I didn’t have a full meal here just the wings and mixed appetizer plate so I can’t speak into the food too much. The wings were amazing and the fried zucchini is made in house and was fantastic. Service can be a little slow at times. They seem to be socializing a bit too much. The location is convenient for spring valley lake.

Decent food. Service was swift and attentive. It's definitely not a steakhouse quality meal. But it's not trash either. I guess if your in the area it's a good meal.

Ok first time I've ever been here and this place blew my mind away. We'll worth the wait and food with the drinks and service 5 stars across I wish I could give it more as it deserves.... freaking awesome definitely will be back this place is a must try if ya never had it...try the Nashville chicken sandwich and the wings oh ya

Hands down, best steaks and burgers in the HD. Been enjoying the food, beer, whiskey, and friendly service here for years. Prices are more than fair and the vibe is relaxed. It's a place I can always rely on and trust taking friends into. Highly recommended.

Very good place with a good atmosphere. The food is really good and fresh ingredients. We had the French dip and Philly cheese steak. The horseradish was fresh. All the ingredients were fresh. My wife loves to great tast of the french dip. First time here and it was a great experience. Hopefully it will be a consistent place to get a drink and some good food.

Nice sports bar. Visited on a Sunday early afternoon. I was seated promptly and waited about 10 min to talk to the wait staff. Ordered the fried pickles as an app. And the ribeye with veggies and fries. It took what seemed a long time for them to come out as the entree came out just a couple minutes after the appetizer arrived. The pickles were great. And the ribeye was cooked perfectly. I don't know if my waitress was distracted or just having a bad day, but she never checked back with me so that I could inform her that my fries were cold, and I mean not slightly warm but cold to the touch. After a couple of attempts to get her attention, she brought over the check, never asking about how my meal was. And even though my drink was Two thirds full she didn't offer a to-go cup which I got from the bartender as I was leaving. All said, I would still give them a second try as the food for the most part was very good.

Re-Pub-lic is a pretty standard sports bar. I've enjoyed watching game 6 of the NBA finals over there while having dinner. I've been there a couple of times since for lunch. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. They have great burgers and the skinny fries taste's is special.

I felt like a king, no joke. Food was amazing!! Mac n cheese was so creamy. Steak and shrimp perfectly cooked. Brown rice perfectly cooked. I'm kicking myself for this to be my first time there. Shoutout to Freddy for being awesome! Also shoutout to the server Emily. She made me feel like a celebrity with how she greeted me.

Spring Valley Lake, Victorville: Small sports bar style place with no view, high tables and some regular seating around the perimeter. A bit Off the beaten path and certainly filled with locals. Took a bit to get greeted & seated. Once I got a menu though, the server was very friendly and personable. Daily specials are a deal-taco, Tuesday, wing Wednesday, burger Thursday, steak Friday, BBQ Sunday & Monday. Wednesday Wings were great! So many choices, loved the lemon pepper dry rub and saucy Sweet Chili. Bourbon wing was juicy and tasty. Wings were served piping hot. I also ordered the original Republic Burger which for me was too much in addition to the wings. Cooked to order medium and truly a good burger with substantial bun. Didn't care for their pickles though. Off to the side with them. Burger was served piping hot, server got it to my table right away. Nice side salad. Reasonable prices and rare to see a daily special to include the weekends. I plan to try the BBQ Sunday/Monday special. I recommend this place. Parking rather tight but more spaces just north.

Ashleigh was our waitress tonight and she was AMAZING!! she was so sweet, attentive, knowledgeable and endearing. Thank you so much for great service, my mom and i enjoyed our meal & drinks

Great food, great service and nice place to hang out with friends! It can get pretty busy and noisy so patience is needed at times! They have daily specials as well.

The food is always so great, Ron runs a great establishment with friendly staff. Very welcoming people and a good time with friends or family; casual setting. Been eating here for 10+ years.

Service is absolutely the worst. Only reason they are not getting 1 stars is the food is pretty good. Would be a 5 star if the servers were not so rude. Worst staff. Walked in and was told sit wherever you want. We grabbed a booth. Had a server drop off menus about 5 minutes later. Then....... well we didn't have a server acknowledged us for about 20-25 mins. This was only because I flagged down one who was a complete b*/@h. She said "I'm busy" and walked away. Finally we got a server and put in our food and drink order. The food took a long time to get to us but when it did it was pretty good. Not sure if we will ever go back. Cons- Service is probably the worst in the high desert. Prices are higher then I thought for sports bar food would be. Pros- Food was good and Resturant had good lighting and ambiance and wasn't dark like some sports bars.

The food is very good. We've enjoyed the tacos, tacos salad, chicken, and burgers, all were very good. They have a well stocked bar and good assortment of beer on tap. All that being said, be ready to wait. The only downside is the service, very slow.

I've been a long time customer of the Republic and love the food! Sometimes we eat there a couple times per week. The owner Ron posted a need to have his window tint replaced at the restaurant. As Swift Appearance, we submitted a bid and negotiated a deal we agreed on with a gentleman's handshake. The following visit he informed me that another company gave him a lower bid but he was honoring our agreement. Ron and his wife stand by their word, honoring our relationship and paid immediately. We have enjoyed doing business with them and enjoy having this restaurant in our community. Thank you from the Swift Team!

Waitress are very friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken wings, it was really good. Order the whiskey sauce and garlic sauce. Yummy! Environment were good too. Not too crowded.. we like here.

Food was absolutely delicious!! I was happy with everything & the specials are fantastic. The people here are always very nice I meet new friends every time I visit. Great atmosphere and the music isn't bad either

This is my 4th time here with the same problem. Giving pass after pass. No more passes!!!! Service and waiting for food like sandwich was over 30 minutes... idk how many times the lady had past up didn't check on us. Due to that and how long it took to get our food. We decided to not get dessert!!!! I saw several people leave the establishment due to the wait time of the food and service to order. Food saved them but I may not be coming back. This is ridiculous. They only cater to the locals. Which I've been local for years and surprisingly they were recommendations but I will not recommend them moving forward.

Serena our server was amazing! Food is good. Service is usually just ok in the past , however Serena made up for it today.

I went in there today to go have dinner. I called to find out what time the kitchen closes. They told me at 8 o'clock. I get there at 7:30 and they said the kitchen is closed the people that work there lied to me I'm a regular there Whoever the older lady says she's a manager said the kitchen is closed is a lier it is January 6, 2025 7:30 PM. I'm letting the owner Ron know about this!!!!

Visiting one of my offices I decided to use yelp for a quick spot to eat. I found the Republic. It was an interesting ride getting there because of all the hills but I made it. Small parking lot but a Spot right in front. Walked in, small bar, felt like a big room. There were mostly couples, one group and a few singles at the bar. The bartenders were nice but not too talkative, they were servicing everyone. I dont remember seeing extra help. Nice beer selection and a few new ones I havent seen like the aurora... (forgot it) The taste was great and I requested an orange slice on the side. They have weekly specials and the day I wemt the special was beef stroganoff with prime rib. I decided to order a beer and their sampler, which was a steal($14)! I got buffalo wings, zucchini sticks, eggrolls anddd fried pickles. I enjoyed every bite and the price was perfect.

I ate here with my friends and everything tastes delicious until I got home and started feeling ill. I ordered the chicken street tacos and waffle fries. I felt so terrible I was trying to sleep off the sickness I had. I woke up in the middle of the night and threw all my food up. Everything, it was insane. I would not recommend this place unless you want to hurl everything you ate later that night. Will not be going here again

The cobb salad is sooooo good. Sunday Bruch - chimichurri steak and eggs with bottomless bloody mary's. I also love their fried pickles.

The Victor Valley British Car Club had our Christmas Holiday Party here. What can I say? It was the best meal I have had this holiday season! The manager, Sheryl (I hope I spelled her name right!), went up and beyond to ensure our evening was stellar. Our server, Amaya, is amazing! She is very efficient and has a beautiful personality. We had a turkey dinner with all the traditional sides. The turkey was all white breast meat. The sides consisted of mashed potatoes, a green bean casserole, dressing, corn, bread roll, cranberry sauce, and turkey gravy. There was also a pumpkin and an apple pie. All of the food was delicious! The back bar area at RePublic was reserved for us and decorated festively for the event. I had a very pleasant and memorable evening. It is definitely recommended to have your events catered at this restaurant.

The Taco Tuesday fish or shrimp tacos are delightful! It's a local pub atmosphere. Although our order came out wrong the first time, the server had the kitchen remake it, let us eat the first batch, and didn't charge us extra. Will definitely go back for the tasty Tuesday tacos!

Turkey Burger is simple but good. It just has avocado, lettuce and tomato on an egg bun. Waffle fries (sweet potato) are tasty with the ranch dressing they come with.

Serena is the best. Michelle Whitman is my favorite. I love this place. The service is impeccable.

Republic is great, friendly staff and good food. The chicken and waffles are awesome and steak night is always worth the wait.

So once you get service it's fine but it's always taken me a hot minute to get someone over to help us. They seem really understaffed for how busy it's been while I'm there. I haven't had a bad server and the food has always been good. The vibe is pretty relaxed not too loud but we will see once football season is here!

Unfortunate to have the same name as her but the waitress Michelle was incredibly slow and rude. We waited almost 30 mins just to get the bill. Everytime we tried to flag her down as she walked by she ignored us. She never asked us if we wanted any refills, dessert, or even if there's anything else she could get us when she brought the food. She just set the food down and left without saying a word. I could understand if it was busy, but there were about 5 tables with people and 2 other waitresses so it wasn't busy at all. The food is great and I love the environment just please for the love of god, get new waitresses!

best Restraunt in the high desert, food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Love the prime rib on thursdays

I love this place. The food is delish and well priced, the ambiance is fun and this is definitely the place to be in Victorville with its prime location in spring valley lake. The staff is fun and welcoming with great service. Get your favorite drink, watch your favorite sports and have a good time at Republic!

Everything I've tried is delicious! The best menu in the high desert. They have amazing specials every day

I was working in the area and decided to get a burger from here. Got there regular cheeseburger, but added a patty to make it a double thinking it was gonna be like a double double from in n out or something. What I got was a monster double cheese. This thing was thick. Had to take out a patty n eat it like a caveman. Then smash the burger. With some steak fries on the side it was one of the best burgers I had in a while.

They have Lost Coast PB Stout on TAP! This makes me so happy. It is winter and the only other place to get a Stout is Oggis. I would prefer a coffee stout but this is my other favorite. I just had a great burger in a wonderful place that I am comfortable watching a football game. The waitress and all the staff are ALWAYS wonderful and that is why we came here. The service and menu is perfect for the last day of 2023.

We were craving for wings and we thought of checking this place out over Wingstop. We went in and we already felt that we are not welcome in this place. I observed that white patrons get their food served in plates and presentation as what you normally see in the picture. Check out how our food was served. The servers were so chummy with the white patrons even toasting alcohol and drinking with them. Not once we were greeted asked if we need anything or what they would normally do to the white patrons. It is simply discrimination. We regret going in this place when we were hungry and craving.

V did a great job today. They were short-staffed and she was so efficient. Came here yesterday and it took 30 minutes to get my 1st beer or even an acknowledgement. They had 2 people yesterday and they were less efficient than V did with more people today!! Great job V!

Took the family yesterday for an early dinner and this is the best steak I have had in years!! The entire meal plus a salad was $25 with the choice of a filet or ribeye, in my picture is the filet. Took everything I had not to go back again today for the sane meal! 100 % recommend!!

Food is delicious & their service was good, mostly friendly. Definitely a local gathering place for community & friends. Decor is rustic.

First time going into Republic, was a little dark, was a bit crowded , was told to find whatever open seat we could find... most of the empty tables were dirty, and we thought about leaving, but oh my goodness are we glad we stayed... the skinny fries are amazing, the Breakfast burrito was awesome, ( beware thought the salsa is HOT) my wife said her French Dip was the best she has ever had, and she loved her Margarita! Would we go back? For sure! A little more expensive than casual dining, but we'll worth it!

I want to give a 3.5 to be fair. The food is good and good portions. Prices a little much but not considering the area and atmosphere. My main problem is service. It's long to be waited on, probably should be clear on what you want from the jump. The workers are always friendly and informative.

We were visiting Apple Valley this past Saturday and were looking for a new place to try. My husband found this place and we were glad we tried it. It was an out of the way pub that was hopping inside. We were greeted at the door and told to pick a seat wherever we wanted. Cheryl was our server and came to greet us at the table very quickly. That woman was moving, it was busy with only the bar tender and two servers, but she was so pleasant and responsive. So how about the food? We started with apps, fried pickle spears that were delicious, crispy and not too sour, and mozzarella sticks. I didnt get those but my family said they were great. For our meals, I had the Western bacon cheese burger. It was stacked high with a large patty cooked to a medium perfection, topped with lettuce, tomates, cheddar cheese BBQ sauce, two large, crispy strips of bacon and two huge, crunchy onion rings and also served with a large portion of steak fries. I could only eat half my burger. My mom got the French dip sandwich with a side of criss cut sweet potato fries. She enjoyed here's but also could only eat half. My husband had the Bourbon Jack buger and enjoyed his. My son had the Otrega chili burger and also enjoyed his. Overall, great food, huge portions, great prices and friendly staff. Thank your staff for all their hard work!

Food is outstanding! Highly recommend wing Wednesday and Burger Thursday! Excellent Bloody Mary! Service is improving but it takes a while to order. We usually have to call a server over to help. We are within walking distance of this place and would go a lot more if the service improved.

Ordered crispy tacos, stuffed quesadilla with chicken, and loaded nachos to go for a New Year's meal with family. Bar staff was very attentive when taking our order and kitchen staff made sure food was ready for pick up right on time. The sturdy to-go containers kept the food hot and crispy, and we all enjoyed a very delicious holiday meal at home.

Food was fresh and flavorful. Service was on point and the inside was clean. It is a bar restaurant, so it can get noisy.

Walked in. Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Nope. Walked out. Guess they don't need new customers. Sounds like a winning game plan. Lol.

Waited 1.5Hours for 12 wings.... that said there were others that got their food before me after I ordered Took the wings to go then at home realized they were ice cold along with they are 1/2 the size of the others that ordered the same. Only reason a 2 star was the taste.... great flavor 1st photo is lemon pepper which are the ones my friends ordered (larger in size), 2nd photo is my order to go. Pathetic at best

I've been coming to Republic for years since day one. The food is always great, the drinks are amazing, and the service brings me back every time. Love the ambiance of Americana mixed with sports bar and a flare of fine dining. Coming in and seeing Melissa, Stacy, Michelle, Justus, and Freddy not only reassures me I'm about to have a great dining experience, but they make me feel like part of the family and keep me coming back - almost daily!

Service is horrible. Waitress rather talk to themselves than take a customers order. Beer wasn't even cold.

Nice dive in the community. Add more lemon pepper to the wings though & more ranch.

First time here and took a little while to get serviced. All was going great with food until I got to eat two fries. Extremely salty and to pull out a small piece of hair out of my mouth disgusting. I did in fact made a complaint just to get $3 off my bill. Never coming again

I'm conflicted. I dined here twice and I had a mixed experience. At the time of this review there is no permitted indoor dining so tables were placed around the parking lot under tents and some not under tents in case you want to melt under the relentless summer sun. The tables under the tents have adequate shade and it was quite comfortable. The drinks were very good. I tried a variety and found each to be delicious and satisfying. I really liked the drinks. The food was ok. The French dip was a bit dry and rather bland. The flat bread, though, was much better - very cheesy and bready. I don't know if I would necessarily get it again but it was nice. The service was fine. The second time our server was great. She was cheery and funny, checked on us often and provided great conversation. The first time was what sticks out tho. The first time the service was ok. Our server was rather nice. I left the restaurant and forgot my cell phone. I called and asked if they could see if it was still there. The lady who answered said it wasn't but if I call back she would check with the other servers. I said sure. My friend drove me back and I tried calling again and couldn't get a hold of anyone. When we arrived back at the restaurant I asked again if they had found my phone and they said they didn't. But here's the thing - I have an Apple Watch and the Apple Watch immediately detected that my phone was in the vicinity. I pinged it and heard my phone make an audible. I traced it to the bar where there was another lady there and a couple standing at the bar. I asked if she had my phone describing it. She said no, no one turned a phone in again. I pinged it again and said "I can hear it" and that's when she looked under the bar and handed me my phone. Now I am not sure what to make of this. It could be nefarious. It could be that they were just so busy they weren't talking to each other. It could have been something else. But overall it was disappointing.

Didn't feel welcome. Our 1st visit was wonderfu. today the Tuesday staff is completely unwelcoming it's approximately 1:40 PM & about four waitresses, including the owner ignored us for about 10 mins as we sat at the bar. food is wonderful the Tuesday staff clearly was frustrated btw we are 2 friendly African America woman. A Mexican woman sat next to us about 30 minutes later and got the best service to where she pointed out how we weren't being serviced the same.

Food is excellent drink are good to, nice local spot in SVL. I would definitely recommend.

Food is good, but every time I go the service SUCKS!! no one pay attention to you, you have to get them to even come over.. I would suggest to the owner to pay attention to this as costumers only give you a few chances before they never come back..
