Bitter coffee and bad/tasteless/cold food. The chicken pesto sandwich was just toasted bread with cold cubes of chicken and bacon on top.. I was the only customer at 8.30am which should have given a hint as to quality! (The building is really nice but the service people are rude!)

The salted maple latte and breakfast sandwich was INCREDIBLE and made exactly to order quickly. Everyone who gave a bad rating due to customer service needs to just chill out and let the barista work her magic - I sat at the bar and watched her churn out 20 different lattes with immaculate latte art and no mistakes. She said she's been doing it for 10 years and it shows. I'm definitely coming back.

Every time I visit Render’s Seaport location, I’m astonished that they are still in business. Their iced coffee is consistently terrible, with a disgusting burnt and bitter taste. The croissants are bad and lack flavor. I recently decided to give Render another try with an iced matcha latte, and received a drink that tasted exactly like a cup of plain milk. I kindly asked if maybe they could add more matcha, and while the barista behind the counter simply glared at me, the man behind the register fixed my drink for me. It tasted the same afterwards. Despite walking by this coffee shop frequently on my way to work, I will not be returning again.

food and coffee was great. A lot of space to sit and enjoy your food/coffee.

UPDATE—the manager reached out and apologized and refunded me for my order that day! Was so nice to see that they care about their customer’s experience and took the time to make it right. This location open fairly recently, about 2 months ago so I try to give it some grace. I work nearby so it was a pleasant surprise to have another option, as it is very limited in this area of the seaport! Pros: Great sandwiches, breakfast and lunch options, lots of vegetarian and even vegan options(hello impossible sausage and tofu cream cheese!!) reasonable prices (food only, I think their drinks are outrageously priced even more than flour bakery at the IDB down the street) cute inside if you want to hang out/work. Cons: Kind of odd area to access, although there is parking in the back near Pete's. Service can be veryyyyy slow, even when hardly anyone is in there. Like 15+ min--I think they have a kitchen in the back but most of the food is prepared behind the counter and they have one toaster. Not all the people that work there are friendly.... specifically one girl who hardly responds to a greeting. My most recent experience wasn't that great and this is after visiting about 6-7 times now. I ordered online on toast tab to pick up as I know now they take a while to prepare things and you can't call in. Walked over 20 min later. Said good morning and informed them I ordered online. I was promptly given my order. I took one sip of my drink and knew something was wrong. Turns out I ordered the wrong thing in my haste of ordering online. I wanted a plain cold brew coffee, I selected the malted cold crew coffee by mistake. I realized this and asked the young man working there if he could swap it out for just the plain one nothing else, he agreed and then went to charge me! $4.35 when the one I originally ordered was $5. I was so confused, I figured that was an easy and simple customer service fix/swap but he said because I ordered it online I had to pay for a new coffee??? I try to support these small biz's but even Dunks or Starbucks would have amended that request easily. It was simple too, not like a crafted foamed hot drink......just a cup of ice and coffee without the weird malt syrup. I was so shocked and annoyed. Breakfast sandwich was great as always but ended up throwing away the nasty coffee.

Finding great coffee in the USA is usually a major problem but the Latte coffee here is superb. Only here for a conference and 3 days in a row consistently excellent
