Wonderful rooms and restaurant run by an incredibly talented and thoughtful family. Highly recommend to go for dinner or stay (the free breakfast is not to be missed!)

Extraordinary place with well thought through concept. Facilities are very clean and modern, staff is amazing, friendly and very welcoming , food quality absolutely top quality. This is a place we always visit when nearby.

Staying across the road and we were looking for a dinner spot, reviews here seemed...a bit too good but we tried it. Absolutely justified reviews, what a fantastic meal. You can choose from 2 set menus or just pick items from the a la carte. Service was great and the food was outstanding, big selection of wine (with help to pick available). Worth every penny (cent).

Best food I’ve had so far in northern Italy!

I was in this restaurant countless times in the last 20 years (honestly, I tried to count, it was impossible; way over 50 times). It is amazing that I never left without beint totally satisfied. The food here is everything I love, great taste, simple plates and very creative. It's super reachable as you only need 5 minutes from the motorway to reach Gufidaun. The rooms are also very nice as they just have been renovated. (Disclaimer: I know chef Thomas Haselwanter and his wife Cornelia Auer personally and call them very close friends.)

Große Kochkunst, Gaumenschmaus und Spitzenservice im Unterwirt Gufidaun! Wir hatten einen absolut fantastischen Abend im Restaurant Unterwirt in Gufidaun! Ein riesiges Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für das herausragende Menü! Was hier aus der Küche auf die Teller gebracht wird, ist wirklich Kochkunst auf ganz hohem Niveau. Es war ein großartiges Menü, bei dem man die Liebe zum Detail, die Qualität der frischen, saisonalen größtenteils auch regionalen Produkte und die kreative Raffinesse in jeder Komponente schmecken konnte. Die Gerichte waren nicht nur optisch toll angerichtet, sondern auch geschmacklich perfekt ausbalanciert, spanned pointiert und durchweg ein Hochgenuss. Der Service stand dem in nichts nach! Sehr aufmerksam, herzlich und einfach perfekt. Nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank dafür, dass ihr meinen vorab per E-Mail geäußerter Wunsch so lieb umgesetzt habt. Es war nicht nur alles wie erhofft, sondern wurde auch noch so persönlich und herzlich gehandhabt – das hat den Abend wirklich besonders gemacht. Man spürt hier die Leidenschaft für exzellentes Essen und herausragenden Service. Wer hier nicht einkehrt, ist wirklich selbst schuld! Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für jeden, der eine exzellente Küche und einen unvergesslichen Abend erleben möchte. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend und ganz liebe Grüße aus Hamburg.
