Renaissance Dallas Hotel

From the reception staff to the bar staff plus the room, amenities, parking, and location, this hotel is excellent. Destiny and the rest of the reception staff made me feel like family. Chris and Rosie at the bar were exceptional hosts. The prices at the Asador were reasonable with good serving sizes. I appreciated the toiletries and nice hot water in the shower. The hotel is beautiful with great amenities, but the staff was exceptional. Great job, Renaissance! I really enjoyed my stay.

I am disabled and the team made sure that became family to have a great experience from opening the door to the event to closing the door to go home. There always expectations that are not met but you see a culture that understand customer service for the quality of the place and it gives the hotel’s brand the professional experience. The people make to make an impact through each weather experience gives them full service to walk away and not take for granted. But they is what great valet service does. It make their life easier.

Stayed at this hotel many years ago. It has really been remodeled and updated. Beautiful in all aspects. Room was very comfortable with nice view of downtown. A massive hotel on its own. Staff were all kind. Debra in the executive lounge was amazing. Our first time to meet her. She was so gracious. Other guests were clearly enchanted by her also, many staying at this facility numerous times. Breakfast and evening food offerings were wonderful. Gym was nice. The hotel clean all over. Nice to have an option for self parking. Look forward to coming again.

I must compliment your employee, Shakira S. She went above and beyond in so many ways, even helping me make an Uber reservation. She wrote down times for meals in the Lounge, times for the shuttle to the market and even walked me to the elevator to show me how they work. She was extraordinary and I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. Also the food in your Elite member lounge was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful hotel experience!

We hosted our company Christmas party at the Renaissance Hotel last week, and the entire experience was absolutely top notch. From the service to the food to the views, everything was executed at a very high level. A special shoutout to Chris, the GM — he is a complete rockstar. It’s immediately clear that he genuinely cares about his staff, and that respect and leadership shows in how well the team works together. His passion for service and for creating an exceptional customer experience really sets the tone for the entire property. Outstanding experience all around. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and will absolutely be back.

Brought on 2026 at the Renaissance hotel in Dallas. The hotel is an upscale hotel, with excellent design. decor, helpful and professional staff. Shakita checked us in and provided hotel information (bar/restaurant). We made a reservation for dinner which was not needed as it was not crowded. The bar, bartender and staff were very friendly. Drinks and food were reasonably priced. We had shrimp empanadas and short ribs. We were able to bring in the new year watching the Dallas firework show from our room. I wish the hotel hosted some type of New Year’s function which would have been an added bonus, but nonetheless we enjoyed each other’s company. Note there is NO free parking ($35) per night.

This hotel is very accommodating and has fabulous staff. I shipped some packages for a conference and there was a lady who helped me with my packages. I think her name started with a g. So sorry cannot remember but please recognize her because she did a great job. I absolutely loved staying here. Comfortable beds. Good amenities. Nice area

We had a company party at this hotel. It turned out amazing. Parking was easy. The chef was amazing. The service was superb. Maria was a God sent angel. If you have the pleasure of being on her floor, you will see why. Valet service was amazing as well. They move quickly and help set the tone for your stay. The redesign of the hotel, is absolutely stunning.

The hotel was nice. It has an upscale feeling with modern decor. The bed was comfortable and my room was clean and nice. The restaurant and bar space in the hotel was small and prices were crazy. The meeting spaces were elegant. The catered food for breakfast and lunch was tasty. Location is not horrible but also not great.

Wanna hear a funny story? We flew in to Dallas from Orlando for a work conference and our driver dropped us off here. This was not the hotel we were hosting our conference--- we were booked for a different hotel 20 minutes away. Once we realized that we were at the wrong place, sadly we had to leave. I was not at all happy about that. I was just getting comfortable in the plush couch in their upscale lobby and boss told us to get up and get on the new uber. Wahhhh!!!! Even though, we were only here for a good 30 minutes, I did notice the hospitality of the hotel staff. They offered us beverages as we admired the lobby decor while being mesmerized by the lavender scent that filled the air. Really wished we could've stayed here because the one we actually stayed at was not that good.

Hotel had great views all around, well maintained amenities, and great customer service. The staff was very easy to talk to and everything was clean. Highly recommended

This place is really nice. Pretty lobby with a restaurant. The staff at the registration desk were lovely. I was here for a small conference early October. The food was good. THE BEST GUACAMOLE I've ever eaten. The room was nice, good view off the 26th floor. I would come back here just for the guac!!!

This hotel is clean, nice and had very friendly staff. The parking lot is easy to access and the rooms are clean. The location is a bit off the beaten path near the highway and a trade mart.

Beautiful hotel. I really wanted to give this hotel five stars. The lobby decor is beautiful. They have a stunning rooftop pool with amazing views. There is a state of the art gym and the laundry room. The club lounge was fantastic. They even served crab one night. The lounge hostess, Jasmine, made me feel very welcome every day of my stay. She really got to know the clients and it was just a lovely atmosphere at the club. The evening refreshments in the main lobby were wonderful! However, the vent in my room was completely moldy. It was disgusting. I asked to have it cleaned before I came back from work. It wasn't done! I had a message from the manager on my room phone asking if it was completed to my satisfaction or did I want to switch rooms. No, it wasn't cleaned at all! I took pictures. I called back and they offered to switch my room. I feared that they would rent the room to someone else so I initially declined. I requested immediate service, which they promised. Two hours later, I made a third request and took up their offer to switch rooms. As I was leaving, a young man showed up with a squirt bottle and a rag. Sorry, but that wasn't going to work. They switched me to a similar room that was lovely with incredible views. I hope they do a full review of the vents in their hotel to ensure that no one else has to suffer through that kind of mold. I am allergic to mold, just as I suspect most people are. I felt awful for about a week afterwards.

My car was stolen from this hotel's paid parking lot -- a lot that is fenced, but clearly not secure. The thieves simply pressed the button to get a ticket, entered the lot, then exited through a large, unmonitored gate in the back that requires no authentication. According to hotel staff, this isn't the first time this has happened. They knew about the security flaw and still hadn't fixed it. The car was parked in direct line of sight from the valet stand -- maybe 100 yards away -- clearly visible from the front of the hotel. I'm almost certain the alarm would've gone off or the horn would've started honking, yet somehow no one noticed anything. It's hard to believe that something so loud and obvious could happen right in front of the hotel without any staff picking up on it. After the theft, the hotel's response was pathetic. I never saw or heard from the hotel manager. Their security staff reviewed footage but claimed they couldn't say what happened. And when we asked if anyone could give us a ride to the airport -- after just having our car stolen -- they flat-out said no. Not even a basic courtesy. If you care about your safety, your property, or basic human decency, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I travel often and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel.

They charge you for parking.. they charge you for breakfast. How much did they charge you to use the restroom? I really don't recommend staying here in this economy. They charge you for literally everything.

Stayed here for a business conference. Excellent facilities, modern hotel, great service. Gated secured parking, self parking is $30 per night, room car operated. Modern lobby, good restaurant, staff willing to accommodate request for a larger room. Comfortable beds, large rooms, modern showers. Shower takes a few minutes to warm up. Smallish pool on the 32 floor. A bit weird to get to - take the elevator to 30 and walk up two flights of service stairs to the gym / pool / laundry. Free laundry which helps when traveling back to back - I was able to wash / dry a load without bringing dirty laundry home. Amazing views from the top above the pool. Pool gets extremely hot during the day (can't fault the hotel for 100F weather in June) but it would be nice to have pool side service. Service ends at 5pm. Pool gets overrun by children. Good location and good job on soundproofing - can't hear the freeway at all. Overall excellent experience. Conference facilities are great.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a work conference on site. The hotel was beautiful and clean and all employees i interacted with were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and in a covered garage or you could park outside if you wanted. Check in was easy and once i was checked in i was able to do everything else from the app. We had a pretty bad storm hit one night for a large dinner and they made sure we were safe and in a middle room area and kept us well informed. There is a restaurant and bar on site if you need it and the Conference spaces were perfect.

The hotel is beautiful - the rooms are well appointed and the beds and pillows are comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart is the people. Everyone is so friendly and clearly happy to be working here. The Club Lounge is amazing! The food is delicious (lobster mac & cheese, crab claws, pad Thai...) But being greeted by people like Debra sets it apart. As I enjoyed some dinner (better than I would have had if I went out to eat), and watching Debra engage with nearly every person that came in by name - I was blown away! One person was heading out and just came in to say goodbye to her. THAT is what drives loyalty. Kudos to the Renaissance for hiring Debra and people like her! I can't wait to come back!

Fantastic high class hotel. We had our North Texas District Christmas party here. They served dinner which was delicious as well as cocktails which were refreshing. The staff is very attentive, courteous, friendly, and professional, and they make you feel very welcomed. The room was very nice, quiet, and comfortable.

I've stayed in several Renaissance properties and this one is by far my fav so far! Upon arrival the check in line was a little long and hotel staff were passing around wine and water to those in line. The hospitality was appreciated! Dog friendly hotel as well. The room was very spacious with Aveda toiletries. The room had a modern touch with lighting on the bed frame and outlets for charging devices. The downtown views weren't bad either!

This was a very nice hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Wished the pool stayed open later, also wish it had a few more amenities and activities.

I stopped by for a coffee, Aryes and Chris Jose was amazing, provided excellent service, I was blown away of the above and beyond service for a coffee Clean and Nice place. I will be back!

Great staff with a beautiful and well maintained hotel. Being able to hear your next door neighbors karaoke early 80's rock hits till 2:30am definitely takes a star away. Nobody wants to listen to Mr. Big from a room away at 2am

The hotel was very accommodating and Pleasant. I was pleased with the cleanliness of this location and also the ambience. The staff was great and Wesley was super helpful with my parking concern. I would definitely come back and select this location when visiting Dallas

We had an amazing stay at the Renaissance! My friend was there for a work conference, and I was just tagging along. Check-in was a breeze, and the front desk helped us navigate a few challenges - switching from one bed to two bed room, getting free wi-fi set up, and our discounted parking rate thru the conference. They were so friendly and really took their time to provide great service, even when there was a line. There is a daily parking fee, but the lot is secured and we never had an issue finding a spot no matter what time of day we came and went (valet was also offered, but we didn't use it). The elevators were SO FAST, the rooftop pool was immaculate, and while I didn't use the fitness center, it looked amazing and even had Peloton's available for use (was wishing I had brought some sneakers!). Rooms were very clean. The waterfall showerhead was perfection! Despite it being a very busy hotel, it was very quiet! We also visited the onsite restaurant/bar several times and had great service and food every time. I'm not sure if this hotel fits my budget for a vacation, but I would definitely return if I had the chance!!!

For a mid-level price point I was impressed with my stay. The hotel feels luxurious but not stuffy. The room was clean and everything looked newer even though the hotel is not. Full size shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Great Dallas skyline views. The pool was a great space- open until 10 pm. Hot tub could use a few more jets but was still enjoyable. The fitness center was nice and I had the place to myself on a Saturday morning. I had good service at the bar. Good pillows on the bed and tv was easy to operate unlike some places. Was able to log into my netflix within seconds. This place is not trendy or boutique, but its solid quality and great for a low key stay.

Paid over $400 for 2 nights but they are "under renovation" and don't have any microwaves. I could have stayed at a hotel for half the price and been able to heat up my left overs. ridiculous.

Someone needs to tell the glasshole food expeditor at the restaurant bar that HANDICAPPED people can indeed speak text messages into their phones. If it's LOUD at the bar like it was TONIGHT it might be NECESSARY to get CLOSE to the speaker so the message can be HEARD Thumbs down for anyone needing a room that uses accessibility option their phones. Nice hotel, parking is easy and convenient. However, they do charge 30 dollars a night for parking and it's not exactly in the middle of downtown so I'm not quite sure why the parking fee? Our room is very nice. However, the a/c does not cool very efficiently. The room was stuffy and difficult to cool even though we had the AC down to 65 degrees at night. Called the front desk for assistance and they said someone would come but no one ever did. Checked with the front desk in the morning and no one got back to me. The coffee pot was broken. I asked where I could get coffee and they pointed me to the bar where I had to buy plain regular coffee for 6 bucks a cup. They later brought us a new coffee pot. Otherwise, the room was very clean. However bed was very firm and not to my liking. The shower was very nice though. Overall our stay was very expensive for the type of service that was provided.

We stayed for 4 nights with my daughter's soccer team in June '24. The hotel was great, roomy and clean rooms, great rooftop pool and workout area, central location, our stay was great. While rushing to leave, I left several clothing items in the dresser in our room and I didn't realize it until after flying home to Michigan. Over the following days, Loretha with the Security department worked diligently to find our lost items and FedEx them back to us. We really appreciate her doing that.

My company recently moved our annual corporate conference to the Renaissance and it was such a upgrade for us from the hotels we had used previously. Every bit of our experience being here for the three day conference was excellent. The self parking garage was great to have because we had some bad weather and was easy access from the conference area and hotel. The hotel restaurant in the lobby was spot on for a quick glass of wine but also lunch for our first day. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have refrigerators which is a big add-on bonus to me since lots of places do not offer this anymore plus a big bathtub which I personally enjoy. The area that we hosted our conference in was large and had great outdoor seating areas for our breaks and post conference parties. We used the City view room and outdoor area as well with views of the Dallas skyline. The staff was phenomenally fast at flipping out things from snack breaks to lunch and waiting on us every step of the way. Really great experience and I'm happy that we have at least one more year at this location and I'm hoping for many more.

This hotel has the worst food. Bar food is never good, room service is worse. I ordered an omelette and the eggs were so overcooked I could not eat them.

Super schnazzy hotel and really phenomenal service. My only concern was that there was a really weird noise around my room - a gruff, guttural "heeeeyy" sound. I know this sounds bananas but I tried to find where the noise was coming from and couldn't pin-point the location - I thought that the hotel may be haunted or more logically, had weird pipes or odd alarm/hidden speakers?! Imagination or not -- the super random, abrupt and LOUD sound would wake me up throughout the night. I should have asked for a different room but I was too lazy to move.

Had an issue with our reservation and the way it. Was handled was terrible. The manager, Destiny, was incredibly condescending and belittled me during our interaction. She was unapologetic and disrespectful. For being in the hospitality industry she was the opposite of hospitable. I don't recommend this hotel solely based on the poor guest service and lack of hospitality from the manager

Since I began visiting Dallas back in the early 2000's, this has been one of my two go-to hotels. The hotel was renovated and it looks great. It's a classy hotel with friendly and professional staff. They really go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and special. The check-in process was easy and quick. The elevator ride up to the room was also quick. The room was great. You can see some of the photos I recently posted. I went to the restaurant around happy hour and had some delicious food and good drinks served up by Rosie. She's a great bartender with lots of personality. And she really attends to the customers. I highly recommend this hotel, and I will most definitely return in the future. it's a huge hotel but no microwave in the room, got charge for an amazon small package delivery. I went downstairs to pick it up wasn't delivered to my room fyi. Restaurant food was mediocre. Ate 3 times didn't finish the food. But Rosie is awesome and very accommodating. No shuttle bus to take you at least a block or 2. Totally won't recommend this hotel. Not near to anything restaurant nor store.

Just wanted to thank the front desk staff for a continued wonderful level of support when I visit the Renaissance. As an Ambassador member with over 2200 night stays worldwide, I can honestly say this hotel's level of service is comparable to any upper tier Marriott anywhere regardless of price. As this Renaissance is a home away from home for at least 50 stays every year, Valerie, Camron, Alex, Shakira, Ariana, Karina, Wesley and Christian always greet me with a smile and impeccable service. Marriott should use their example as a benchmark for their other hotels and how they treat their elite level guests.

Everything at this location is PERFECTION!!!!!! I'm in awe! I just came back from DC and stayed on the new waterfront property and nothing is close to what this hotel experience was. The staff are super incredibly nice! First, Chasity at the front desk made my check in fast and funny!!! She is a gem!!!! Then the room and amenities were just too notch! Talk about class! This is by far the nicest hotel ever and I am pretty picky! I'd take this property over a Ritz any day! Good breakfast! Nice roof top! Everything was Fantastic! The Valet staff were equally amazing! This was my first time here on business, because my expo was located at the adjacent Dallas Market Hall, which was a short walk adjacent to the hotel. This is the closest hotel to the Dallas Market Hall. Location, location is the key to this nice hotel. For that reason, I was happy to stay here. Also, I love my Marriott Bonvoy Renaissance hotels, which I have stayed in many other major cities. They always offer above average services to their Bonvoy guests. When I arrived, I was recognized as Lifetime Titanium Elite member. The front desk staff were always nice. Because the lounge was closed over the weekend, I was given a coupon good for the complimentary continental breakfasts valued at $16 during my entire 5-day stay here. The lounge closed Friday at noon and reopened again on Sunday at 5:30pm. Using my coupon, I was able to upgrade to the full buffet breakfast or any full breakfast with a value of $22 for only an additional $5 plus taxes. My breakfasts at the Asador Latin American restaurant were very nice, therefore, I will separately review. My room 1922 ranged in price from $137 to $197 inclusive of all taxes and fees, was very nice although it seemed like the HAVC system was not properly functioning in my room, which was usually too warm. It was not too bad; therefore, I did not report or complain about my HAVC problems to the hotel staff until after I checked out and completed their online survey. I had access to the Bonvoy lounge on the 27th floor where I enjoyed my breakfast, evening snacks and dessert. The lounge was open when I arrived Thursday night from 5:30-10pm and Friday morning 6:30-9am. The service up here from Debra and the rest of the lounge team was very accommodating and pleasant. I would return here again.

I get remodeling so a closed pool is understandable. Asking the front desk for a refrigerator that worked for the third day in a row became tiresome. After 9 days a new fridge never came. The ice machines on the 4th and 5th floors didn't work so I kept going to the 8th floor to get ice for my trash can cooler. Saw the same lint and threads on the hallway carpet for 9 days. The halls never get vacuumed. There is coffee in the room but none in the lobby unless you purchase for $3.50. The lighting in the room was poor. The digital TV system was annoying. Saw the same threads and lint on the hallway carpet for 9 days and it never got vacuumed up. The staff was nice. Nearly everyone I spoke to was nice. Rosie, one of the bartenders, is one of the nicest people I met in Dallas. Thank you Rosie. Keep up the great work. Both the mac n cheese and the grilled brussel sprouts were good food choices.

The room is so lovely: large and clean, has a nice-size desk to work at and a chaise lounge sitting area with a coffee table and guest chair. It feels like a suite but it's not! Bathroom is great. Seriously.... it's a great room. I usually try to arrive for a week-long conference early enough to get my bearings. I wasn't able to this trip so have relied on Afton at the reception/front desk to help me. What a friendly gal. I felt like I was pestering her with a lot of questions but she just smiled and answered them all. I can't say enough nice things about her warm attitude. When you travel a lot, the people who work the front desk are your connection to everything. I wish every hotel had someone like Afton. My only reason for giving it 5 stars is there's just one restaurant and no where walking distance to go.

Stayed at the Renaissance Dallas this weekend. The hotel is centrally located very close to UT Southwestern Medical School where we were attending Graduation. The room and the facilities are comfortable and clean. The Renaissance Club lounge is especially nice serving breakfast in the morning and drinks in the evening. Great view on the 27th floor club lounge. The hotel restaurant Asador serves good food although pricey. We had some issues the first night but the manager was able to work out compensation for a noisy Wedding party. Parking is $18 per day self parking. Some say " everything is bigger in Texas" but the parking spaces are the smallest I have ever encountered. The parking gates are hit or miss with your room key sometimes opening and sometimes not. Reserve early, I was able to get a great rate several months in advance.

I can't say enough about the attention I received as a guest at the Renaissance Hotel Dallas. I had a terrible accident and needed medical attention... When I called the concierge they sent an angel to me by the name of Loretha McCree. She came to my room and assisted me and got me to the hospital safely through EMS. She stayed with me and comforted me and I want to say thank you so much to her. The Renaissance Dallas hotel has a very special employee in her. I will never forget her kindness.

I came down from Chicago to celebrate my sister's birthday in Dallas and we stayed at the Renaissance. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The agent who checked us in, Jasmin, helped make my sister's stay extra special and memorable for her birthday. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We were fortunate to get a room with a great view of downtown. The day we checked out, we found that the vehicle next to us had run into our car overnight. LP was very helpful in giving advice regarding filing a claim and he also took photos for additional evidence, should our insurance need it. The location is a quick uber/cab from downtown, making it convenient, while also quiet. Should my travels bring me back to Dallas, I hope I am able to stay at this property again!

Very modern facility. Elevators controlled by a touch pad with NO buttons once you were inside. Was pleased with the Comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. Nice shower with rain head, large TV, Desk. Parking has to be paid for and not even a visitors lot..........(a business associate had to valet) So why only 4 stars? Room safe batteries appeared to be low (lit up then turned off), some days you got water some days you did not. Just a few little details that could turn this into a 5.......

Clean and fairly modern hotel room in a nice location of downtown. Hotel smells really amazing when you walk into the lobby. Service was helpful and efficient. Forgot my toothbrush and they brought one up to my room. Love the fact that the remote was wrapped in plastic ( to show it had been cleaned). Love that Netflix is on the tv. City views were comforting and I slept comfortably in my room. Restaurant was surprisingly a gem, but somewhat expensive. Tried one of the cocktails and it was top notch. Overall, enjoyed my stay and would come back!

Hello, I wanted to mention that this hotel is fantastic. We just booked this hotel as our wedding venue! So far everything has been great. Our wedding is going to be amazing. I want to mention that KEISHA MARIE CARTER,SENIOR CATERING SALES EXECUTIVE is helping us from start to finish and she has been amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend working with her and she really worked on our contracts, provided the space we needed for our multiple requests, and she really cares about our events!!!!!!!! Thanks Kiesha!

Nice place but $20 for two cookies and an extra small scoop of ice cream? Wow!! I travel a lot. That's not nice!!!!!

Flight was cancelled and had to book a one night stay. Very conveniently located with quick access to Love Field and UTSW and other medical centers. Room was nice. Plenary of modern upgrades like usb outlets on both sides of the bed. Lobby restaurant was lively when I arrived.

This is an excellent hotel with top notch service. Deb and Zach at the lounge are exactly what is needed after a hard days work. I have never been to a hotel where the staff at the lounge drive so much business. Talk to any of the regulars and they will tell you it is Deb who brings them back year after year!

Stayed here for 4 days on business. Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Staff is very friendly. Bar staff is very attentive. Food in restaurant bar was VERY GOOD. A little on the pricey side but that is just our reality now. Recommend.

The Renaissance in Dallas is a pretty cool hotel with an amazing exterior and interior appearance. This particular hotel has a fantastic entry with nice and modern amenities to go along with a gorgeous lobby. The service was pretty solid at the front desk and the restaurant/bar inside the hotel "Asador" is a solid dining option. The unfortunate thing about this hotel is that the rooms are a bit in need of an update. Some chipped paint here n there, old school fixtures and some general wear and tear through the suite, which was a tad bit of a bummer. The hotel itself is also a bit outside of downtown Dallas which means that there is really nothing within walking distance. That being said, driving is not too bad and uber is your friend. Overall, decent hotel in need of some updating... Pros- Entry Appearance Restaurant Service Lobby Plenty of parking City views High floors Cons- Room needs updating Bored when not facing the city Not much within walking distance A tad from city center

Although this hotel is off a freeway (like literally), it is very functional, clean and overall a good place to stay. I was here on business for a week and never felt "hotel sick". The service is professional, room service always delivered on time (or early which is always appreciated in the mornings!). The meeting spaces are large and comfy. The lobby could use a bar other than the one in Asador. Lobby in general is a bit small but cute and trendy. I do not love the location off a highway and in the midst of 10 other hotels. We have stayed at the Anatole across the way but I prefer this place.
