proved to be a weak point. I didn't have problems with my orders but my roommates waited 30 & 40 minutes for hamburgers that were ordered at the same time. Definitely an area that needs work.

When I arrived the entry way was completely dark and the open floor "ballroom" which is directly on your right when you walk in was completely dark. I thought the hotel was closed for a few sec. There is also a large water fountain that would look nice if it was running but it had a tiny stream of water coming out. Seemed like there was no up keep to the fountain, bringing the whole 1st appearence vibe down. The room booked with 1 Queen bed was spacious. We stayed on a Fri and Sat. As I was visiting the city for the wkend, my best friend met me in the room around 8 pm before going out to eat. She arrived and we caught up maybe 30 min. We had a knock on the door stating she was talking too loud. I was very surprised and a little upset knowing for the amount I paid for the room, I could not even conversate with a friend in the room. The man who told my boyfriend she was too loud was not polite at all. We left shortly after. To top off our stay, I was charged an extra $116 & $140 charge from the hotel. I brought the charges to the managers attention when checking out. I was informed it was a mistake and the charges would drop off. He waived my parking fee. However, the $140 charge remained. I contacted the hotel and they continue to send me to the "billing department" voicemail. I am now having to dispute the charge through my bank directly. All in all- I believe the hotel stays in business bc they hold conventions there. The rooms are dated. The bed was comfortable. We learned there is no vent in the bathroom. Wouldn't recommend the room of you plan on doing anything other than sleeping.

I really wish I could give this a better review bc this is my first review. I am a vendor that worked during All-Con 2018, March 15th-18th. TL;DR- New management (the Marriott) over this hotel almost killed an annual convention because they are greedy and corporate airheads. DO NOT PLAN ANY CONVENTIONS AT THIS HOTEL!!! Parking was horrible. We had to pay to get in and out. NO IN/OUT privileges for vendors, who may have a lot of heavy equipment and grid wall to carry up. Ok.... so we eventually find free parking on the other side of the garage. The staff/volunteers were REQUIRED to tell us that we CANNOT use the loading dock/utility elevators. I know it's not the staff's fault but it was ridiculous. People still used them anyways because it was impossible to get what we need up 3 OUT OF 6 PUBLIC ELEVATORS WORKING..... no escalators because THEY WERE BROKEN TOO. We couldn't even used the escalators as stair because it was too much of a liability. Food was subpar at best. I get it. We are vendors. We are such a burden to the hotel that all they would offer for food was severely overpriced sandwiches, wraps, and salads. I would have enjoyed the breakfast if it was less than $24 dollars per person. Luckily, it was decently stocked and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Because of the recent change in ownership of this hotel to the Marriott company, the name change ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE CONVENTION confused a lot of people. We barely made any money because anyone who stayed at the hotel had to pay a $50 incidental fee everyday they were there. So some people had $200 they couldn't touch the ENTIRE WEEKEND. Don't even get me started again on the food. Jason's deli would have been cheaper and better quality sandwich. You'd think you'd be able to relax in the spa area through all this.... NOT IF YOU ARE A FEMALE. The sauna for the women side was OUT OF ORDER.... Guess only the guys get to melt away the stress. I want to say again the staff was amazing. Despite all the drawbacks, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They would stop at nothing to make sure we were happy, within reason. The volunteers, seriously, are awesome people. They were even helping people unload and load back up after the convention. If I could just review the staff/volunteers separately, I would. DO NOT HOLD ANY CONVENTIONS AT THIS HOTEL. THEY WILL STEAL EVERY DOLLAR YOU HAVE AND THROW YOU OUT!!!!!!

While i understand that Marriott just recently took over this property, the condition of hotel is awful (and embarrassing). We were unfortunately upgraded to the presidential suite. A/C was not working in the master bedroom. Couldn't even call downstairs to report it as ALL four phones in the suite were inoperable. Had to use my cell phone to order room service, which, in itself was a horrible experience. I had to walk down the hall several times to use the hotel house phone by the elevators to find out where our food was. The food finally shows up in a to go / shopping bag? Did they order offsite as i've never had room service delivered "to go"?? We were staying at the hotel while attending a black tie charity event onsite. That, also, was very embarrassing as there were trash cans in the middle of the event to apparently collect water leaking from the ceiling. The escalator to get the ballroom was also broken we all had to wait for elevators to go up ONE floor. Again, very disappointing (new property under management or not).
