Residenza Della Signoria

Really good location in the heart of the city, so easy to walk everywhere. Owners were super helpful and responsive, property readily accessible and had a lift which is needed given all the stairs. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Only dislike is there is you can hear a lot of street noise, there was a busker most nights from 9-11pm who would sing with his electric guitar and we would hear everything. Whilst adults don't mind, was hard for the younger ones to sleep.

I loved this place, the location is unbeatable, the room very comfortable and quiet. Despite being in the heart of the tourist area you sleep like in a spa. I never ran into anybody from the staff, but got all the help and guidance I needed, from the hosts and the cleaning lady🫠, so it worked perfectly. It's very easy to have breakfast nearby and they have a coffee machine in the common area, so I as able to have my coffee at first hour in the morning every day😊

Fabulous location almost opposite the Or San Michele. Third floor, lift. rooms are very quiet, well furnished with nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Note there are no facilities here other than the 7 or 8 rooms. Even the staff are only present for short periods - tho they were meticulous at staying in touch. Right next door to the Cantinate del Verrazone- one of Florence's older and cake shops/cafes - v good for breakfast and light lunches. Also early evening meals in summer. Rooms vary in size but all have at least 4m wooden ceilings

We loved our stay at the Residenzia Della Signora. The location could not have been more perfect. Truly in the best neighborhood for shopping restaurants and sight seeing. The room was super clean and comfortable and more importantly QUIET! You would never know the crowds of people on the streets were even there. Matteo and Giavonna were helpful with restaurants recommendations and assisting with a taxi. So glad we found this lovely place to stay!

This B&B was awesome. It was our third hotel in Florence after returning from Verona. The location was very good, close to everything. You can see the duomo from the window. Stefano was very accommodating and allowed us to choose any room from three different sizes. I think we were the only ones there on our first night. The cold water dispenser in the common room was very handy. The cafe next door served nice breakfast, great gelato across the street and pizza about half a block away. I felt very safe on the third floor and security was good. Bed was comfortable and very large (king size). AC was fantastic. It was very clean and nicely appointed. ||We would definitely look at using this B&B again.

We’ve just returned from a three night visit. We first stayed here in 2010 and it was lovely to return. We even had the same room with a wonderful view of the duomo which was fantastic! The room was spacious, with beautiful furniture and it was spotlessly clean. The air conditioned and window shutters meant it was lovely and cool inside the room.||Stefano was very helpful and runs a lovely establishment. He gave us restaurant recommendations, taxi numbers and emailed local hairdressers in advance of our visit as we had to attend a wedding. The little kitchen has cool water available, a fridge and a coffee machine -60 cent for a coffee.||The location is just super-only minutes from the main sights yet our room was wonderfully quiet.||We would definitely stay here again when in Florence and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

I’m a traveller from Australia and I can’t say enough nice things about the hotel, especially the concierge/staff. A piece of my expensive shaver fell down the drain of the sink, I phoned for help in the morning, and by the time I had arrived back from my tour of the Leaning Tower of Pisa a plumber had retrieved it from the pipes and placed the missing parts on a table for me. A class act. (And sorry for not thanking everyone at the time) The room was beautiful and location perfect. Will return. (April 2023)

For 1 night in Florence, this was awesome location that you step into the sea of people. It's actually hidden location since it is inside a building with other local businesses. Located across from the gelato place and next to a bakery restaurant. It's located about 20 minute from the Termini which we took arrive in Florence from Rome. This place is all within walking distance to the cathedral and a local museum. Florence is known for it's designer brand shopping, so shoppers can unite out here. The amenities are minimal, but more for the "greener" side in terms of being environmental. Since we were in the area where it's all pedestrian area where no cars were allowed, there was minimal road noise, but perhaps some noise from the street cleaning and night life.

This appartment building is located in the centre of town. It had very spacious rooms and wasn't too expensive. There's no breakfast, but that's okay since you're very close to all kinds of shops and restaurants.

This is an awesome hotel. The rooms are really nice and the people are very friendly. The location is perfect for all the sites in Florence. You're walking distance from the Ufizi the cathedral, and the Academi Museum. I recommend this hotel without reservation. You won't be disappointed.
