Great mimosas and excellent bottomless brunch. Sure, it's pricey at $35 for brunch... But the mimosas are 25 cents and it's all the brioche French toast you can eat. Recommend the mussels and garlic toast, the catfish spread was incredible as well.

The interior, decor, location, ambience and music is great. For the location the prices are moderately inexpensive. Place is great to dine with friends and the service is great and menu is simple. The food however was bland. I ordered the double cheeseburger with fritas, cod croquettes and my wife had the Lamb shoulder. The croquettes even though they were fried perfectly were bland and mushy. The cheeseburger was a bit greasy and tasteless. The beans in the lamb were underwhelming but the lamb was seared nicely. Overall I have to give this place an average rating and probably won't be back.

I've been to Requin for both lunch and dinner now. We had dinner here for New Year's Eve and I have to say that it lived up to the hype with not just one but TWO top chef contenders behind it. We had several small dishes as well as the seafood bouillabaisse. Dip the bread into the broth. Don't hesitate, just do it. It's amazing. Although I wasn't able to try it myself but I've heard several times now that the french onion soup here is the best around and from some the best they've ever had. The food for lunch was just as delicious but a little too rich of a meal for me. But, if you're looking for something indulgent I would go for the quick lunch which gives you a chance to try both a soup and sandwich. I had the duck confit scallion pancake. I think it was more of a dish meant to be shared with the table but I hoarded it to myself. Highly recommended for a nice dinner date or if you feel like being a little fancier than usual. Definitely glad that Requin replaced the previous tenant, Gypsy Soul, and hope they plan to stay!

Just back from dinner at Requin in the Mosaic District and we were less than impressed. Service was slow and inefficient. It took the waiter 10 minutes to take our drink order and another 10 to bring them to the table. Twice they brought the wrong food to our table and the food that we did get was just average at best. The onion soup was way too salty, almost inedible. The burger was ok, but very small and the fries were cold. The roasted chicken and seasonal vegetables were ok, but not worth the $24 price tag. My daughter's caesar salad and mussels were the best dishes on the table. Oh and one last thing....if you are going to charge $11 for a glass of wine (the bottle retails in stores for $16) can you please make it a decent pour? Very skimpy to say the least. I expected more from a Mike Isabella restaurant. I would not recommend.....

Great experience. We were drawn in by the Restaurant Week menu but I decided to order off the regular dinner menu. I started with Mussel and Clam escabeche, then moved to baby octopus and quail drumette l’orange. The blueberry clafoutis was a great follow up. The blueberries were warmed to a perfect temperature. Though the portions here are small, 2 plus a dessert are probably plenty for most people. They are anywhere from $10-18 a plate so if you order 2; you're looking at a $30ish dollar dinner per person. Given the quality of ingredients and execution, I'd say that's pretty good. They have an extensive and reasonably priced French wine list. We enjoyed an awesome bottle (okay maybe 2) of an excellent brut rose for $40/bottle. Read some reviews knocking the service. Our waitress was excellent. Attentive without being annoying, knowledgeable about the wine choices and menu options. We look forward to returning.

This review is for brunch. The food was good, but service and price take away a few stars. It's an all-you-can-eat, but there were precious minutes in between each round of food items. That time keys the food digest and makes you feel full before you've eaten your fair share. So, if friends insisted, I would go. But I wouldn't choose the place by myself. And I might throw in other suggestions. ...but now I'm reading that this place is closed? Google, don't ask me to review things that are closed! (I went back in February or late January.)

Eh. Went there for my birthday and had the 3 course meal. It was not worth it in my mind, luckily- I ordered the burger and the burger was pretty good but the rest was eh. The dessert was actually not great. We ordered the chocolate lava cake and the lemon blueberry one- eh. I had a old fashioned and gin & tonic- both were eh. The restaurant itself is pretty and can see why people would want to come here but the food is just so-so for the price. We probably won't come back here. :/

Nothing here had good flavor. It's not the chef's fault but whoever comes up with the dishes/sources the ingredients. Service was great. Tried a lot of different items between everyone in the group as no one had any issues sharing cuz they didn't like their dish. Everything seemed like the cheapest ingredients made in a fancy way so they could charge more. Even the Burger tasted like liver (I believe the meat used was too lean)
