This bar has a neat vibe and welcoming atmosphere. I stopped in for a few drinks with friends and really enjoyed my time. The impressive part was the bartenders, I had Julie, when she asked what I was feeling I legitimately was not sure. So she asked for my flavor, I said I like whiskey, she followed up with do you want sweet, savory, refreshing, etc etc. I have never had a whiskey that was refreshing so taking it as a challenge I asked her for that, i didn't know what the drink was called but it was phenomenal. She is obviously very skilled in her craft and I'll continue to come here if she is tending.

The Rendezvous bar has it's own unique energy and vibe, triumphant over most of Flagstaff's varied competition. Being on the corner of the main intersection in downtown doesn't hurt, neither does the fact that it's in the Hotel Monte Vista, a historic monument in its own right. The crowd here on a busy Friday night was a sampling of what makes Flag so great - smart, friendly, happy patrons who make friends easily and will leave you wanting to return just to make more new friends. The Rendezvous bar crew's cocktail art is impeccable and their selection is also profound. Reminds me a bit of my favorite bar in Soho Manhattan....groovy in all ways.

Our bartender Chris, beyond amazing. Some crazy guy tried to wander in before he could ask me anything. Chris came up and escorted him out, his vibe, his personality. This is beyond customer service. This guy was outstanding. Cannot thank this bar enough, good people are hard to come by. This guy is a gem. Great cocktails on top of it all. Would recommend this place over and over again.

The Rendezvous is always an experience, coupled with the factor it's an extension of the legendary hotel Monte Vista!!! The recommended drink is the world famous (Espresso Martini), which is truly a delight for any season. This staff is always world-class. The perfect example of professionalism and to setting the standard of a highly elevated team.

Had some drinks, good espresso martinis 🍸 and my wife had the Diodea. Very good drinks didn’t have any food.

Stopped to have a nice drink. Tried 3 different ones, and they were all delicious. Sat in the back conversation area, which was very relaxing with a nice vibe. Bar area was hopping even at 4 pm on a Saturday. Would go again or encourage friends to stop by for the experience.

Great drinks can be busy and the drinks take a while to make but I think they are worth the wait! One of the best bars in Flagstaff!!

We stopped by during our walk around downtown Flagstaff. This place was a gem. I ordered the white chocolate latte, husband ordered a coffee with bailey’s Irish cream. We also shared a ?? Wedding. It was a cold tea and dry gin with whip cream. Thank you bartender for the recommended. Both Bartenders were very friendly and helpful. We will stop by next time we are in flagstaff. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice bar with multiple rooms each with their own relaxed, intimate vibe. The back room with chairs, couches and pillows kinda felt like visiting a grand living room. The neon sign for espresso martinis got us in and, gets a lot of people in by the looks of what people were drinking. You've got to deliver if that's what's in your window, and they sure did. It was right where it should be on coffee, alcohol and sweetness without overdoing any of them. Attached to a hotel in kind of an impressive way, wrapping the lobby in an L shape.

Awesome place. A guy and girl Bartender were openly flirting and grabbing each other which was a lil odd and slowed down my drinks maybe AZ doesn't have work place laws like Cali?? Idk If you walk downstairs by front desk tho there's a whole other bar with live music! And pool tables in another lounge . Pretty cool vibe even tho there was a snow storm that night

It's nice in here. I likes it. The bar area is lively either an assorted crowd. Good people watching. They have 2 of my favorite beers on tap. Next time I'll prob try a Pinot Grigio. I opted for the back lounge couch area. The bar was pretty full which I did not expect for a Tuesday. It's obviously a well loved spot. I found it very chill and just a cool welcoming vibe. This is a solid bar inside the Hotel Monte Vista. The bartenders are friendly and good at their craft. We tried the espresso martini, and it was worth it, as it featured both Mr Black (way better than Kahlua) and real espresso. There is a little seating outside just outside the main bar that has a nice ambiance with a lot of comfy couches to chill on.

LOVELY BAR IN DOWNTOWN FLAGSTAFF! Needed a drink to escape the rain, and after seeing the windows packed full of customers we thought this must be a good place! Drinks were a bit expensive, ranging around $17-$19 per cocktail. I felt like I was in Las Vegas with these prices! Although I will say our drinks were absolutely delicious. Ambiance was nice, and the place was popping. Service was a bit slow, but it was busy. All in all, I would come back.

Great service and a cool vibe! Enjoyed our cocktails and seeing the historic hotel. Bartenders were attentive even though it was fairly busy when we were there.

Rendezvous with an espresso martini or two! The espresso martini is clearly "the drink" to order here, as almost everyone who moseyed up to the bar ordered one...or two...or six! It's made with freshly brewed espresso! I saw them being made by the half dozen over and over. Lots of other creative craft cocktails here. Cool and lively ambiance, especially on a Saturday night!

I have a general rule when it comes to businesses I will or will not spend my money on. It is this. If a business is paying someone to chase paying customers away then they are too irresponsible to stay in business. The male bartender on this Saturday was condescending, rude and extremely unwilling to be helpful in anyway. Maybe I didn't fit a demographic he approved of.

Had some to kill this afternoon, so we tried four different cocktails and chatted with the bartender and other guests about local spirits in northern Arizona. All the cocktails were crafted with care and not thrown together. The bartenders knew their ingredients and could discuss their impact on the drink. I would definitely return.

Love this gem in Flagstaff. The staff is awesome. The ambiance is perfect for a late night drink. We always stop here when in town

Very chill atmosphere. Great drinks. We came because it was one of the few places open late in town, and we were not disappointed.

We are in the area and found this bar what makes it special is the bartender Caelan! Very professional knowledgeable well trained bartender. We have been to so many bars but he is the best.

Rendezvous was once the premiere cocktail creator in Flagstaff. Sadly that's not the case anymore. Most drinks run around $18, which is steep for even the most creative mixologist, but worth the money for the right drink. This is not the case here. I watched the person next to me order an old fashioned. Not a super complicated drink but one that, when done properly, still requires a bit of effort. The bartender slapped it together in about 20 seconds. My own drink, a whiskey chai, was drinkable but not something I'd order again. Sad to say I think I'll look elsewhere for a nightcap next date night.

Walked into Rendezvous after dinner for a drink and to flee the cold weather. Ordered a Whiskey Chai Great warm boozy drink for the cold weather!! Great service and nice atmosphere!

Super lame because we got "cut off" after two drinks..? Unsure if that's normal for Flagstaff? I was out with my MOM?? And we're laughing, having a great time and our tab is at $120... We were having a great time totally ready to spent $$$. Super weird, I guess you have to be silent and weird to keep getting served..? Don't smile or laugh or you'll be "cut off"... oh well. Saved me $50 since I didn't tip. Cutting me off on my 2nd drink on my 25th birthday is so lame! Oh well like I said I saved $50 in tips, I'm fine with it LOL. I'll keep my money happily! The women were so kind and happy to serve my mom and I. As soon as the night shift started the men bartenders didn't acknowledge us. Oh well. Less tips for you. Like I said other neighborhood bars were happy to get our business! Lameeeee AF, won't be back Won't be back and won't recommend! Lame vibes, Collins was happy to serve us all night

I 100% recommend this business very elegant good drink good food good service a relaxing environment and very knowledgeable you could test them see if they know their job excellent staff.

First of all, the drinks were horrible. Next, supposedly the bartender had questions about our age after WILLINGLY serving us alcohol and charging us first and NOT ID'ing us. Then, they called the COPS on us to verify an ID after scanning a brand new REAL ID and accusing us of having a fake. So, you WILLINGLY served us alcohol while simultaneously questioning our age, how ironic! How ridiculous! Obviously won't be back! I am sure Flagstaff PD loved the idea of serving people you supposedly questioned were under 21 before reporting it. Great job, Rendezvous! **Additional Info** Went back to the bar to gain clarification on the aforementioned events. Turns out we were being accused of "being shady" and trafficking. What a great way to spend your Friday, Rendezvous. Glad an engaged couple minding their business enjoying their own company can be harassed like that.

Flagstaff takes their coffee and cocktails seriously. Options are bountiful. We choose Rendezvous as it's conveniently located under historic Hotel Monte Vista. The dim lit lounge and Yung Thug cranking was a cue this would be a good spot. I ordered a whiskey chai. Perfect for a cold summer night. The drink was a hit with my crowd but way to sweet and heavy for my liking. It was like a meal replacement. If I come back to Flag I'd come back here without hesitation but would order something else

Great cocktails, there were a lot of options. Service was fast and the vibes were good!

Ordered the Fo Dog. It could be a bit more balanced given some ingredients added for effect can be bitter, but it was unique cocktail I can recommend someone who's adventurous. The service is amazing. Ordered the spring rolls and a classic bourbon whiskey old fashioned in conjunction with the Fo Dog. Spring rolls, specifically their sauce, is amazing. The first old fashioned was amazing, the second was not as well crafted, but it was also a different tender. The atmosphere was lovely - vibrant yet casual.

Awesome bar at the Monte Vista. It has more of a "mixologists" than "bartenders" vibe and great atmosphere!

We were looking for a cool cocktail spot and behold we walk into Rendezvous. First thing we noticed was the great mix of folks enjoying the atmosphere. The music was hip playing at a level that you can still a conversation. The lady bartenders were pretty fast considering how packed it was typical Friday I'm sure. I had never been to a spot that specialized in hot cocktails like the Whiskey Chai latte or the Smore Whiskey. This is where you want to be in a cold brisk night enjoying cocktails that warm you up and make you feel good. Get there early on a weekend so you can secure a spot before the party gets really rolling. They adjust the menu to match the seasons so make sure to swing by fall winter spring and summer. Located at the base of the hotel Monte Vista in the charming downtown area.

Great atmosphere! but be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes for a drink! Two bartender for a bar that is consistently 2-3 deep all night is ridiculous...

I love this place. We drop in usually after dinner to grab us some craft cocktails. And yes, they can make incredible cocktails. There is definately some truth in the hit or miss of the quality of service, but once you can get one of the people and ask for a one of the crafted drinks it is heaven. If you are wanting to come to some high end looking cocktail lounge maybe this isn't your place. If you are looking for a fun time with great cocktails try them out!

Great location and great drinks. It's tight but the bar staff is a well oiled machine and have a system down! Bartenders were super friendly despite the nonstop traffic. All ages not just college kids, espresso martinis were fantastic and full to the brim with extensive menu and many non menu drinks!

Drinks were great and the place is beautiful! Only issue was we waited an hour at the bar to get a drink while the bartender was putting in drink orders for his friends.

Diverse and playful cocktails, lively crowd and engaging bartenders. Dig deeper than the mixed but college heavy crowds vodka/red bull. Take in the menu and ask the bartender for a recommendation from the large menu.

Love to come here to wind down when we are in town usually bar hoping and having fun. The atmosphere here is more chill and casual but with more high end drinks. I usually like to grab a little high top by a window and people watch while sipping my cocktail or coffee. I have never been disappointed by either. & if you aren't feeling fancy they also have some beers on tap. This place does get really packed during peak hours but if you can make it in between its really relaxing. I even brought my 3 year old son in with me one night after dinner and sat in the sitting room next to the bar where I saw other parents with toddlers and no one batted an eye at any of us. If you haven't stopped in here before, you definitely should.

A lively and welcoming bar with a great selection of cocktails, martinis, tequila, and bourbon. This bar has a fun atmosphere and friendly bartenders regardless of the time of day or the weather. I love thé street view as well as the dark and cozy sitting areas. It is sure to provide a great experience for meeting new people or having a blast with your own group. Enjoy your night out!

The perfect place to rendezvous. This hotel bar might just be one of my favorite spots in Flagstaff. We stopped by New Years Eve day for a few fancy cocktails. This mairtini bar is pretty expansive with table top, lounge and bar seating. We opted for the lounge area in the back and visited the nearby quickie-stop to purchase a deck of cards. I ordered the Ginuwine's Pony: Cruzan white rum, green chartreuse, lime, pineapple, creme de cacao, and Aperol float.. It was absolutely terrible, but this was largely due to my immature taste buds. I also tried their spiked chai, which was a huge hit amongst our group. Playing cards on their comfy couches while drinking toasty beverages made the snowfall extra magical!

This place is pretty cool. For a dark, chill bar to grab a drink and take in the vibe of Flag. The picture shows the first drink I ordered, which was some hot drink with a marshmallow on top...it tasted like burnt fire. So I went to the bar to ask for something else. These people are Not friendly. I was told by my friend it's because the bartenders are annoyed with tourists and only like locals --then live in a different city dollface, because Flag will always be a tourist spot! Get over it! For the management who reads these reviews: tell your bartenders to get the stick out of their ass, the men & women, NONE of them were friendly. But your drinks are damn tasty and the ambience is the only reason I might be back.

What a sweet hang for a sweet lil town. Flagstaff, cool little hang in a haunted hotel.

Each time I've been there, the bartenders have been nothing but professional and super friendly! They get things done in a timely fashion and never fail to impress me with their service and willingness to make unique drinks! The atmosphere is super great too! It's low lit, super sensory friendly, and it never feels too crowded. Even though it's a small space, I think it's a great place to hang out! Overall, amazing bar

Although the staff is good, the owners make this an impossible place to enjoy anything. If the prices are this high, then the experience should match. The employees follow the direction of the owners who are inconsistent. Additionally, we locals know how they treated the staff during COVid. Absolutely inexcusable. Just remember the people who work for you are WHY and HOW you make money. Also your clientele, if you treat them awful, you won't have a business, especially in Flagstaff.

We make it a point to stop in every time we are in Flagstaff. Virtually every cocktail includes unusual ingredients that I don't recognize, but everything is balanced, interesting, and delicious. Great collection of tasty after dinner/dessert drinks too. Beautiful, historic space. Comfortable lounge, lots of seating options, big bar. Engaged, efficient bartenders. Really, everything you want in a cocktail experience.

This has quickly become our favorite late night spot when we are in flagstaff. This is the spot for good drinks, especially if you like coffee/coffee cocktails, good service and good people watching. Located in the historic Monte Vista Hotel this is the place to go for a nightcap.

We love coming to Rendezvous when we're in town. It's fun to sit up at the bar and watch the mixologists, but it's also great sitting near the windows and people watching inside and outside. I've enjoyed every drink I've had!

One of my favorite cocktail lounges; espresso martinis are amazing, ambiance is very nice and laid back & I've always had great service when I'm there. It can get pretty busy at times so you might have to wait a little for a drink but it's to be expected when you choose a spot that is often pretty popular. Can be a bit pricey, but you're paying for quality ingredients so it's worth it in my opinion.

A good selection and they were willing to try making an obscure drink when I gave them the recipe. Not all local bars are open to trying new recipes.

Love this cocktail bar and the drinks here are spot on good. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to cocktails cuz the Big Apple has spoiled me rotten with excellent places, so my bar is pretty high. This place makes the cut and the night we were here, all cocktails were $10. A handsome couple was sitting next to us and honestly I couldn't stop looking at the gorgeous woman in the pair. Definitely she was SE Asian, tall, lanky. Possibly a model...just wish there were more good looking people in here to flirt with... Maybe better luck next time, or I'll just have to fly home to NYC to get my eye candy fix.

Drinks are strong. Bartender is so nice! Young, tall male slingin' killer drinks. The 1st photo is the hot girl summer drink and second is the natures multivitamin. Chill music, lots to look at, people watch, very awesome old time hotel and bar serving great drinks and coffees. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Since it was raining we happened to stop in for "Just One". The bartender was perfect in his recommendations and his Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned were perfect.....so good we had to have another round! The feel of this upgraded hotel lobby bar is comfortable and cozy with comfortable couches and chairs. The only downfall is the terribly high prices of the drinks, our two rounds were more than the dinner we ate at another establishment afterwards. Stop in and grab a drink, just don't spend too much time there or you'll have to refinance your house.

We didn't go there with high expectations, but when drinks were $25 a pop, we expected quality. Not only was one drink subpar, but the other one we ordered was partially premixed. We travel for quality drinks and have no problem paying for them. The issue is the fact that they charge super premium pricing with pre mixed ingredients and low quality execution.

Great food. Great drinks. If you stay for more than one cocktail you will get kicked out and charged a $600+ bill. Enjoy the ambiance.
