Great beer and space. I’ve been a long time fan and can’t wait to see how it shakes out after renovations are complete.

Google
I liked this bar, it was pretty trendy. They had some really nice brews, I had a peach sour which was excellent! The place was really heaving with people on Friday night. There were some food trucks and we had some rather excellent Peruvian meat sandwiches which complemented the beers very well. There was quite an eclectic bunch of folks here. Would like to come back during the day when a little less busy.

Google
Prices are great and the service is excellent , you need to support a local brewery like this one .

Google
Great place with a a really good vibe. Meet one of the owners, and I really liked this place. If you have not check this place out, I would recommend a visit. Not to mention their IPA rocks!

Google
Parking was difficult to find (obviously it's Denver) Ambiance was great, I love the little patio. The bartender was short with us and couldn't answer any of our beer questions. We purchased a 750ml bottle and a 12 oz bottle. The Bartender poured our drinks for us but my husband and I were given equal amounts and she didn't give us the rest of the 750ml bottle when I asked. Very frustrating to feel ripped off.

I would say third time is a charm for Renegade Brewing. The products being sold are world class along with the staffing. I had the opprotunity to meet with Chris this last weekend and taste some of their finest pours. I will be back. Joey G.

Google
Great atmosphere and good beer. Not a large selection but I liked everything I drank. Street parking looks tight but I was lucky and parked right across. Food trucks often, not disappointed. Plenty of tables. I noticed they are Very dog friendly. Also, the only brewery I've been to that had a "watering" station.

Google
Renegade has a really nice hazy (New England) IPA, crisp, nice hops, refreshing. Friendly knowledgeable service, open-air chill vibe. Only strike is rotating food trucks…not really an issue, can’t blame them for not messing with a kitchen (stick to beer, it’s good!), but just not what gut wanted today. Loads of food options on Santa Fe to soak up tasty beer. Wish there was more time to try everything on draft and get name on board, but the triple IPA (11.2% ABV) is a commitment!

Yelp
Came here to get a beer before our escape room appointment next door and service was great. I had the pilsner and my partner had the saison. Both were great. Love the vibe here and the plants. It was a 60 degree sunny day so the door was open and it was just beautiful out. They have food trucks as well but we didn't order any food today. I saw they also have non-alcoholic beer (not sure if they brewed it or if it's from another brewery, I didn't look close enough) which is awesome and I wanna come back for that because I'm so curious how they taste!

Yelp
2.5 stars. My friend and I walked to Renegade after working out nearby. It was a random weekday, and I'm always down to try somewhere new, especially when it's not busy. But honestly I was disappointed. While the bartender was nice, there wasn't much selection on tap. What I got wasn't memorable, and what stuck out the most was how rickety the benches were. Sad to say I'm not interested in coming back again.

Yelp
I tried to come here and there was a private party going on. My fault for not checking. Came back the next day and got my beer. I ordered a flight of four beers. I enjoyed 3 out of 4. The Palisade Beach Sour was out of this world. I liked the taproom. Service was good.

Yelp
Love!!!! Such a great experience at renegade!! We were staying in downtown Denver, hopped on a scooter and headed down to the Lincoln Park neighborhood to explore. Looked up breweries in the area and we are sooooo glad we chose renegade to stop in. Cute little outdoor patio Small, maybe 20 seat indoor seating, 10 at the bar Delicious beers on tap (and seltzers) and small food items like popcorn, pretzel and I think I saw pizza on the menu. The waitress behind the bar was so bomb! She came out and chatted with us and it was just a friendly, cozy neighborhood brewery feeling. Majority of patrons seemed to walk or scooter there but I did see metered parking out front. Such a cute neighborhhood!! We got caught in a passing 25min storm and it was perfect under the patio canopy, sipping a beer until the storm passed. We will be back!!!!

Yelp
Pretty great beers, wish they had more of a selection but there's enough to choose from! There is not a ton going on in that exact area but it's close enough (walk or scooter) to a lot of bars near Capitol Hill. Definitely recommend checking out

Yelp
I recently moved into the neighborhood and was excited to try Renegade Brewing Company. My friend and I ordered our drinks, the beertender asked if I wanted to keep it open or close out and I opted to close out. He did not hand me the iPad after running my card to select a tip or verify my purchase and did not offer me a receipt. I assumed there was a no tip policy or else something was up. I immediately looked at my credit card app to determine how much I was charged. For 2 beers @ $7/beer my bill was somehow over $21. So, I started looking for signs that said something about automatic gratuity being added to your bill and saw nothing. I decided to go up and ask the other beertender for an itemized receipt and he printed it off for me. The initial beertender had put the 2 $7 beers on my tab but also added 2 $1 stickers and gave himself an almost $5 tip. I did not receive or purchase stickers, nor did I get to select the tip amount. The second beertender asked me if everything looked right and I explained the situation. The second beertender voided the initial transaction and ran a new one for just the 2 beers. I added a $2 tip, even despite the situation. The second beertender was extremely nice and tried to come up with a potential explanation that someone with a similar last name was also ordering things; however, I literally purchased two beers and closed out immediately so there could not have been room for such a mistake. That being said, I reallllly wanted to like this brewery and make it my neighborhood go-to, but right now I have such an icky feeling about the place after being taken advantage of. While the beer was good and I am grateful for the second beertender righting the situation, I feel like I cannot trust that I won't be taken advantage of in this way again by the establishment so long as people like the first beertender are employed there. I'm hopeful that this is an isolated incident but it feels like the way it was handled that it's not the first time it's happened.

Yelp
I was heartbroken walking up to find them terminally closed. Such a staple for this neighborhood and a phenomenal atmosphere. Will miss them so much!!!

Yelp
Good service, good atmosphere, good beer/ seltzer, and dog friendly as well! I was happy to be there and will be happy to go back!

Yelp
Yummy beer. Cute staff. Nice guests. Cool music. Great location. Tasty food trucks. Dope taproom.

Yelp
Cool little craft brewery spot in an artsy neighborhood. The bartender was helpful in assisting in selecting a beer for me and was spot on when she said she knew what I'd like! I'd recommend a stop here if in the area/neighborhood. And I'll make it a point to check it out again myself. It is basically a huge garage with some indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
After grabbing some food nearby (at Chuey Fu's) I decided a cold brew was in order to stop by Renegade Brewing Company to check out what they had on tap! The Space: Love the exposed brick walls and beams! The building is formerly a Dr. Pepper distribution center and they do well preserving the character of the building. Outside they have a cute little sidewalk patio with tables, umbrellas, and water misters for those hot Colorado summer days. They ARE dog friendly on the patio. So make sure if you bring your furry friend, you enter through the patio and leave Fido outside. The patio also features a large roll up door that allows that warm Colorado weather to come in. The Staff: Everyone was very friendly. As soon as I grabbed my seat at the bar the beertenders offered to assist me. Since it was my first time here, I decided to grab a few samples to get a few for their brews. I browsed the menu for a few moments and made my sample decisions. The beertenders checked back with me to ensure I was satisfied with my choices and also to offer me any additional samples. The Brews: I chose to sample three of their beers during my visit: Party McFly (pale ale), Covfefe (oat ale), and the Pancakes (maple porter). The Party McFly was a bit darker than I expected for a pale ale, but still tasted quite light. Next time I'll def have to try the Tarty McFly. Mmm... You had me at tart saison. I had a hard time making out the flavor notes of the Covfefe. Now the Pancakes was delicious! You could smell the sweet sticky mapley goodness as soon as you went to take a sip. While I don't usually drink porters in the summer I could totally see this beer accompanying a savory brunch. Looking over the tap menu, I did note that they feature several double and even a couple triple IPA options. Wow! Too heavy for my taste, but not something I can say I've seen before. If you're a connoisseur of the IPA style you should probably check out Renegade Brewing Company for sure! The Merch: They do feature a few swag items including trucker caps, glassware, shirts, tanks, work shirts, sunglasses, tin signs, and of course cans to go! The Eats: While they don't have a kitchen of their own, they do feature a rotating line up food trucks including: Pasty Republic, Lincoln Park Street Eats, Rocky Mtn. Cheesery, and Taco el Haquito. Weekdays the trucks arrive around 5pm and weekends around 2pm. So don't fret if you come hungry! Denver's food truck scene has got you covered! Renegade Brewing Company is def worth checking out if you're in the area. Can't wait to stop back in for those ukulele lessons! Yaasss!!! **Pro Tip: They do some great events and pairings (like ukulele lessons on Tuesdays and girl scout cookie pairings). Follow them on Facebook to stay in the know!!

Yelp
Stopped in here for a beer while waiting for Rocky Yama sushi down the street to open. We had a pineapple sour and a cream ale, both of which were delicious and our server was very nice. Cute little place!

Yelp
The gift that keeps on giving...hubs and I won a "free beer for a year" (aka a growler fill each week for a year), so needless to say weve become very familiar with their beer. They're usually pretty busy on weekends before 4:00 but slowdown a little after. We usually take advantage of our free fill by grabbing a pint or two. Our go tos? 1916, 5:00 afternoon ale, pancakes porter, and a recent BA Saison. Food wise, they have a few snacks (popcorn and chips) but not much beyond that. Several folks order 'za from Denver Pizza Co and staff are also ready to offer a recommendation. Overall great place!

Yelp
Renegade is a fun, little tap room just off Santa Fe near the Art District. The place was hopping with everyone having a brew and socializing. The other thing I noticed was the absence of a television; I like it. We stopped in there for the Girl Scout Cookie and Beer pairing, which was delightful. We all agreed, they were all good but a couple stood out more than the others. My personal favorite was the Lead Stout with the Shortbread Trefoil. And if you get a little hungry, there's a food truck parked right outside. Of special note: for all you dog lovers, the patio is dog friendly :-)
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
Good beer and fun atmosphere. For a small brewery they had a decent amount of both indoor and outdoor patio seating. Pretty good beer variety too. In fact, if you go to this brewery, your only limitation for options would be parking.

Yelp
Taprooms are plentiful in Denver and Renegade is a good one! I ventured here to catch up with friends on a Monday night. It was rather empty which was good for me because I was able to grab a seat at the bar and taste away while waiting for others to arrive. There was only one guy working but he was able to handle the crowd with ease. The space itself is pretty no frills with some seating at the bar and a handful of tables. In the end, I opted for some of their main brews, the Consilium Pale Ale and Redacted Rye IPA. I'm no beer snob, but I can say that I really enjoyed all of these, as well as some of the other unique ones I sampled like the Bicycle Chai White Stout. You can order most in a variety of sizes and it won't break the bank. They don't serve food and didn't have a food truck on this particular evening, but my friend had pizza delivered from a nearby restaurant straight to our table! Beer, friends, and a cozy space to enjoy it all? Renegade's your spot!

Yelp
We tried Renegade during a frigid snowstorm; while other bars were closing early due to the cold, we had a warm welcome at Renegade. The cider, hot pretzel, and popcorn (no joke!) are absolutely amazing and a must-try!!!

Yelp
We stopped by here on a Sunday evening to try another spot on our Denver Pub Passes. The place had a really chill vibe and the bartender was super friendly. I was happy with my order but my boyfriend wasn't crazy about the beer he got. I would recommend this brewery for someone looking for a quieter, relaxed atmosphere.
google avatar

Kelsey B.

Yelp
I went to Renegade with a friend for drinks, and they have a pretty good selection. They had a red ale with earl grey tea that was AMAZING! I highly recommend it if you enjoy tea. Everything I read online said they had food trucks stop by around 2pm, but there weren't any today unfortunately. We were able to order grub hub which worked out, but it was confusing based on what we have read online.
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoy the Wit(h)Passion and Summer Tan double IPA and both are perfect for our tastes!! I believe a brewery where I only need to sample like 3 is worth it to find it in 2. Love the ambience, totally chill. Would totally come back!!

Yelp
This had been on my list of places to try. So, the other evening, when I was looking to grab a beer, and I noticed that a couple Yelp friends had recently checked in here, it was an easy decision. The vibe here is a little different than most of the similar places I have been to. This is not as divey as Strange Brewing, and not as "family-oriented" as say Elk Mountain or Lone Tree. I would categorize this place as more young-urban/trendy. It had the roll up garage door/window. It had a clean and modern look. It had nice tables and chairs and associated board games to play. Like similar establishments, you bring or order in, any food you might want. The beer was also significantly more eclectic than other places. Although you could still get a Pilsner or an IPA here, they seem to do them with a twist, as well as doing some rather unique offerings. I tasted the barley wine and the coffee infused strong ale. Neither was what I was looking for in a beer (at bit strong), but they were definitely interesting and I can see why they have their fans. The blonde ale (what I finally ordered) was very tasty and drinkable. The bartenders were friendly, attentive and cute.

Yelp
Ok so this place has beer, a food truck outside and it's dog friendly?! Um, let's officially just call it heaven for now mmmk? Went here on a Friday night and it was booming! They had a good mix of people-I wasn't in complete hipster paradise for once so I was happy. We got a flight of beers so we got to try a eight of their beers. I don't even know where to start with their beer--I pretty much loved every single one. Since I was a few beers deep in by this time I really can't tell you the names or what kind they were .Sorry friends, I'm not taking notes on a Friday night because my priorities go to the beer drinking but I can say Renegade definitely knows what they're doing. Some that stuck out in my mind was a chocolate/peanut butter stout, a poblano beer and their IPA (totally hoppy and smooth), I will definitely be going back here again to check out their beers. They don't have grub at Renegade but there was a Vietnamese food truck parked right outside--even more reason to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Introduced to this spot by friends. Tasty beer on tap. A full range from IPAs to saison a. Their E3 Elevation is legendary- 11.7% ABV. Stuff is no joke! They do firkins regularly- some pretty interesting flavors on tap. Only thing that would make it 5 stars is a TV and maybe some more standing space.

Yelp
A brewery I can walk home from? Yes, Please! I had the pleasure of touring this cute little brewery on a nice summer Saturday. Colorado has some amazing breweries and this is one of them. I will say their Redacted IPA is my favorite. I loved all their beers though. Maybe because it was a hot day and I couldn't stop drinking them but hey, you make a good product and it's hard to stop. :) Our tour guide was really passionate about working there. I wish I remembered his name but he said that he had started as a volunteer and spent so much time there that they eventually hired him on. I loved that. You can tell that everyone there loves working for the brewery. Right now, they only serve 3 states but I wouldn't be surprised if we see a growth by Renegade. Stop in and support this brewery because it's awesome. If you buy the beer directly from the brewery, you get a discount if it's after your tour.

Yelp
First time here. Nice little neighborhood brewery walking distance from our Airbnb. Friendly people in the place. Good selection of brews and merch. Love that they have a dog friendly patio. Good atmosphere and good music. They have food trucks on various nights, unfortunately not the night we came in. Nice vibe here.
google avatar

Alissa D.

Yelp
This brewery is right off the beaten path of the Santa Fe Arts district - if you're in the area, it's worth stopping in. Their beers are yummy and intriguing, featuring descriptors like "maple", "peanut butter", "ginger", "lemon" and "blood orange" in their lineup. Try a flight if you're not sure what to get, you can build your own with as many or as few as you'd like. They plan to host a regular rotation of food trucks in the future, so be on the lookout soon for good eats to round out their beverage menu.
google avatar

Lorrie M.

Yelp
I liked Renegade brewing for the simple fact that they had a huge list of beers. However, I didn't really think their beers were superb in comparison to a few other places in Denver / CO area but the atmosphere is great. They have a large selection of random board games that will keep you entertained into the wee hours while you spend your life sipping away. We had the whole shebang in terms of tasting flights. We did both the pilot and the co-pilot flights and both were okay. I think I liked the pilot flight better since their co-pilot flight had some very funky experimental IPAs, some of which tasted like ... well, not an IPA. The staff was friendly, the brewery dog was cute, and overall great little spot in Denver to visit.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
This place is great. Beers are pretty great. Very nice bartenders and owners. Every time we go there it is packed. No beer is outstanding except for Depravity which they only release once a year. This beer is outstanding. Def will bring people here from out of town.
google avatar

Ann F.

Yelp
I only picked to go to this place because I liked the name, so I had no expectations. Chris was awesome at explaining all the different brews. I probably had more than I needed to, but it was all so fricken tasty! I will for sure come back and make sure I have an Uber.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
I came wanting to do the tour but this location is not the site for the brewery tour. This tap room was pretty big and really clean. Service was friendly. They have board games. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Free street parking. Tasters are pretty big and run from $1.50-2.50. Pints are cheap, $5 for any brew on tap. The beers we tried were very tasty. Brewery stop #2!

Tracy W.

Yelp
The beer is made on site by an excellent brew master! The variety is excellent - great spot for friends to meet. Love the neighborhood too. Great customer service!

Yelp
Nice brewing co close to my son's home. They deemed this one their favorite. It was a nice place to sit and have a beer or drink. I'd definitely stop back in the next time we are in town.
google avatar

Beckie C.

Yelp
Great location in arts district. Friendly and intelligent staff... and amazing beer! We loved 1916, My Name is Earl, Berbere, and summer tan. I don't think we will buying Fat Tire again... all RENEGADE!
google avatar

Kate F.

Yelp
Everyone that works here is so unfriendly. It's especially noticeable that the owner himself is os uninterested in his customers. Brewers tend to be a fun bunch of people -- but this owner, his name is Brian, is cold and reluctant to talk to anyone. What a miserable guy. You can see the effect on his staff: they are all cold and surly. Not a very welcoming place. The beers are mediocre, and there are so many other breweries in Denver with friendly people serving delicious beers. Why bother with Renegade?
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Denver has done it again with another fantastic brewery! They have a great selection here, and their IPA is especially amazing. It has a relaxed and down-to-earth vibe. The staff is friendly and very upbeat. In the afternoon when it's less crowded, this place is good for catching up with some friends over some good beer. The only thing is that I would have liked more food choices, as good food often goes well with good beer.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
What is there not to love about this cozy neighborhood brewery. The beer is delicious, the vibes are relaxed and the music is always keeping the mood jubilant and buoyant. Infectiously happy people and a cast of regulars make this my favorite brewery on Sata Fe!
google avatar

Yelp
I have to say they have the best beers out of all the different breweries I visited. Staff was super friendly. You can bring in your own food. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
"It's 5 o'clock somewhere" plays in my head while drinking a pint of the 5:00 ale. I'm a simple woman, as you can tell. But the beer is anything but simple: 5:00 in Bangkok, "afternoon ale with lemongrass and ginger". So really, it's less Jimmy Buffet and more Murray Head. So there. I like beer, but I don't like what beer does to my stomach the day after. Therefore, when dancing with the devil, it better be good. Renegade's 5:00 was good enough to have two pints! Really living on the edge over here in Denver, right? The guy working the taproom was super friendly and I love how much sunshine comes through the glass garage door. You'd hardly think it was a February afternoon when I was there - it felt like May. But then again, it snows here in May, so you never can predict the season or weather. Overall, solid beers, really nice people and in a cool 'hood.
google avatar

Alice Q.

Yelp
Enlighten me brewery! Grab a happy beer on a happy hour marathon-- lots of cheap prices, spent $10 for heaven, we came out here after taking tests at school, so having the privilege of seeing a brewery down the street from my campus, the one thing I recommend to try again in the future was the oatmeal pumpkin stout, very creamy and the taste of pumpkin was sturdy, and the perfervid of the wood panels just left me curious for trying their whole selection. I enjoyed the happy hour price: cheaper than a meal-- a lot cheaper of $3 for intake, while its originally $4 a glass. Not bad. The parking is a wise technique for profiting from bicycle parking, not so much of a fan of the lot across the street, as I wouldn't recommend the risk of getting towed. Overall a genuine experience and I'd totally would be back again.

Yelp
While Colorado has so many breweries to choose from I have to say my summer tour of breweries hit a highlight when I went to Renegade! It was only open just three weeks when we went here and did not actually 'catch on' yet so we easily got a table to sit down at. We had an awesome wheat beer and a chile beer which had a nice kick to it! Everyone was very friendly and of course I had to get a T-shirt to commemorate the great beer! A second attempt was made to try to go there but by then it 'caught on' and there was barely standing room only which sent us out the door to find a place less populated. This was on a Saturday so probably going there then may not be the best time to go if you want to sit down and chill. Renegade is indeed one of my favorite microbrews... so I don't really need to say to go try it!
google avatar

Liam M.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere good polite bartenders and I had the Free to Roam APA which was excellent. Very cool on Santa Fe Art Walk night with garage doors open and food trucks everywhere!! I need to move back to Denver
google avatar

Keith B.

Yelp
Okay, six weeks ago I had to skip Renegade on my Denver brewery tour (time constraint, and I think they had a band playing or something? Either way, not enough time!). This time I popped in while my brother was at work. Not a bad brewery! I really enjoyed both IPAs (their Rye was nice) and the King of Spain mixture wasn't too bad, either. Luckily, I snuck in to the last seat at the bar, because like the other reviewers say, it was *crowded*. The staff is fast, the beer was flowing, and the clientele was friendly (even when I got called out for wearing my Ohio State University shirt :D )
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Renegade is a fantastic little microbrewery, in every essense of that word. It's small, and a little bit off of the beaten path in the arts district. It's a good bike ride from the city though, which means you can drink a bit more than usual as well. The beers are truly great, and they take a few chances with an ancho chili beer (that has no spice but full ancho flavor) and a lighter coffee beer, which is outstanding. Their Russian imperial stout rivals any that I've tasted. But the prices actually steal the show here, $3 during happy hour and $4 normally. Get the tasters as well if you're in for trying them all. $1 per taster and they're HUGE, almost a half pint. The owners are doing a great job creating a local product for a great price, which is sure to keep up their growing following.
google avatar

Kenny N.

Yelp
Oh you beer nerds. Thanks to my friend's insistence, I'm slowly discovering that I have beer preferences. The Redacted Rye was my overall favorite for it being an IPA, possessing a high IBU count, and great rye flavor. I enjoy bitter flavorful beers that must be sipped to be enjoyed. Easy guzzlers and coffee roasts are not my style. Thanks to their highly knowledgeable staff, I also learned why I received a strange look in Berlin, Germany when asking for a bitter beer. Their beers possess a low IBU count and feature weisse yeast lending that distinct banana note to the beer. A couple Renegade beers struck out for this reason, but if you like bananas, there are some excellent selections here. Notes: Others have mentioned its dog-friendly. This is great for people like me - dog lovers who don't love a dog. They also have board games next to the restrooms. And, they regularly have food trucks like Matt's Snack Shack.

Yelp
Some friends and I were in the neighborhood and decided to check out Renegade after another brewery fell a bit flat. What a pleasant surprise it was! E and I had gotten a Renegade sampler pack a while back, and we really liked their Hiatus (coffee stout) and Hammer &Sickle (RIS), but I found the rest of their beers to be way more hop-forward than I generally like. Because of this, I think, Renegade never really showed up on our list of breweries to try when we moved back to Denver. Well, my hoppy palate must be returning, because I really enjoyed two preeeeeetty hoppy beers at Renegade this weekend. I started off with the Summer Tan, a Double IPA with tangerine, and loved it. Not only did the name start my daydreaming of sunshine and vacation, but the beer was an absolute delight. The juicy citrus paired so well with the hop-forward base, and was absolutely perfect for swilling on the sunny patio. However, at 8.5%, it's a beer that, when coupled with sunshine, is guaranteed to lay you flat in no time, so my next pint was the more gentle Consilium, a pale ale with orange peel. In truth, the two beers are like different intensities of the same base, and I liked them so much that I see at least one six-pack of each accompanying me on our annual Lake Powell trip this year. This place is smaller than one might expect, given the prevalence of their beer on the local liquor store market. I can imagine it's quite cozy (i.e. cramped) when the weather is cold, but when the patio is available and the garage doors are open, there's plenty of room. Dogs are allowed on the patio - having left ours at home, I cozied right up to a friendly Husky - but be prepared for little shade, as the patio is south-facing and gets a LOT of sun. In other words - a perfect winter patio! Verdict: Loved it. We'll be back, and I'll also look on their beers more favorably next time I'm in the liquor store!

Yelp
Nice range of IPAs in a tasting flight to kick off the evening. Old school tasting room. The piney West Coast IPA hit the spot for me. Amusingly the food truck was serving messy and delicious gluten free arepas to go with my gluten packed beer. Bit like having a diet coke with a burger, lol.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Everyone that works there is super friendly and they always say "cheers" when they hand you a beer. Its little things like that that really makes an establishment stand apart from the rest. Where was I.. ah yes the beer! The Summer Tan ipa is sooooo delicious! My wife (Karen) is not a big beer drinker but even she will have one of these bad boys! They are seriously so tasty I could put down like 10 of them if my wife would let me!!

Yelp
I've been following Renegade's progress after hearing about their recent opening a few months back. So I was over the moon that I was finally going to get an opportunity to try their brews during a UYE Brewery Crawl. Located just west of Santa Fe on 9th Ave, Renegade's found some prime real estate! The bar area is roomy with plenty of seating. This allows large groups, like ours, to make themselves comfortable while sampling all of Renegade's creations. For $8, you can sample all of this brewery's libations. Seven flights in all, definitely a good deal! Although I didn't order the flights, I did try Renegade's blonde ale. Not too bad, not too great, but certainly a decent beer. I felt it needed a little sumin' sumin'. I commandeered a few sips of a few other brews. Everything was A-OK. The only beer that stood out, without question, was Renegade's chili pepper poblano ale. I didn't like it very much, but everyone else at the table did. I found it to be extremely interesting and completely different. However, I don't think I could drink a pint of this brew, just a taster for me. Renegade's got some serious potential. I look forward to trying their beers again as they develop their style.

Yelp
This place is great, and just my speed. It's in a great location with enough parking around to find a spot without getting flustered. There's enough seating here to be comfortable, but if that fills up, there's enough bar space to stand around, enjoy their sweet brews, and not feel like an awkward standing spectator of sitting patrons. Their beers get progressively better with every visit. Since they're relatively new, this makes sense. It just means I'll have to keep trying them out--for science. The brown ale as well as the IPA are fantastic, and they have a great bank of windows so you can sit, sip, and enjoy watching the Crossfit people next door do power sprints back and forth past you... Why would they power sprint when they could just as easily pull up a chair, order a fine beer, and join us in our relaxation and enjoyment? Sillies. But really, this is a great secret of Denver. This place is great, but it doesn't seem like a lot of people have caught onto it yet. A lot of their business consists of growler fills, but more people need to realize the joy and flavor delights of Renegade. They know what they're doing, they're super friendly, and happened to find a fantastic spot to set up shop.
