This place is definitely an experience.... the general ambiance is fairly romantic (while leaving enough room open to be a corporate affair. ) The servers outfits are adorable and the drinks were fantastic and interesting. Our server (loni? I hope 🤣) was very knowledgeable and kind. We definitely will return again

Fantastic spot for a nice date night. The Brussels and Japanese eggplant were excellent. The NY strip was a bit chewy, so wouldn’t recommend that. But everything else was great. We loved having Sarah as our server, she was very attentive and had wonderful suggestions. They also had a great whiskey selection, including Eagle Rare, which my partner was excited to see. Would recommend and will be back the next time we are in Savannah!

Wow! This one is worth the visit. Everything we had was excellent. Chicken wings were very tender and juicy .New York strip had a lovely flavor. Potatoes and Brussels were excellent. Probably the best Brussels I've had. They did them quite nicely. Not too much sweet, just enough crisp. Yum.

Beautiful dining room, ambiance was excellent. Service really was top notch. The dining room was not very busy but did seem loud. We had the oysters which were very fresh, preferred the Carolina over the Canadian as they were more flavorful and bigger. Wings were very tender and juicy. Heirloom salad was really over the top good and light. Grilled octopus was very tender and the sauce was delicious. Not a single issue with the service and food. Don’t forget the hot sourdough bread!

My husband and I came here for a date night. We loved the ambiance. The food was so delicious! . We had the roasted bone marrow, southern schnitzel, and shrimp and grits. They have great drinks too. Great service as well!

This restaurant is so exciting and fun to be at. The atmosphere was so great and just a brilliant place to spend some time. I don’t drink, but I wanted to just sit at the bar and admire the whole atmosphere. We started with Sourdough Bread and their butter was a piece of magic, not sure where they get it, but that was seriously great butter. The Brussels sprouts were average great starter and a favorite for us where ever we go. We had steak with creamed spinach and a horseradish sauce. The steak was decent and the creamed spinach was fantastic. The Horseradish sauce I could not really taste the horseradish so was not a feature for me on the plate. The Service was great,our waiter was attentive and wanted to make sure that we had a great evening. As it was our anniversary they provided us a dessert that was great. I loved this place and would highly recommend it as a great place to have a meal. Would add it to your list of places to eat when you are in Savannah.

Charlie! Came in for happy hour and we were amazed by the professionalism and competence of the amazing bartender Charlie. We ordered whiskey sours, old fashioned drinks, and my wife got the best Vespar Martini she’s ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop in for great tasting and even better priced drinks.

Everything amazing! We were looking for a place with lobster rolls in Savannah and finally we found it!!! The Salmon with cauliflower risotto, out of this world. Cocktails on point. Service amazing:) give it a chance you’ll not regret it!

We started with two interesting cocktails, Miine was described as Smoke on the Harbor, made with a cocoa infused bourbon,banana, and a cinnamon Demerara.... an Old Fashioned variation... warm and tasty. The Great Gal enjoyed a Pear Pleasure, using pear vodka spirit. She loved it. Both very nicely poured by Caroline. Whipped ricotta toast was our hors d'ouevres, accented with a sautéed broccolini, pistachios, and drizzled with honey. Very, Very tasty!!! We then split an almond crusted halibut. I will just write, "Ohhh, myyyyy".... We capped our dinner by taking their dessert of sugar crusted donuts and two cocktails to go to carry back to our Airbnb. We learned that in Savannah having a ToGo alcoholic beverage is totally ok. Not driving, mind you. Our ToGo drinks and dessert were served by a very personable gentleman, Jason. He shared insight about a number of the beverages, bitters, tinctures, and infusions they serve here. This has been a delightful visit.

Food was ok!' I felt it was bland and cold!! The pork chop had great flavor but the cream on the side did not go with the dish!! The collard greens were good but also cold!! Drinks are very expensive for what they were!! Service was good she was very attentive!! Ambiance is pretty cool. Neat location and how it was setup!!

I think I just ate the best meal of my life! Seriously. I had the Southern Schnitzel. Ah-Mazing!!! My husband had the Ribeye and he too said that it was very good. You just can't go wrong with the food here! The atmosphere is very chill and dim lit. The staff are all very friendly. Our server was Sarah- she was super awesome and on point! Treated us like friends and not strangers. Very attentive. Can't wait to go back. Parking - There is a parking garage one block away! Easy parking!!

Amazing service from Carolina, Charlie, and Ader who had the best recommendations! The overall experience was amazing and the we went 3 times in just a few days! It's that good! The whipped ricotta app, Brussels, and octopus were a huge hit. I would recommend the main dining area for the full experience, but the staff catered to our needs and allergies as well. Kudos to the chef! Late night happy hour with food is awesome too! Cannot wait to come back! If you come to Savannah it is a must!

Nice place with incredible service. Charlie took really good care of us. Great long bar and architecture inside. Food was fantastic. Had the southern schnitzel which was chicken based and excellent. Lots drink and wine specials. All the sides had really good southern components. Definitely eat here.

Had a great time for my anniversary dinner at repeal 33. The service was top notch and our food was perfect.

While walking around in Savannah we decided to stop in at Repeal 33 for a drink and appetizer. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly/helpful bartender who guided us through the menu. The vibe was chill, warm and cozy. For an appetizer we ordered the Elote and it was some of the best Elote I've had in a long time. The appetizer portion was a good size to share with my husband. This Elote tasted soooo fresh and so did all the ingredients. My husband ordered an old fashioned with Buffalo Trace and he said it was really good. Since we were bar hopping we didn't stay long and headed to our next destination. The food and service were so great we'll definitely come back for a full meal.

Before anything, thank you Caleb from Blown Studios! Had it not been for him, I wouldn't have even known about this gem of a place. That said, I went there being told that the Old Fashioned and that the octopus were to die for, so what did I go ahead and do? Order exactly that! As it stands, I went in without a reservation. Fortunately for me I was alone and snagged a seat at the bar, where I was attended by Charlie, Christopher, and Mark. All very nice people by the way. Anyhow, ordered the Old Fashioned that they're known for, the one with bone marrow, and this was out of this world. Yes, sipping on it at first was a bit odd, but the flavor snuck up on me and I loved it. It was the right amount of bittersweet if that makes any sense. The octopus I then had was so fresh and delightful that I had it all. I'd have ordered something else off the menu, but I had a reservation at a nearby dessert restaurant and didn't want to use all my stomach space for the savory stuff. Had I done so, I'm sure anything else would have been amazing. The ladies next to me had the scallops and the sight alone was heavenly. Definitely a place I will return to next time I find myself in Savannah.

While staying at the hotel next door, I found myself in the mood for a cocktail. I took a walk next door to Repeal 33. I was pleasantly surprised by a great looking bar and incredible service. I love a darker bar. They had great house cocktails each night, that actually had alcohol in them. Along with the cocktails were great happy hour items, snacks, and starters. This place wasn't even on my radar, but I found my self going back a couple of times. Each time I had a great cocktail and some great food. The entrees looked amazing as well. Repeal is certainly worth a stop.

Great service and happy hour! I was looking for a place to have an early dinner and found Repeal 33 on Yelp. The restaurant is located a stone's throw away from Broughton St. The restaurant was dark but still pretty casual. I sat at the bar and got the bartender's polite and attentive service. I ordered the grilled brussel sprouts and wings from the happy hour menu. The wings were good but the brussel sprouts had chunks that were too salty (hence -1 star). Would go back if I were in the area again!

Loved it! Husband and I went for Saturday brunch. Easy to make reservations. I was surprised it wasn't more packed because this place was so good!! First, service was amazing. Hostess was very nice, and our server Melissa was outstanding! She was so personable and recommended food options. I ordered the whipped ricotta toast which was amazing. Then I ordered The 33 (subbed grits for bacon home fries) and my husband got the burger. I don't usually order a basic meal like potatoes, bacon, toast and eggs-but this was so good!! Bacon home potatoes were a home Run. Husband loved the burger. We will definitely be back for dinner

Our dining experience at Repeal 33 was absolutely exceptional. The rustic, prohibition-era atmosphere was both inviting and energetic, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. Rhett, our server, was outstanding--providing fantastic details about the menu, making perfect recommendations, and being genuinely friendly throughout the night. One of the highlights of our visit was Rhett's persuasive suggestion to try a unique cocktail featuring bone marrow-infused bourbon. Initially, I was cautious, but his enthusiasm convinced me to give it a try, and I was extremely pleased with the result. I even texted fellow enthusiasts about the adventure during the drinking. In fact, every inventive cocktail we sampled was superb, showcasing the bar's creativity and expertise. The appetizers were another highlight. The Alsatian Flatbread was a delicious start, followed by the Street Corn and Grilled Octopus, both of which were incredibly flavorful and expertly prepared. The Southern Schnitzel, featuring crispy thin breaded chicken, was a must-try dish that exceeded our expectations. Additionally, their take on Shrimp & Grits was a scrumptious nod to a southern staple, perfectly executed. Overall, Repeal 33 impressed us with its blend of inventive cuisine, expertly crafted cocktails, and exceptional service. Rhett's detailed knowledge and friendly demeanor made our dining experience truly special. If you're looking for a dining spot that offers a unique twist on southern cuisine in a lively, rustic setting, Repeal 33 is the place to go. We can't wait visit Savannah again and Repeal 33 will be our first dining stop!

Excellent quality food, generous portions, highly attentive knowledgeable and friendly staff! When ordering straight liquor such as tequila "on the rocks," there's an option for a "big rock" -- a single large cube or traditional ice. Nice touch to a classy, well-run place with a chill vibe.

The food didn't really impress me enough to return. I tried the grilled cheese, chicken wings, and street corn, along with a Swing Sour drink. While the customer service was great and the atmosphere was charming, it's just not my vibe.

This is fast become my favorite restaurant in Savannah. I happened upon it while traveling for work a few months ago and have changed hotels so I can be nearby and walk when in town. Great happy hour specials, wonderful old fashioned, oysters, terrific salads... bartenders are terrific. I really don't think you can go wrong with this place.

Holy cow delicious food!! Great drinks! Amazing atmosphere! Phil was our waiter and awesome !! So attentive and knowledgeable! We had the halibut and scallops! Get the Brussel sprouts as a starter !

Service was excellent! Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The apps and drinks were all good. I had the halibut and my hubs had the shrimp and grits. Both excellent choices. So glad we made reservations earlier rather than later as it was filling up fast when we left. The noise level was normal. The restaurant has unique architecture to it. The only thing I think is a potential negative is the prices for the food is comparable to the area but the credit card processing fee was a bit over the top.

Amazing restaurant in Savannah! One of the best! I am sad we had not tried it earlier! We made reservations. Which I believe was a smart move. The place was full! The decor is really cool. Service was spectacular! Our waiter Hunt was very attentive and had great suggestions. The food was what we came for, and it did not disappoint! We started with the shrimp cocktail. The peach cocktail sauce was really good. Then the fried brussels. They were super flavorful! cooked perfectly. For the mains we got a burger and the chicken schnitzel. That burger and fries were one of the best I have ever had! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The Chicken was really good too! A ton of food! We left here full and happy! I cannot wait to come back again and try more of this menu!

Solid upscale gastropub... I found Repeal 33 while in town for work... Very good and super chill environment. The restaurant is half pub, half high end French-ish style cuisine. The mussels were out of this world delicious... Some of the best I've had. The mixed lettuces salad was also excellent. For the main, I got the halibut... It was good, but a touch over cooked (about one minute less on the pan sear and it would have been perfect); it came with a succotash, which was a bit different, but still good. You can tell the culinary team is well trained by the eclectic menu and creative presentation. Our server Rhett was outstanding, which made for a great meal... I'll definitely stop back when in Savannah again.

The service was great. We had Phil as our waiter and he was very attentive and helpful. He was also a joy to have and communicated well that he wasn't rushing us, how the kitchen would work, and answered all questions with detail. However, I feel like the food took a long time to come out. We ordered appetizers (sourdough bread, cold shrimp, and the bone marrow) and they took an oddly long time to get to us that the bread was cold. Our entrees also took a long time but those came out hot, which was nice. My party seemed to enjoy everything they had with the favorites being the bone marrow and the crab roll. Only complaint about the crab roll was that it was "too small". We also ordered the wings, the schnitzel, and some fries that were above average but just missing one thing. The restaurant is also very nice inside!

Our 21 year old son decides this is where he wanted to celebrate his birthday. What an excellent choice! First, a thank you to Sarah P our awesome server whose eyes are a work of art and she has a beautiful personality to match. We had the charred wings as an appetizer--yummy! All the entrees were GREAT! The ribeyes were so tender and cooked to perfection. I had shrimp and grits--delicious but rich, must have been all that creaminess. The fish of the day was very good and our final choice was a flatbread and salad (size is shareable). We love the look of the restaurant and seating is comfortable. I'm not sure why a fishy smell greeted us at the door. We either got used to it or it was only in the front near the hostess stand. The bar was a popular spot with many drought beers available, signature cocktails, and wine. Give this place a try, birthday or not!

Dynamite ! After trying out several places in Savannah, Repeal 33 became our favorite restaurant and bar for dinner, drinks and Sunday Brunch. The food was amazing and so was the service by Charlie, Max and Emily. This restaurant has a large bar section and a good beer selection. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Our first time in Savannah and this was truly a GREAT welcoming. Our waiters name was David and he was a walking chef de cuisine! He was so knowledgeable in the menu and definitely steered us in the right direction. We started with the octopus appetizer which was fabulous. Then onto the main entrees - the seared scallops and the souther schnitzel was just the "southern" touch we were looking for. OUTSTANDING!!

Solid dinner spot on our Savannah trip. Dark prohibition type ambience with a side of a barn aesthetic. Service was solid and on top of it. Food was all really good. Appetizers were all great --we had 4 in our party of 3 1/2. . We had oysters with house sourdough bread and super tasty butter mixed up in house. Also the wings and house duck flatbread special which was amazing! Steak was cooked perfect to order and scallops were super tender, large, and on a tasteful bed of risotto and butternut squash puree. So good! Burger was huuuuge. Few nice Mocktail options for those trying avoid alcohol which we appreciated. Wine selection was also nice with glass and bottle options reasonably priced. Variety of seating options indoors from booth to high tops to tables {and high chair for littles}. Solid choice all around.

Cozy environment and definitely a must for reservations on the weekends. The drinks are fantastic but $$$. The food is just lacking though. We tried three appetizers (Charred wings, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, and the street corn) but I felt like the flavor could have been more. We all ordered an entree (two had pork chops and one had the saffron) and we all felt the same way. Like there just wasn't that much flavor and it should have been more prominent in the dishes. The food was expensive for what was given. Either they are short staffed or service is just slow. It took 20 minutes to be given water and service from the waitstaff and everything else was just as slow. I probably wouldn't go again but also encourage people to try it if they're interested. One thing to note - the staff made it clear to us that they weren't family friendly. There were 3 tables with young kids near us and it was just a bizarre comment to make.

At this trendy spot, you'll find an eclectic mix of artsy patrons creating a lively atmosphere. The service was exceptional, especially given the late hour, with attentive staff making sure everyone felt taken care of without hovering. The Candelera Margarita was a standout, and I had to take on for the road (thank you, Savannah!). The oysters were fresh as one would expect, while the chicken wings were crispy, and packed with flavor. A great place to unwind at the end of the night, enjoy great food, and soak in the vibrant ambiance.

We took a break from the sun and the heat and dove into this super cool, trendy and very dark establishment and by dark I mean wow... to go from the bright sun to this barrel lit place was shocking at first but then we loved it. We sat at the bar had wine and appetizers. The bartenders were very attentive and knowledgeable. They gave a great wine pour. We went back again the next day.

We came here for my friend's bachelorette party. We came here on a Saturday evening at 6:30 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty when we came. We were seated immediately and got a nice booth across from the bar. We ordered cocktails and wine and all of the cocktails were really tasty! Our waiter was super fun and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. We ordered the steak tartare, oysters, and I got the fish special for my entree. The steak tartare was delicious and came out on a smoky plate and the oysters were really good with their homemade pickleback mignonette. They have a happy hour until 6 pm I believe, so I would recommend coming back for drinks and apps! The steak tartare came with homemade chips instead of bread and was tasty and smoky. It was my first time having smoky steak tartare. The fish entree was okay. It came with rice and a coconut sauce but overall wasn't very flavorful besides the coconut. My only real complaint is that our entrees took an hour and a half after ordering to come out and we were almost late for our next event. I think the kitchen was backed up around 7ish and took a while for the food to come out. I wish this was communicated to us while we were there. Overall, vibes were good. I wished there was better communication and I would come back for happy hour if I'm back in Savannah!

Having been to this place twice before, we went in pre-show at 445pm Happy Hour on Nov 21, 2024. Empty restaurant, no seats at the bar. Hostess said, nope you can't stand in the bar. Nope you can't sit at a high top for drink and bar food. Reserved. Nope you can't sit at a table. Full service only. Anyway already reserved. For a drink and snack? Nope. We have a show to make.... nope. So I guess for us: nope we won't go back

Very good food, friendly service, and good ambiance. We went for an early dinner and the place was pretty available without a crowd. The appetizers are a standout and we ended up ordering 4 as a table of two to split instead of a meal. I highly recommend the gnocchi, octopus, tarte flambee. The charred wings were not my favorite but still good and more so due to my preferred flavor than not being good. Cocktails were delicious as well. Only disappointing aspect was happy hour is only offered at the bar and not tables, but most of the discounted apps we were unlikely to order as is.

I had the ricotta toast, and it was exceptional! I love the fact that there are no TVs in the restaurant which is a rare day these days. Great ambience as well.

AMAZING FOOD, DRINKS, AMBIENCE AND SERVICE! I am out of town visitor here for 2 weeks. This place was hands down the best restaurant we tried! I am from San Diego and a restaurant of this caliber would be much higher priced. Starting w the Bone Marrow Infused Old Fashioned. Such a unique drink with a great finish! Everyone at the table ordered one after one person ordered. The ambiance is dark wood, prohibition feel. Great bar w loads of alcohols. This is a higher end place with very good prices. The bread w Sea Salt Butter was great. Soft hot and w a touch of sea salt from the butter. The wings were cooked so well, the meat was moist and fell off the bone. The Gorgonzola Ranch was delicious! The Octopus was cooked PERFECTLY! Slight char and tender!! The Whipped Rocatta Cheese Toast was sweet/Savory and delicious!!! The Mexican Corn was just like I would get in San Diego. Elevated flavors of sweet, buttery, creamy and acidic! Truly a real gem on the menu. Hamburgers and Ribeyes were ordered and the cook on every dish was perfect. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I came here for our New Year dinner and the food and drinks were delicious. I had the bone in pork chop and my husband had the steak which was delicious as well. He had a bourbon drink and that was really good as well. I didn't like that the tables were too small and it was pretty dark in there but overall it's worth checking out.

This place is amazing! We stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying until closing time. Both Max and Charlie were awesome! They made us feel very welcomed and kept us laughing. We will be back again!

Easy going bar with friendly bartenders, I mean, Southern hospitality at play. Food and drinks were great. Only had the GA shrimp and it was flavorful and dense. Excellent customer service!

Great food and drinks and attentive service! Did a last minute trip from out of town and tried to make reservations the day of with no luck. We fortunately tried walking in on Valentine's Day evening with no reservations becausand were able to grab a seat at the bar. Truly great experience, everything from food and handcrafted cocktails were superb. If you're looking for a great spot that delivers in every way..this is it! We'll definitely be back!!

We had 6 items and 5 were incredible. The oysters are definitely worth ordering and if you mix the pickle juice and bloody Mary sauce they are even better. The zucchini is a nice complement, the beef tartare is tasty if you like smoked items, the lobster roll (and the chips that come with) are incredible and the octopus is maybe a top 3 item in the city. It has a slight crunch at the beginning and then melts in your mouth. The only dish that was not quite up to par was the whipped ricotta toast, which was ok, but it was more like a foam than whipped. Will 100% be back and the staff is super friendly.

Started with Rosemary Irish Mule made with Jameson whiskey, so good! Reminded us of our distillery tour of Jameson's in Ireland. We began with Hudson Valley Foie Gras which was delicate and so smooth. This was followed with grilled octopus. Large octopus tentacle pieces perfectly grilled and tender. Next we enjoyed their Southern Schnitzel chicken with collard greens, red cabbage and a gruyere mustard sauce. Delightful! We finished with an order of small donuts coated with crunchy sugar and the outside tasting almost like a New Orlean's beignet. Service by Hunt was impeccable and entertaining.

Fantastic food and service. The appetizers were great, highly recommend the flatbread. The schnitzel was delicious!

The parking isn't ideal; however; there is a parking garage nearby which cost $5 or less. We made reservations for 7:30 pm and didn't have to wait long before being seated. Once inside, the atmosphere will totally pull you in. I love plants and there are tons of plants strategically placed throughout the restaurant. There aren't gender neutral restrooms if that's something you prefer but what I can say is that the female restroom was very clean. Charlie, our server, was such a delight! I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food here. I've never eaten Octopus and it was DELICIOUS! I'm soooooo glad my brother had a taste for some. I wasn't able to finish the pork chop because it was huge and it was a bit too thick for my liking. My brother doesn't usually eat burgers and he cleaned his plate! I would award more stars if I could and that's unusual for me. I look foreword to visiting again for a date night with bae : )

Food & ambiance was incredible. I feel really bad saying this but the service was awful-- super long wait to be greeted, another super long wait to put in an order. Lady was nice, just a little awkward and inattentive. Had to go up to the bar to fetch my friends drink that never came, while I had mine. Never asked how anything was. But I like this place, just wouldn't want the same server

This was my first visit to Repeal 33 in Savannah, Georgia and it certainly did not disappoint the recommendation. Our dinner experience was for a special occasion and reunion. Reservations were made on line and we were promptly seated upon arriving. The restaurant is known for its casual yet elegant atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both special occasions and a night out on the town. The menu had a splendid variety of options, appetizers, entrees and desserts. items include the Grass Fed Angus Burger, topped with maple-bourbon bacon jam, Seared Scallops served with a delightful spring pea risotto, Salmon, and filet mignon. The drink menu is equally impressive, with a wide range of regional beers, wines, and signature cocktails. Overall, Repeal 33 is highly recommended for its innovative take on Southern cuisine, superb drink selection, and inviting ambiance .

The service was excellent and very close to two hotels and SCAD Art museum. Highly recommend. Ofc food delicious

Really great dining experience. Parking can be challenging but it's downtown savannah so that is normal. I could have just eaten the sourdough bread for dinner with the butter and left a happy camper. The Brussels were incredible and so many of the them. This is a huge appetizer. We loved it! The sourdough was magical. Seating is different around the place. They put us at a table and I prefer a booth but it was a good experience. The tables are just really, really small. We had to move all kinds of things around to make space for our food. Highly recommend eating at a larger table OR booth if you are going to order a great deal of food. I had the fish and my partner had a burger. Well presented, quick service, good wait staff. Our drinks came out quickly and were medium pours. It was a great night. Would recommend for date night. The menu is pretty heavily seafood so make sure everyone is open to that if you go with a party.

Dave our waiter was great. I had the best chicken and waffles that I have ever had. The potatoes were tasty. The french toast was also very good. Highly recommend.

Food was amazing. Sarah our serve made our experience at this restaurant even better. This is a must try restaurant in Savannah !!!
