Nice spot for food and drinks Really enjoyed my visit here. The place has a cool atmosphere, the service was friendly, and the food came out fresh and tasty. Drinks were well mixed and reasonably priced. It’s a great spot to hang out, eat well, and relax. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

I’m a South Loop local, just around the block from Reserv. I appreciated Roots before they vacated the building & was nervous what kind of restaurant could take over that space properly. While they have some “new restaurant” kinks to get out of the way, the food was bomb. Probably too large of a menu - but everyone eating had a genuine look of shock when they ate their food. Look forward to trying more soon - but the chicken wings were fantastic!

I settled at the bar on what felt like a quiet Tuesday night, but the arrival of my dish was nothing short of stunning, almost like a work of art. I had to ask for condiments and utensils, adding a little anticipation to the experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, all while catching the excitement of sports on the TVs above and the energy of trivia night in full swing.

Horrible, inedible food. I ordered the tossed salad with salmon for pickup. I could not believe what I arrived to my hotel with. Slimy wilted old salad greens, rotten avocado and hard, old, dry, BURNT salmon steaks that HAD TO HAVE BEEN COOKED HOURS PRIOR. This was almost a $30 salad, and it was disgusting and inedible. Had to toss it as I was visiting Chicago and it wasn’t worth it to take and UBER back to confront and immature and unprofessional staff about it. Shame on the cook and the staff who served it. SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!

Great experience overall! The food was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavor. Everything came out fresh and exactly as ordered. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. It’s a great place to enjoy a meal, whether you’re dining casually or celebrating something special. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again.

The food is good but they are short staffed so the wait times are long. The waitresses are working the rooftop and the restaurant at the same time so expect 3 different people handling your order. I ordered the Italian beef pizza which was good but I got consommé with my to go order instead of au jus gravy. Sunday you can go to the rooftop but make sure to book a table or section because you will be standing all night. Drinks are over priced. A lemon drop & double shot of tequila with lemonade was $43 at the upstairs bar. Bring your wallets!

I am not really sure what is going on here. The food is mediocre and expensive. The place is almost always empty. The wait staff always seem confused and overwhelmed. Pros: it is convenient if you are in the area.

Reserve Restaurant is a hidden gem. I ordered the steak skillet and it was incredible…flavorful, perfectly cooked, and easily enough for two meals. At only $14, the value is hard to beat. Everything was delicious and the service was great from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.
