When I first came across Reset I had no idea I found my home outside of Mexico. The atmosphere is incredible, and the ladies are spicy. One of the best nights of my life was when they hosted a super smash bros tournament. Reset Bar is really a hidden gem that's cherished by many. There's this one Cocktail waitress named Cammy who just brightens up the room, she's super kind and thoughtful of her customers (me and other patrons) truly a one of a kind person and place.

​After our wedding, we celebrated at Reset Arcade Bar, and it was the perfect choice to continue the festivities. The DJ set the tone with fantastic music, creating an energetic and lively atmosphere that our guests absolutely loved. The bar staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring everyone had a great time. The combination of great music, excellent service, and a fun environment made it a memorable end to our special day. Highly recommend Reset Arcade Bar for anyone looking to host an unforgettable event or simply enjoy a night out.

Cam is an absolute gem! She’s super friendly, attentive, and knows how to make you feel welcome the second you walk in. Her energy is always on point, and she’s got the perfect vibe for the bar scene—fun, professional, and genuinely cool. Drinks were on point and the whole experience was better because of her. Definitely ask for Cam when you stop by!

Tons of games to play. DJs spinning on the weekends. Plenty of space to hang out with your friends indoors, outdoors and on the rooftop lounge. Custom arcade theme cocktail menu. Also, there are multiple food trucks in the parking lot to choose from. It’s very easy to stay entertained here for hours!

Cammy, you're not just a bartender, you're a therapist in disguise! I was having a rough night, heartbroken and feeling like the world was ending. But then Cammy poured me a drink (and a healthy dose of kindness) and suddenly the world didn't seem so bad. Her warm smile and listening ear were the perfect remedy for a broken heart. If Cammy ever decides to leave bartending, she'll make a fortune as a motivational speaker! 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give her 10 stars if I could!

This is behind Parlay House. If you accidentally park behind Lustre Pearl you're in for a long walk! Oops. It's part of an interesting complex of a half dozen bars that I've never visited before, and Reset is apparently brand new. The inside is actually pretty small with a long bar in the center surrounded by arcade machines all lining the back wall, and a few other things for variety like a couple skee ball lanes, basketball hoop machine, a pool table, and even a virtual golf game that looks impressive. There's also a DJ booth in one corner and a couple wet couches in front of a big TV. I don't know if they're only temporarily wet or if this was a weird tactile illusion, but I noped out of there. In the backyard it's AstroTurf and picnic tables with umbrellas and a small bar in a shipping container. There's a ping pong table and giant Connect Four, and a stairway upstairs to the small roof deck with more picnic tables. Overall it's new and slick with lots of LED lights, but it's a very soulless crypto-frat vibe. The arcade games are modern and expensive, the music is incredibly loud, and nothing is warm and inviting, it's all very cold and electronic. And cramped! Since the backyard and rooftop were a ghost town when I was there, everybody was inside making it so crowded there was no passing, and no using some of the games that were blocked by drinkers. Today was a sort of grand opening party even though it's been open for a little bit, it seems. So it may not always be like this, but for 6pm on a Sunday this was a lot.

Just like Recess on dirty 6th- same owners I believe. It's brand new, beautiful, amazing vibe! They have some games streaming on the TVs, great drinks, and awesome arcade games! They have an outside area and an outside upstairs. There are a few outdoor games like corn hole and pingpong. There's misters keeping it cool and nice lights illuminating the area. (Only downside, their Photo Booth outside prints VERY dark photos. You can barely see them.)

A tad disappointed in our experience here. It's super close to where we live so we walked there on a Saturday afternoon. First, three of the beers listed on their menu they didn't have... we actually thought the bartender might've been joking but they weren't. My guy ended up ordering a water (not why we came here). The service was also sub-par -- each time we walked up to the bar, bartenders would be shootin' the you-know-what with each other with zero urgency for the customer. Or they would walk completely past us, making zero eye contact. What in the world? Second, some of the games do not work. Our card was charged repeatedly because the game jammed so we had to unplug the machine. The bartender told us that if the charge on our card was more than anticipated to give them a call and they'd fix it. That's a really nice gesture considering, but I don't think others will want their cards charged for games not played. Lastly, mirroring the other review here -- do not waste your money in the Photo Booth. This felt like a total money grab - really uncool.

The bar staff is fast, friendly, and knows how to mix a mean drink (pro tip: try one of their game-themed cocktails). The games are all in great condition. Perfect for date night, group hangs, or just leveling up your weekend plans! 10/10

If you go bring cash! The card readers have a $5 min and charge tax Outside of that tip - very fun. It's a small space so you can really just pop in a play for a bit and leave. It's a great spot to stop at before or after dinner on date night.

Very friendly staff, but the drinks were pretty pricey and most of the arcade games were $1, but had a $5 minimum when using Apple Pay. Went on an extremely dead night with barely anyone there besides my friends and myself, but the bartender said it was pretty abnormal for it to be so slow. Didn't get to check out the back (didn't even know they had a back patio area, honestly). A chill night, will have to try to visit again during happy hour or on a weekend to see how it gets when it's busy.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! They charge an automatic 20% gratuity on all tabs plus a credit card service fee. The drinks are way over priced and watered down. We asked them why they are charging a 20% gratuity without notifying or displaying a sign and they directed us to sign that nobody could read from the bar. We had to go behind the bar to actually read the sign and the sign said a 20% charge is added on walked out tabs; however, we didn't walk out and we still got charged. When we asked them to remove the charge they said it was out of their control. We asked to speak to a manager and the bartender said they are all managers. This place is a scam, don't spend your money here it's not worth it. They take advantage of all their customers such a shady business!!!

On a Saturday, if you want to avoid feeling insulted, it is best not to show up wearing athletic attire. All around a waste of space.

Went in with my girlies the vibe was amazing, our bartender Reuben was so freaking funny and made us laugh with any encounter we had with him! PLUS the drinks were great!

I LOVE this bar!! I would absolutely call it a south Austin gem! The staff is all super friendly and they provide 5* service for sure! It's got a great atmosphere and fun games! BEST OF ALL, they ALLOW DOGS! And they have a great little fenced in back patio with AstroTurf, picnic tables, heaters and fans. So glad to have found this one!

There was unfortunately a shooting in the Parlay parking lot right in front of this business on October 29th. My friends and I heard three shots as we were waiting 10 feet in front of the door for our Uber after playing games in the bar and purchasing drinks. We heard the shots and my 3 friends with me ran back inside and they closed the door on my other friend and wouldn't let him in. We were screaming to let him in and wouldn't look at us and ignored us. We were all girls and my friend was a guy, they decided not to let him in when there was an active shooter in the parking lot. This is my honest and truthful review of what happened to me at this establishment.

Cool vibe, needs more games. The thing I absolutely hate, though, is the beer is in cans. I hate canned beer. The last beer I had there also tasted skunky. Only come here if you wanna drink liquor I guess.

$9 beers. Dos X and modelo is 9 freakin dollars per beer!!!! They charge 20% per bill for a "service charge" + tax so you are looking at 28% more than listed prices. Not at all worth it and then you pay for games on top of it. Avoid this place.
