Very good food and a great experience overall. I went for the à la carte rather than the tasting menu, and it was already excellent. The kitchen revisits traditional Polish and Eastern European dishes with a modern twist, and the wine selection is also very good. The setting is modern and open, with a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit in Kraków

Filipa 18 is a great restaurant but I would like to be honest with my review. When we walked in it was a bit awkward as the staff were around the corner near the kitchen so we weren’t greeted straight away, as we had to walk into the restaurant to find them. Then we put our own coats on the coat rack which was fine, but at fine dining it’s all about the attention to detail and I like for someone to take my coat for me. The table was set lovely with gorgeous silverware and wine glasses. Our waiter was very nice and he gave us some good recommendations. He even wore white gloves for touching our silver which I thought was a great touch. The starters were incredible! So tasty and we didn’t really know what to expect. We had the deer sausage and the goats cheese starters. Onto mains, my partner had the duck leg which I tried and it was absolutely divine! However, I ordered the chicken and it was very bland. Chicken was cooked beautifully but the sauce had no flavour and I couldn’t taste the truffle whatsoever, so it was a huge let down. I think it would have been much nicer with risotto instead of sunflower seeds. We had a very unusual dessert which was the crepe but it was like a dessert spring roll, I thought that was a great idea. We had lovely wine and some prosecco. Overall it was a nice experience but I have to rate it 4 star due to my main course.

Tonight, we had the pleasure of dining at Filipa 18, and it was an experience we thoroughly enjoyed. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, making us feel welcomed and valued. The food was nothing short of amazing, a testament to the chef’s expertise and the restaurant’s commitment to quality. Each dish was a delight, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavors that both surprised and satisfied. It’s clear that Filipa 18 doesn’t just serve food; they craft dining experiences.Thank you to the entire team for making our evening so special.

We chanced upon this restaurant as we were staying at Indigo Hotel (just upstairs) and decided to have dinner here. The food was amazing and we understood why they are part of the Michelin Guide. This has to be one of our best meals on our Europe trip this Christmas. The service was attentive and our food was served promptly after each course. And most importantly, the taste was of course amazing! Would highly recommend a meal here if you are in Krakow!

Great atmosphere of the place strengthened by warmth and professionalism of the waitress Weronika. Loved the ambiance, food and wines. Highly recommended for the modernly twisted Krakow classic dishes with corageous and fascinating wine pairings. Cheers!

What a wonderful experience we had this evening. Such a cool place with a very welcoming vibe. The decor is delightful but oh my goodness the food is absolutely top notch, as is the service 👌 Highly recommend!

My experience at Filipa 18 was extremely disappointing. We ate there while staying at the hotel. The waiter was both rude and unhelpful at every turn. They only have vegetarian dish for main course. We ordered two of them. For some reason, we were brought one of the dish on the menu and a different pasta from the bistro. The waiter said he misinterpreted our earlier conversation about whether the bistro salads were available at the restaurant and I found his apology over the mix up insincere. The waiter was rude when I asked if the amuse bouche was vegetarian. He gruffly stated that that he had already said that. He had said something but I didn't hear him. I haven't felt this unwelcome at a restaurant in long time. It's especially disappointing after staying many nights at the hotel. The food was underwhelming too. Perhaps the meat dishes are better but for vegetarians, this is certainly not one of the best 100 restaurants in Poland.

Good ambiance and great service. Julia or Julie apologies in advance was fantastic. The food was delicious. I went with almost all Polish influenced dishes. The pork with bun and pickles was absolutely delicious. Didn't love the apple pie.
