No frills clean massage salon on Bowery Street in Lower Manhattan/Chinatown that gets the job done! I struggle with stiffness of my upper back and when everything else fails, I turn to back massage at the Renew Day Spa 2. It runs me $55 per hour plus $11 tip and for $66 in cash I dance out like a swan with my back as straight and relaxed as can be and my blood circulation running like a Swiss watch. My favorite specialists are James and Lucas, but I think I've been lucky enough to have a great massage everytime I pop in. Thumbs up 👍

Peaceful,clean,great massage i did the 60 min body & 30min food hot stone was included. I had a horrible knot in my right shoulder she (Yoyo) took her time and got it out. I also added in the Cbd oil absolutely loved it. Amazing service. Will be back again. Thank you.😊

This place is definitely not worth it. They had a sign out front that said $28 for an hour-long foot massage. Upon arriving, we were told it's $45 per person per hour and that the sign was old. It was a long day of walking, so we moved forward with the foot massage. I wish we hadn't. I told my guy I'd like harder pressure on my feet, and the massage literally felt like my 2-year-old was rubbing my feet. I asked him several times to please apply harder pressure, which he said ok to, but never did. If I wasn't with my other daughter, who was also getting a massage, I would've just walked out, but didn't want to embarrass her. I definitely would not recommend. This is who I had. Loved this place! I originally booked at their Renew Day Spa location and accidentally went to this one. They said it was fine and that I could have the same appointment here. The massage was amazing and so worth the price! 75 minutes for $65! Released a lot of tension. I am definitely going to come back again and make this a thing I do more often. I do wish I grabbed a punch card that I’ve heard others talking about. I’ll try to get one next time.

I had a one-hour full body massage and it was exactly what I needed. The therapist was incredibly skilled, with the perfect balance of pressure and attention to detail. They took time to check in with me beforehand and made sure I was comfortable throughout. From head to toe, every part of the massage felt intentional and restorative. I left feeling totally relaxed, with all the built-up tension in my body melted away. The space was peaceful, clean, and calming—overall a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be returning! Gabbie was amazing!

Had a massage here on Friday night, with 75 minutes head, back and foot massage. It was a great experience and Dylan did a great job. Definitely will come back next time.

Lucas was great! He was very concerned with my comfort and would check with me every so often to ensure I was comfortable and/or the pressure was good. What a little gem in the middle of Chinatown this place is. I would definitely go back again when I'm in town.

For the native New Yorkers, you know this is THE OG spot for budget friendly good massages. It's crazy how much this business has grown! Clearly they are doing something right. The challenge I'm finding because they have so many masseuses is the inconsistencies of skill level. It's one of those situations where you sort of just have to look through their Yelp page to see who has good reviews & giving it a shot until you find the best one that suits you. The last time I went, I forgot the names, but my bf and I went together and they were just OK below average didn't walk out feeling good. I went again this week and Emma was my masseuse, for the most part she did a great job!! At times I didn't love the elbowing , but overall it was good, and I did feel light when I left! If you're going, take the advice to pick someone that is highly reviewed on this page and go from there vs going in blindly (which you can also do bc maybe you'll get lucky!).

My go to massage place for the last 2 years. As I grow older, my back pain is starting to kill me. I come here once a month. It's clean friendly and affordable. They open late, make sure to call for appointments on busy days like the weekends.

I came here for my birthday since I was the pricing was cheaper than at another massage place I'd gone to before. The reason?? You pay in cash. Keep that in mind when coming here. They are definitely very thorough and professional in their work and while I wasn't used to getting as much massage work done, I definitely felt I got more than my money's worth. Once my financial position is better, I'd definitely come back though you will be going outside to get to a different building for the massage itself.

They have this many 5 star reviews for a reason! Anna was my masseuse and she was AMAZING. This is by far the best massage I have ever received anywhere. The pressure was intense, but I feel fixed. I came in with so much pain from traveling nonstop for a month and one massage fixed me right up. It's so good I am making my way back once more before I leave New York. 10/10 best massage ever!

Very reliable, a go-to place. Pricing is very fair and staff is responsive to requests. Keep in mind the foot rub included in some of the packages is just that--a foot rub. For reflexology, they offer separately.

Love that this place takes online reservations! It makes finding time super easy. You get to choose your massusse's gender, and what sort of hardness you want. The receptionist is quick to welcome you, and your masseuse comes get you very quickly. There's a first and basement floor with many foot massage and body stations. I went for the full body with a CBD oil add on ($55 + $10). My masseuse, Winnie, was able to accomodate my problem areas and modify her strength based on my areas of concern. There was a bit of hot stone massage and scalp massage too at the end. Place seems very clean and smells good! Also, make sure you lay down on the paper thing and not under it! Easy mistake for newbies like me

This is my 2nd time here. Amazing massage for the price. Beautiful & clean space. This time they took me outside, and then to the basement of the building next door (sketchy I know). But it was well worth it! The space is quiet and very peaceful, perfect atmosphere for relaxing. Only thing I don't like is paying an extra 10 bucks just for aroma therapy oil.

Great massage! I get massages quite often and I am very picky with pressure and professionalism. Although the store itself feels a bit dingy, the massage was amazing! I had a very strong female masseuse who seemed quite knowledgeable of the human anatomy. I got 45 min body and 15 min feet and enjoyed every second of the massage! Happy I found a good massage spa in NY. Will definitely be back.

Really great value! I came here with some girlfriends for galentines. The masseuse here are very thorough. It's surprisingly huge place and very modern considering the affordable price. There's a little lack of privacy in the sense that its just curtains/thin walls separating the clients but if you can look past that, you'll have yourself a very good massage, just focus on the music. Pro tip: bring cash for a discount, they have ATM inside but take credit card as well

Clutch to be able to have a dependable and legit massage place in New York, though it can be a bit out of them way out in Chinatown. Equally recommended to visitor friends and longtime natives. They offer consistent good quality and thus are fairly popular, so do call for appointments ahead of time or prepare to put your name down & come back after an hour or so of moseying around in Chinatown (not a bad thing!). Arrive early if you need to use the restroom beforehand as there's only 1 single stall per floor. I hardly ever have to request more pressure or adjustments, so it seems all the masseuses are experts at what they're doing (tough spots to focus on, maintaining your preferred pressure). Take down the name of those you particularly like so you can see if they might be available for your next time. Note it on your frequent stamp card--after 10 hourlong sessions, get 1 free! Also if you think you might appreciate 90 minutes, just book the 90 minutes!

I come here once and month for a full body massage and DEMI is a life changer. She knows exactly where your knots are and makes you feel like a different person when you walk out. Make sure to make an appointment with her when you have a chance! $65 for 75 mins is such a steal.

Came in for some Reflexology. It was perfect. Wonderful practitioner. And the chairs are spaced in such a way that you don't feel crowded. Really glad I found this place.

I always make same day appointments and they will always have something that works around your schedule. Got 60min body with Nicole and she knew what was doing. Loved the pressure and how she communicated with me throughout my session. When you come, make sure to get their loyalty punch card as you'll get 11th massage for free :)

Came here as part of a girls' day with my bestie. Its located close to the B/D train and by many restaurants and shops. I got a one hour body massage by Vivi and she did a great job getting all my tense spots. The place is clean, spacious, and has great prices. I would recommend coming here!

Got a 30 min foot massage for $30 and it was wonderful. Definitely worth it. And after a full weekend of walking the city I highly recommend

100% recommend. Getting a couple's massage WITH add-ons here was cheaper than a basic massage for one person over in SF. The value is absolutely unbeatable. The salon itself is well-equipped and clean. This was also one of the best massages I've ever had. My masseuse was tough and communicative -- making sure I was okay to continue in more sensitive areas along my shoulders and back. I was pleasantly surprised by how long the 60 minutes felt. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Great experience for more of a budget spa in the area. They offer different combinations and I opted for 75 mins inclusive of body, head, and feet. They'll take you downstairs into the basement which is nice because you don't hear street noise. However, the people in the section beside me kept talking which was annoying. I would definitely come back and they offer punch cards for rewards.
