Overall a great place to stay for comfort, service and location Nice size room. We had our 15 year old granddaughter with us and the room was not cluttered. It actually had a double and two singles. The TV wasn't great but we hardly watched. The location is close to a free bus stop and over the road from Universal but you need to get the bus to get to the entrance which is just a short drive. The hotel also has a shuttle to the large mall. We added breakfasts for a low price and they were excellent, a full buffet of choice. We had dinner twice and the food was nice although maybe a bit pricey compared to some options and portions. There's a nice pool on the roof with a view although it was closed for maintenence without warning the night we wanted to watch the light show and there's lovely big pools a short walk (dream pool) for laps and relaxing. Room service was great and they also arranged taxis and shuttles on request and stored our bags for the day on check out so we could still explore. Overall very satisfied for price and location. Front desk very polite and efficient.

I visit this place with my cousin for Harry Potter vision of magic. It was great that we got great mini bar and the walking distance to all connected place feel amazing. They got great choice of food that we can purchased from in hotel lobby even for after hours. Great gym as well

Visited Resorts World Sentosa – July 2025 Dropped by Resorts World Sentosa in mid-July 2025. Noticed quite a lot of upgrading and renovation works in progress. Even the walkway from VivoCity to Sentosa is partially detoured due to enhancement works. Despite the construction, the area still draws plenty of tourists, especially over the weekends. Once all the upgrades are complete, I believe the resort will become even more premium and enjoyable—definitely something to look forward to in the next couple of years.

My visit to Sentosa Island was absolutely fantastic and a highlight of my time in Singapore. There's such a diverse range of activities, from the thrilling Universal Studios to the relaxing beaches, ensuring there's something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the vibrant atmosphere throughout the island. The ease of getting around, whether by monorail or cable car, made the experience even more enjoyable. It's truly a perfect escape from the city hustle and bustle!

We got to explore Resorts World Sentosa before heading into Universal Studios—and it was already such a fun start! Took the train in with my husband and two boys, wandered around, ate way too much, and of course, took a photo outside the Harry Potter store (next time we’re going in 😅). Loved the lively vibe, cool shops, and little surprises everywhere. Perfect way to warm up for a theme park day!

Get here early because the wait times get longer as the day goes on. Fun activity for families. Take a ski lift up and ride a cart down. Most of the staff were friendly.

Resorts World Sentosa is truly a world-class destination that offers an exciting mix of entertainment, luxury, and family-friendly attractions. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway, an adventure-packed vacation, or a relaxing retreat, this resort has something for everyone. One of the first things that caught my eye was the whimsical and artistic decor, like the colorful popsicle ceiling installation and the oversized melting ice cream cone. These playful touches add to the fun, immersive experience that makes Sentosa such a unique destination. From Universal Studios Singapore to S.E.A. Aquarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark, there are endless activities to explore. The dining options are another highlight, ranging from casual eateries to fine dining experiences. Whether you’re in the mood for international cuisine, fresh seafood, or local delicacies, there’s no shortage of culinary delights. I also appreciated the variety of luxury hotels within the resort, catering to different preferences and budgets. For those who enjoy shopping, The Forum offers a mix of high-end brands and souvenir shops, making it a great place to pick up gifts or indulge in some retail therapy. The resort is also well-connected with easy transportation options, making it convenient to explore the rest of Sentosa Island. Overall, Resorts World Sentosa is a must-visit destination in Singapore, offering a perfect blend of thrill, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, you’ll find plenty to love here. Highly recommended!

Amazing place. When you are there, it’s like in another world. Great place to go with families and couples. Bruno from ocean restaurant was superb in service.

Yelp
Decent casino-resort but not quite on par with Vegas. Poker room is permanently closed FYI.

Yelp
We visited the casino on 29 March 2024 around noon time. As foreign visitors, we have to get our passport and digital arrival card checked before entering the casino. We encountered a staff at the entry gate named Sam Liau who was extremely rude and disrespectful. As first time visitors, we were new to the process. My parents gave him both passports and in a condescending and rude tone he told them to hold their own passport and he got extremely frustrated when my parents showed him the arrival card but couldn't tell him exactly which of the arrival card (both in the same phone) is my mum's and which is my dad's. He rolled his eyes and rudely tell my parents to get away from the entrance and go back of the queue. This would have been a quick check on the passport number against the arrival card for two persons and there were only one couple queuing behind them. It's ok to tell my parents to let the couple behind them to go first and to check which arrival card is whose but he could ask in a nice manner. His attitude was appalling treating my elderly parents who are in their late 60s like criminals. His tone of voice/demeanor and his treatment was so harsh that we were shocked. This is a hospitality business and in no way customers should be treated as such that we felt so unwelcoming. It's not a fault of visitors to be new to the process nor a fault of elderly to be a bit slow with phones/digital arrival card. I thought the whole point of having a staff there was to help and check? It seems like Sam Liau didn't want to do the simple job of checking arrival card against passport and didn't like his job much. It's ok too but don't treat customers especially elderly so disrespectfully and take it out on them - the lack of manners is truely shocking. Very bad experience. We won't be returning again. We will go to the other casino where we feel more welcomed.

Yelp
If you want to do any of the activities on the island I highly suggest you pre purchase online prior to making the trip out. Universal studios sells out daily and in advance so don't go the day of and expect availability. The food is decent , not much seating to escape the heat so be aware, rides are limited vs US park. Minions land was under construction but once opened it should be fantastic. To get into the casino you need a passport and immigration forms so be prepared with both. Table minimums are around $50. The casino only has gambling so don't expect it to be similar to US casinos like Vegas. The food court was really great and food quality was on par with local Singapore flavors. It's very hot and humid on the island so drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated. The water park is unique with a long lazy River and snorkeling which is very unique for a water park. Skip universal studios not worth the price but do the water park, gondola ride, and food court.

Yelp
Really huge facility that truly gives people a sense that Resorts World is more than just a casino. Resorts World is located on Sentosa Island, which can be accessed a number of ways. On the day my wife and I went, we took the MRT to Harbourfront and got out of the Vivo City mall to transfer to the Sentosa bus, which we took for a grand total of $2! Not only was it the cheapest way to get to Sentosa, but after seeing the long lines at Resorts World for the Sentosa Express Monorail, it definitely seemed like the quickest and most efficient. As for the Resorts World grounds, it's BIG. If you take the monorail or bus, they'll drop you right off at the atrium. For the people who love taking photos, there are plenty of photo opportunities everywhere, as well as places to eat or get snacks, including the food court. Our only gripe about the atrium was that it wasn't very well air-conditioned, although I guess you can consider it more of an outdoor area than indoor. For the casino, if you're a tourist, make sure to bring your passport or else you won't be able to get in. Also, if you have a backpack or big bag, be prepared to have to check it into a locker for a small fee. For such a large complex, the casino was actually pretty small compared to other casinos globally. There weren't a whole lot of tables or machines, relatively speaking. If you have a few days to spend in Singapore, Resorts World and Sentosa Island is definitely a nice spot to hit up for a half day trip, but honestly no more than a half day is needed to explore.

Yelp
This whole area was phenomenal! When I visit Singapore again, I'd like to stay on this island a bit more (for Universal again, zip lining, and cable car). This island has a ton to do, countless places to eat, and overall, it's fun! I stayed at the Hard Rock hotel and bought a package with it during the holidays which included tickets to Universal, the aquarium, the maritime museum, and more.

Yelp
This place is awesome. So colorful and full of cheer; it's a happy place and I love it. The casino is huge. There are buses that make the 4 hour drive from Malaysia on a daily basis just so people can enjoy the casino and resorts world amenities. I can definitely see why - Resorts World Sentosa is pretty phenomenal. Here, there is no need to wait for that trip to Las Vegas to visit one of Joel Robuchon's restaurants; Resorts World offers four Michelin Star restaurants in one setting: * Joël Robuchon Restaurant (3 Michelin Stars, the only establishment in Singapore to be given this ultimate accolade) * L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon (2 Michelin Stars) * Osia Steak and Seafood Grill (1 Michelin Star) * Forest (1 Michelin Star) Other dining options are also plentiful from Asian fare to Western Fare. Have a feast at Din Tai Fung, Kaya Toast and a Kopi at Toast Box, a Frappucino at Starbucks, and a donut from Krispy Creme, or a simple meal at Texas Chicken - it's all available to you. Resorts World Sentosa offers every type of food imaginable. And yes, you can even get your hawker food fix here if you're in the mood for perhaps Malaysian cuisine. Walk all that good off by taking in the scenery. Take photos of the Merlion or spend the day at Universal Studios Singapore. Resorts World Sentosa is great for family or solo travelers. This place is definitely a must visit!

Yelp
Resorts World Sentosa does not ring the same bell tolls as Macau, the Vegas of the East, casino empire of Asia. Upon entering a large signage in English and Chinese describes the very rigged dress code for Singaporean PR's and foreigners with inspection for valid photo identification of 21+ to enter premises. Warning: Smoking is permitted for those who highly detest this foul stench (like myself), but it is air conditioned equipped. No photography (flash or non-flash) is permitted inside as security is very closely monitored. Ergo, children are highly advise to visit a kid-friendly atmosphere as Universal Studios Singapore NOT Resorts World Sentosa. This casino is a fully integrated complex resort comprising of hotels, a convention centre, a museum, Universal Studios Singapore, lots of restaurants and cafes, including a concert hall plus the then 2010 world tour circus "Voyage de la Vie" in the 1,600 seat Festive Grand Theatre which, sadly, I was unable to see during my brief 2010 visit. Singapore brings the world to Asia.

Yelp
Interesting casino. Different entry requirements for locals and foreigners. Not permitted to take photos, so I only have one of the outside: notice the blue sign for locals and the red sign for foreigners. Special gaming zone for locals. High Stakes gaming area upstairs with even more entry restrictions for locals.

Yelp
Beautiful place! Just being there takes you to a different level of entertainment. I love the variety of different restaurants and cuisines. The place is mostly covered so walking around even at noon time is not so bad, they built the place for convenience of the visitors. From being organized in the parking lot to the clealiness of the bathroom, I give it a 5. However, staff friendliness can be improved. When I was trying to get our cable car ticket, the guy in the counter was not helpful in giving me direction for the right ticketing booth. He just told me use the other escalator and he was like irritated. It will be good if they can put more signs and directions of where things are. Overall, we still enjoyed our trip.

Yelp
Been to RWS so many times and yet there is always something new to learn about the place at our every visit. Like I mentioned in an old review of this mini island, Resorts World Sentosa has somehow managed to steal all the glory of the place ever since its opening in 2010. The old charm of the island is gone, sadly. But nonetheless, it sure is one happy place to be. Amazing 5-star hotels, restaurants, casino, convention centre, performance art theatre, Universal Studios, and etc... all are clumped together in this one resort. So don't be silly and come here with just shillings in your wallet. Also, for the first time I parked my car at RWS last Friday. Hahaha!! Of all my previous visits to this island, I had always painstakingly parked my car at the nearby Vivo City mall to avoid the crazy parking charges ($8 bloody dollar for the first hour! And $4 for every subsequent hour. Bloody hell!). But since this time round we could actually claim the money from our office... hehe! Why not take the advantage, eh? But yeah. Do remember to top-up your CashCards aplenty if you do decide to park here. Yes, I even snapped pictures of the carpark so that I can trail back to my car's location. Hell, the carpark is humongous!

Yelp
Shoulda Coulda Woulda....my thoughts now...use to come here when i was a kid...my recent visit was different....wish i was here all day but i only came here during the night to grab a few drinks...listen to live music and gamble... This is defiantly a place to have a fun filled time...Doesn't matter if you are travelling as a couple.... family or group of friends... this place has got everything to keep you engaged for a whole day....The island has amazing resorts too where you can stay and enjoy a luxurious time....You can easily take a MRT to reach here!

Yelp
When in Singapore this place is a must go. Good for a day out and kids will love it. I personally love the Cable Cars and the novelty shops. Don't miss the Hershey's and Candylicious for the sweet, chocolate and candy lovers.

Yelp
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is the first ever integrated resort, which accommodates hotels, restaurants, a convention centre, the Maritime Experiential Museum, Universal Studios Singapore as well as The Coliseum. The Coliseum is an arena located behind Hard Rock Café that holds rock concerts. It's actually a pretty great concert venue because you get to sit at the sidelines or jump around with the crowd in a cool, outdoor atmosphere. It's like Fort Canning Park without the mud and grass. The Convention Centre is pretty huge and versatile. I visited it once for the Transformers Cybertron Con this year and thought the place was really majestic. RWS is also a great place to snap photographs amidst abstract architecture, lush greenery and scenic views. Plus, there's also that iconic Universal globe. Despite all the good things that RWS has to offer, I'm rather disappointed with the food options here. Not many eateries are halal and if my memory serves me right, even the Malaysia Food Street doesn't offer a halal stall. There's The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf but just one café won't make a significant difference to me. Unless I'm inside USS where there are halal restaurants available, it's really hard to find something to eat over here. I'll usually just get back to VivoCity's Banquet.
google avatar

Raymond L.

Yelp
One of Singapore's two "integrated resorts" (read: casinos disguised as family-friendly destinations with the addition of other attractions), RWS is actually a great place to visit. Many come here for the casino, obviously. I've never actually been in there, since they make Singapore citizens pay S$100 per entry. There's no way I'm losing money even before I start to gamble! But the rest of the compound is a pleasure to stroll through, even though the environment feels typically artificial at times. For leisure, there's the famous Universal Studios, and lots of shops and restaurants. If you're feeling bored already, there's even the rest of Sentosa to explore!

Yelp
The only thing i dislike about this place is the location. Best gotten to by car. But if you were to take the MRT, alight at Harbour Front mrt and proceed to take a monorail to RWS ($3 entry fee). RWS' deco is relatively kitsch compared to MBS', which definitely gives of a more 'atas'/high class vibe. RWS houses a couple of exciting restaurants, one of which is Joel Roubchon's michelin starred restaurant. I find it troublesome getting to the hotels as you have to walk through the huge complex just to get to it. Further, they dont really serve authentic local food here (unlike in MBS, where they at least had a food court near the ice skating ring)/

Yelp
#SINGAPORE #SENTOSA I loved Resorts World Sentosa. Fair warning, I have nothing to compare it with, hence the experience was 5 stars. Firstly, for North American consumers, this place isn't overpriced. To do everything in the island, I am sure would be expensive. But if you're tourists and have a few hours in a day, they have some pretty great packages. I believe we go 3 attractions for 30 SGD before boarding the monorail. We possibly chose 3 of the best attractions in the list. Details below: S.E.A Aquarium: Best value in this deal as a separate ticket for just this is about 30 SGD. You walk in through The Maritime Experiential Museum - which isn't too great, but then you walk in to the aquarium and it's pretty mind-blowing. Definitely a must-do, especially if you haven't ever visited a marine aquarium. I have, and I still enjoyed it. Luge & Skyride: I can't explain luge but it was a lot of fun - think go-karting but not. And the skyride is basically like one of those ski lift rides. A tad scary - but great views! Wings of Time: This is an evening show. And although the plot is very very PG, the technicalities of the show is pretty great - parts of the story is projected in water mist shot in the air. Tons of cool effects. Beware of a few things: Novelty shops and food stalls are highly priced - even ice-cream places. Photographers will charge you $15 per photograph - complete rip off, don't even try. Tip: this is one of the best things in Singapore. So if you are a tourist, with kids or without, this is a must!
google avatar

Nick L.

Yelp
You have to have trousers/pants to get in here. I knew this beforehand so it's not like Vegas at all. Tries to bring an air of class to the place. It can't match up to Macau but they do an ok job here.
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
This is easy to get to by cab or MRT. The aquarium is here- which I love! There's a ton of shops, food and novelty things to buy. There's a universal studio. When driving in you can see Far Far Away which, to me a dreamworks nerd, is awesome. There's a ton of touristy stuff to do. Or you can just relax at the W hotel and swim in the gorgeous pool. I haven't been in the casino or taken the sky ride. The sky ride looks as if it provides great views of the island. I'll be back!
google avatar

Angel A.

Yelp
A trip to Singapore will never be complete without visiting Sentosa Island. We went there in the morning and used the walkalator instead of riding the tram (SG$3) or the bus (SG$2). It's exciting going there simply because you don't know what awaits you. Then, when we got there, I was easily stunned at how lovely it is. I loved taking pictures of the attractions. I particularly loved the Songs of the Sea and the beach. There were lots of things to do, and it's such a wonderful refuge for those who think the city's becoming too constricting. :) Sentosa Island is such a perfect place for vacationers. No one should ever let pass the opportunity to come here.
google avatar

Lina C.

Yelp
We even did not leave the island for 5 days until we needed to go home. So many activities and good restaurants. I went to S'Pore so many times in my life but Sentosa really changed a lot. Did not go to Trick Museum since the line was crazy long. Luv the waterpark... pay extra to get band to go to the front of the line.
google avatar

Tyler L.

Yelp
Great place with many different activities for very different tastes. The luge and zip line are great for adventure junkies. The whole island offers great views and is great for getting out of the city. The ticket prices are a bit much, but you'd expect it from a touristy island like this.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
This was a really fun place to visit. Lots of picture taking opportunities, and a very nice stroll to walk around and see everything. I went there once at night and return to do it all again during the day. There is a Hersey store, the iconic Universal Studios globe, many restaurants to include the Hard Rock Cafe and a Malay eatery, also the Coffee Bean and several other seafood and steak restaurants. Some nights they have a Crane dance on the water that runs for about 15 minutes and includes fireworks and 2 big cranes and tv screens. Fun for all. Vivo City is a short walk away and great for additional shopping and eating opportunities.

Doris S.

Yelp
Our hotel room comes with a loft and it was great for family of four especially the kids love the loft bed. Service was great but hotel a little crowded. Breakfast at the cafe was good but there is no free wifi.

Yelp
What a beautiful casino! It's huge! A gamblers dream. The bars are nice, some jazzy, some with unique sculptures hanging overhead. We went here three years ago, so this review is delayed, but we enjoyed ourselves. Roulette was fun!

Yelp
Poker room at Sentosa Singapore is the only poker room in the world, that allows smoking it shocking and they all smoke in your face when you get up you feel you just smoked 2 boxes how do they allow it is beyond me no respect for non smokers and they can help the smokers smoke less

Yelp
Family and I truly enjoyed this hotel resort. I have to say the restaurant on site had a fantastic buffet. One of the best I have experienced in a long time. I need to starve myself next time so I can eat more! Because the resort is apart of Sentosa island it's very convenient to use the bus and tram system to get around and see the full island. This particular hotel is probably one of the quieter ones on the island if you want privacy.

Yelp
Only Texas Holdém poker room in the country. However, it's run by a very unprofessional dealers and management team. Hope they change soon and quickly.

Yelp
Considering the hype Singapore gets, I expected the people to be friendly. Not to mention that their only source of income is tourism... I have dealt with rude people before, but like this? Never. I was definitely not the only one affected by their rudeness! I heard so many stories and experienced a lot of situations. For example, I went into 7-11 (the one next to Sentosa Express) with my mother (who is a wearing a hijab) and I don't. We waited in line and when it got to our turn, the employee let everyone go before us, and completely ignored us. My mom wanted to BUY top-up and then activate it, but he just wanted the money and blatantly told us he doesn't want to help us. So for one hour on our feet, exhausted at 11:30pm... we had to beg him to help us for a few seconds. He called in his friend to YELL at us, and call us derogatory terms. We had boughten the "StarHub" SIM card for our phones, and had to top up $18 everyday/every other day despite us hardly using the internet and our phones. During that day especially, my phone's internet or 3G wouldn't work at all, and my balance got from $18 to $0. Then I sat on with StarHub's hotline for 20 minutes to figure out to activate the top up (it was an unnecessarily and tedious long process) and REPAY. At fault were the 7-11 workers and StarHub. That is just one of the very rude and horrible encounters we had. Who yells and makes fun of a perfectly articulate and eloquent 17 year old girl? I am disgusted. (sorry if there's any grammar mistakes.. frankly I'm too tired to proof-read)
