Reno's Pizzeria & Restaurant

Came here on my last night in LA. Very accommodating. Ordered a large meat lovers ended up getting the extra large on the house. You probably won't get the true taste of NY pizza nonetheless it's pretty good and great value.

I was working close by, decided pizza sounded good for lunch and im sure glad I picked this place. Some of the best pizza ive had. On top of that the owner is probably one of the coolest people ive met. Real friendly and even hooked us up with an XL half meatlovers/supreme for the price of a L. Will definitely come back just for how welcoming he is alone

There are no words to describe the atmosphere here!!!! This place is THEE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT EVER! It beats all the big advertised named restaurants!! This place is AMAZING. IF I COULD RATE THIS PLACE A BIGGER RATING THEN 5 STARS 🌟 I WOULD!!!! THEE BEST. THE WAITERS ARE GREAT THE FOOD IS GREAT THE PLACE IS!

The one of the best places in LA the Philly cheesesteak is really great. You have to try it also the pizza one of the best very nice people working in this business. I think this business established many many years ago so they know what they do.

Small place packing a BIG PUNCH! Great pizza and food and wonderful people. Came Highly recommended and I pass that recommendation on. It’s is very good. Reno’s Supreme is yummy and cooked to perfection. The lasagna is simply delicious.

The crispiest, most delicious wings, the cheesiest tastiest pizza, and the all time best Philly cheese steak sandwich I have ever had! My son doesn’t even like Philly cheese steak and he tried to eat the whole sandwich! The gentleman I placed my delivery order was so sweet and comforted me that it will be the best and he did not disappoint. We are visiting from AZ and I will make sure the come here every time we come back!

A little pricey, but the food is solid. Closest I've found to Philadelphia quality cuisine. I know everyone has an "East Coast Place", but this one is mine. Pizza and steak sandwich are the way to go. Low rent atmosphere, perfect for flip-flops and great to bring the kids or meet a pal for lunch, but probably not for a first date if you want to make an impression.

We are from Reno and when we saw this place we were like it has to be a sign. For the review the service was amazing so friendly and a great sense of humor. Food the Lasagna was pretty good I enjoyed the sauce. As for the Pizza it wasnt the greatest like the guy said not enough sauce on the pizza. I then paid with card and he is like you dont have cash. I thought I was going to get jumped by the mob. Hahahaha jk all in all I would go back again.

Bomb food and even better service! Fantastic place to relax and have some authentic Italian food! Highly recommend!

For either eat in or delivery gluten free pizza, this place ranks top 5 for sure. Really just a solid Italian spot overall. But for call-in delivery service especially, they're quick and well priced. Ate for two with a three topping gluten free pizza, side salad, plus tip for about $25. Totally beats any delivery app. Been a local pizza spot I've ordered from for years and they're definitely quick to deliver.

The last time here was about 20 years ago, after a concert at the Hollywood Bowl with friends, we were hungry and the place looked right for what we were looking. Then we loved the pizza!! Now 20 years later the place was still here [that should be the first clue] and it was fairly full, so Why not? The same vibe, friendly service, great humor... and the pizza was really good, thin, but not crispy... very nicely presented..... We will not wait another 20 years to come back. I promise!!

I love the service here - it keeps me coming back. Nick is the best, and everyone else is great too. An authentic charm and humor that shows pride and care. The prices are great for the pies and sandwiches and I look forward to trying more things off the menu. Having tried all the pizza in the immediate area, I feel that this is the most classic style pie, closest to the breadth of standard NY pizza I've eaten, at the best price. The ambiance is classic Italian pizza & sandwich joint with old school touches that I'm glad haven't been hyper-modernized. The experience going here between the crew, the food, and the place itself is a sort of comforting nostalgia. Would recommend!

This place doesn't get nearly enough hype that it deserves. The food is absolutely amazing and this is coming from someone who is really picky about pizza. Every time we come the service is so amazing. It's one of those places that just makes you feel at home, not trying to sound cheesy or anything but it truly does.

Meat lovers pizza is always my go to pizza here. Owner is always really nice, and always gives my kid a free drink. Thanks for that.

The food was so good! It has such an authentic Italian feel. We had the barbecue and Marguerita pizza and the Italian salad. The owner and servers were so attentive and checked on us regularly. I hadn't had really good pizza in a while so it definitely hit the spot!

Pizza was amazing! the crust was on point & the customer service was awesome definitely coming back to this delicious location ! This was probably the first time i didn't need to add pepper flakes or cheese on my pizza

Super disappointed by this place. Mt friends and I have been ordering pizza and chicken tenders from this spot for years but last night was the last time. I paid almost $100 and the pizza came folded on top of each other as if they held the box sideways as they delivered it to my house. The chicken tender order was pathetic. Maybe 5 skinny little slices of chicken in the Togo box. There's too many pizza places these days to be spending that amount of money and be so let down.

Good food does not always have to be from a high end expensive restaurant. A well concealed restaurant with no fancy decorations can deliver great food too. This restaurant was such a restaurant. The owner provided us with some comic relief. He recommended the most delicious pizza I've ever had - half Chicken Fettuccini and half Renos Supreme. We also had a Caesar Salad and a Spaghetti Bolognaise with some Garlic Bread - Yum. We will definitely be back to try his suggestion - Steak Sandwich.

I was so sad about how they treated us. First of all we waked in and nobody paid attention to us. The person at the front then said "it's to go right" like he didn't want us there. I was so disappointed.

I think they have one of the best Philly cheesesteak in LA. Like always everything perfect. Fresh food very nice people. I love this place.

NIICKK!! Nick is the guy. He was very helpful and had great customer service. We told him we wanted pizza and he suggested half chicken alfredo half Reno's supreme. Both are absolutely delicious! We also got a garden salad with Italian dressing, again delicious and fresh. We will 1000% be back if ever passing through the area. Thank you Nick!!

The pizza is amazing. That's our favorite thing at this place. So many things on the menu but have never been satisfied with anything else but the pizza. So 4 stars because at least the pizza is on point

I've come here a few times now. I get the gluten free pepperoni sometimes I add sausage. I just moved to the area and it's been hard finding a good gluten free pizza that isn't super thick crust. I did come here and got a Philly cheesesteak that my partner ordered. He's from Chicago and he wasn't really impressed. The fries were also a little soggy but I would definitely recommend the pizza because it is good.

I don't think I have enough good things to say about this place. I've been frequenting this place since I was little. My parents would drop me and my brothers off at our aunt's apartment, where we'd do all sorts of activities while she babysat us, but almost every single "sleepover playdate" at our aunt's culminated in an evening at Reno's. We'd go here and then visit what used to be a Blockbuster-type of DVD store and rent whatever movie we'd watch that night before we went to bed. Safe to say, I was raised on this pizza, we'd get it with that aunt on my mom's side, and with family on my dad's side; every occasion that was possible to order-in was Reno's. Even as I grew older I knew this place was just better. I'd eat all sorts of other pizza at friends parties, sleepovers, playdates, into high school even going out with friends and eating at their "spot" was never as good. For my money, I think it's very safe to say that this is the best pizza in LA. I love this place, it's a part of my personal history and I can't appreciate it enough. Everything on their menu is fantastic too. I've tried everything over the years, it's seriously all amazing, I don't know who's in the kitchen but they deserve the world for what consistency and shear magnificence in cuisine they've provided me, my family, my friends, and the couple dates I've had here. The pizza is obviously the thing you get here, but everything they offer is an absolute knockout; try it all because you won't be disappointed. I will never be able to say enough positive things about the best Pizza in LA. The city of angels wouldn't be the same without Reno's.

Words alone cannot express how wonderful this place is. We have been frequenting it for 20 years now and have never had a bad experience or a menu item that has had a "bad day". Of course, we just love the owner. He is always joking around and very friendly. Our favorites here are the meat lasagne, chicken Schnitzel, and pizza. If you've never been here, What are you waiting for? Give it a try. You'll love it!

Reno's been in Studio City for a long time. Italian food, more like a pick up place for me since the decor it's lacking, looks like a bathroom to me. Don't expect anything great here, it is mediocre, pasta dishes and pizza. My pepperoni was just OK, on the greasy side. Pasta-s are a tad cheaper here, pizza not so much. Parking lot, more like a neighborhood spot. But there are better options.

Nah to the pizza. Cardboard crust and flavorless. The pasta dishes look good. Maybe I'll try again.

I literally live 5 minutes away from Reno's restaurant and have only been here 3 times in 25 years. I live in Studio City myself. I haven't gone there in so long that I even forgot about this lovely, yummy restaurant. I went there on May 9th right after my massage appointment and there is nothing that I didn't like about this restaurant. First and foremost very welcoming by the owner Rubik and his staff. 2nd let's discuss the food! Super delicious in every way. A bit salty for my taste, but I am NOT going to duck a star for that. I ordered their Margarita pizza with mushrooms and a meat ball sandwich. The sandwich was soooooo delicious and sizzling HOT that the cheese, the meat ball melted in my mouth and was so good inside that fresh, hot french roll. I also substituted the side fries with salad with ranch dressing. Even the lettuce was so fresh and good. How wrong can you go with the salad?? In the past I have tried other types of pizza, salads, sandwiches and pastas. Everything always tasted DELICIOUS, FRESH AND HOT!!! Delicious food, great customer service, nice ambiance, clean restaurant including the bathroom. Also food came out pretty quick. Love their art work on the walls and their cute bar. Can't wait to go back and try their other dishes that I haven't had a chance to try yet. Will be back very soon!:))

Had pizza delivered, was hoping for better but the crust/dough was very chewy and not very enjoyable. Also, prices listed online vs actual cost did not align.

Decent place to order from but I'd prefer not to watch Fox News while eating in the restaurant.

Gluten free pizza is meh. Sparse on the toppings. Restaurant is completely empty. Could be because they are playing Fox News on their TV. Not returning here.

The restaurant itself is nice, and they even have arcade games such as Donkey Kong and more! The restaurant is kept clean and so are the bathrooms. The food was delicious! The pizza was good, the wings were good, and so was the sandwich. A really good spot, no matter what you get you will enjoy! The service was good. Although, there was only 1 waiter. Luckily there was only about 2 dining in customers when I went, but if it was more crowded im not sure if they would have another waiter. Our server was really nice though, and kept us happy and satisfied! The food did take a while to prepare, but that's okay it was worth it! YUM!!!

I usually call ahead to order lunch at the Studio City location. The steak sandwich with fries is the bomb. In 20 min it's packed and ready like they said, never have to wait. Food is very good,

SOOOO GREAT. FOOD... wait. (below) SERVICE. Let me start with the service, because it means a lot. CALLED FROM MALIBU for a pickup, and not only did Reno's understand it would be a while, figured out the time so the pizzas would be fresh and hot when we arrived. After the drive from Malibu, I got there a little early, so COVID style, I just waited in the car - and they brought it out when it was ready! It's about 20min drive from my house, but I WILL BE BACK to eat this menu! LOCATION/PARKING. It's in a mini mall at the T-bone of Tujunga and Ventura. If you've never been here before, it's right there at the intersection. PLENTY of parking in COVID time, but there's also street parking for your pickup. There are tables and chairs outside to eat your pizza if you can't wait to get home with it. FOOD. It's been a long time since I had a sauce with enough oregano and garlic in it. THEIR SAUCE IS RIGHT ON THE MONEY! CALZONE. (MEATBALL & RENO'S SPECIAL) This is a really good calzone. Coming from the Bronx, I have to admit - It's not "New York", but it hits all of the right marks. I wish there was a little more ricotta in the Reno Special, but the Meatball Calzone had a great cheesy balance! (And if you're a fan of a meatball calzone, this is a great meatball version). The Reno Special is FILLED WITH GOOD STUFF. I usually just go for a cheese calzone. So you know it's important to have a good SAUCE. THE SAUCE IS SO GOOD! Get extra sauce. I didn't know how good this was going to be. If you're not a calzone dunker, this sauce will convert you. GLUTEN FREE PIZZA DOUGH (CHEESE & ONION) My wife is pretty severely gluten intolerant and we've had SO MANY different types - THIS ONE IS GREAT. It has a chew like a pizza should. Other pizza places might have a dry GF pizza crust or something too sweet (too much tapioca), this one has what you'd expect from a dough - and - the sauce. PIZZA (RENO's SPECIAL SUPREME?). Put away the menu. Just get this one. Get it. COVERED. COVERED. COVERED in toppings. Check out the photos. They care about putting the toppings on a pizza. Some places just throw the toppings on - and you know - sometimes they get it right. BUT DAMNNNNNNN - - someone at Reno's made sure that when you pull a slice it isn't missing some of the toppings. Extra toppings? Good price the Reno's special has everything you need tho. SIZE - - THE LARGE is a proper large pizza. STAY TUNED. I gotta head back for their pizza gondola thing... And a sandwich.... AS LONG AS IT HAS THAT SAUCE IN IT.

Came to Studio City for a couple of days and this gem was in walking distance of our AirBnB. The pizza was true NY style pizza and the price was right. Very delicious, perfect thin crust, and fresh ingredients. The older man helping me was very kind and humble too. Highly recommend!

They have great service and food! I have tried several items on the menu and have been very satisfied with all of them. I strongly recommend you try Reno's Pizza.

I tried Reno's for the first time the other night and I don't see the appeal. The prices are comparable to many other actual pizzerias (not talking about Domino's, or Pizza Hut), but the quality/taste is subpar. Some reviews here say that Reno's is "scrumptious", or "some true Italian pizzeria", but I disagree wholeheartedly. Fernanda's NY Style Pizza is a couple of blocks East down Ventura and they are hands down one of the best pizza places in the Valley. They're authentic NY pizza, their prices are reasonable, and the quality of ingredients can be tasted in their food. My friends and I ordered an extra large sausage, olive, and basil pizza from Reno's and we all found bits of some calcified fragments when eating our slices; likely bone from the ground up sausage. That's disgusting! Reno's tag line is, "You haven't lived unless you've tried Reno's", well I don't suspect I'll live much longer if I continue to have Reno's. Hard pass.

Fantastic place. Nick is the greatest. Ordered six huge pepperoni pizzas for our kid's birthday party. Delicious. Arrived hot and stayed hot. Everyone was asking us where these amazing pizzas are from. It's pure New York style. Great sauce, excellent cheese, a perfect crust. This is a studio city gem not to be missed, thank you Nick.

Quite honestly even better than expected. The crust was perfect and the sauce... such flavor! I ordered a large which was more than enough for a party of three. We had left over slices so I could have probably ordered a medium. It was so good, however, that I'm glad we had leftovers. Tastes just as good warmed up the next day. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat and stumbled upon this pizzeria. The service is great and food is delicious! Will be back.

Amazing and kind neighborhood pizza guys! In the pizza biz since my husband was a kid. And , delicious past with meat suave. Kids gobble it up!

Was underwhelmed by this place. I came here after 2pm and missed out on their lunch specials. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and a soda that came out to about $16. When I received my pasta, I was like, where's the rest of it??? The portion I was served was more like a lunch portion. As for service, there practically wasn't any once they bring the food to you. I was never checked on if my food was ok or if I could get a refill on my soda. As for the taste of the pasta, it wasn't bad, but the spaghetti was on the soggy side. I like my pasta al dente with a little chew. This one tasted like the pasta was sitting in water for a while or it was left overs from the lunch rush. Either way, I would have enjoyed my pasta more if it was freshly made and proportionate to the price I paid.

I didn't feel like going out and getting anything, so I used Yelp and chose Reno's. I ordered a Chef's salad and a spinach, feta, mushroom and chicken calzone. I grew up in Rhode Island with Calabrese and Sicilian Italian families. The first and most important foundation for any Italian restaurant is the sauce, (or gravy). Before I ate the salad, I tried a little piece of bread in the sauce given with the Calzone. I knew instantly I was in for a treat. They have the best sauce I've had since being back northeast. The Chef's salad wasn't a typical pizzaria salad where they take a head of lettuce and smash it in a box along with old tomatoes a chunk of onion and the lettuce core. It was a mix of lettuce with fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and little rolled up pieces of turkey and ham with mozzarella cheese inside. Beautiful. The Calzone was amazing. I didn't have to ask for well done crispy, they just did it. The ricotta and mozzarella combined with the feta was a perfect combination and the fresh vegetables matched with the grilled chicken was sublime. Great food. Great prices and great service, (within 30 minutes and very funny and personable).

Terrible. I'm Eating DRY Eggplant and DRY spaghetti. Not to mention it came COLD and they forgot 1/2 our order . After waiting an hour. Go to Quickies . Cheaper and wayyyyy better !!!

Reno's is my go to for really good pizzas and more. I haven't had anything that I didn't like. I haven't tried everything but what I had, has been great. Very friendly staff.

Ive been coming here for a very long time about 20+ years . I love this place like my own always friendly never need to say what i need to order they already know what i like. Customer service always on point 10/10 place . I highly recommend this place to go with family friends your love ones. Best place ever . Im very happy that theres a place like this .

Delivery came on time and order was correct. Friendly delivery guy. I got a gyro and a large pizza. I don't recommend the gyro. Little dry, bland, and they didn't give enough white sauce. If you must have a gyro, ask for 2 packets of sauce. It was pretty big. The pizza was good. Crust was same as Costco pizza. I'd say it tasted similar to Costco, on par with Costco pizza.

Clean. Sanitize. And amazing pizza, have been here couple times before tried pilly cheese sandwich was amazing. Pizza is so good with thin crust to perfection Wine and beer! What else do you need! Love it

Our first time here and it was super good! Salad was fresh pizza was hot and fresh, fettuccine was so delicious, the guys there have up excellent Service ,The place was super clean and a nice decor, glad we came here,!!!!
