Very nice place to have a stop and rest while visiting the Main square. We only had a soup and something to drink, so I cannot say about other meals, but the tomato soup was very tasty and nicely served.

We stopped for pastries and it was terrible. We got a meringue and a piece of cake - both were terribly sweet and did not have a lot of flavor. Bad food is a common affliction shared by many restaurants on the main square.

A beautiful restaurant in the old town square. The food was beautiful! Full of taste and flavour. The service was good however the did bring the starter and main out together which felt like a prompt to eat and go. I got sat toward the bar and entrance to constantly had people walking past which was a bit uncomfortable and it meant to couldn’t experience the whole dining experience

Food’s fine, the interior is pleasant too, but the staff… either totally unprofessional or they just don’t care. A couple next to us left without anyone ever taking their order; two friends across from us sat for half an hour at a table still full of dirty dishes from the previous guests; a group of women who came in just to chat over a cup of coffee ended up waiting a good 50 minutes for their order... 🤦‍♂️

Food was acceptable. The deserts looked amazing, but a disappointment to eat. Cake was a bit dry and had a funny textured moose thing on top. Only win would be the hot chocolate which really was beautiful.

We only came here for a drink but dead quiet, waited ages to be served, then they got the dinks wrong. Beer flat and mulled wine was just a mouthful of cloves (13 in a cup of 150ml)…. We didn’t eat here thankfully.

Soups were nice, cakes and drinks were decent. I like the atmosphere inside the restaurant, but it was quite expensive here.

The cakes are excellent and the coffee is very good, with reasonable prices.👌 Unfortunately, the staff were unprofessional, uninterested, and sometimes rude, which spoiled the experience in such a lovely café. 😕👎

Terrible service. Servers are rude eve by Polish standards. They can't clean tables to be able to seat. Avoid at all cost.

We decided to visit Wentzl based on reviews. With the location and the view overlooking the square, it is a restaurant that shouldn't be missed. When you walk in, you will see the many photos of political and royal dignitaries who have visited over the years. Wentzl is on top of the Michelin and dining recommendations. We came in on a rather quiet night (given its winter and off season), but had exceptional service. I started with the pumpkin cream soup- and ordered the lamb, and my dining companion ordered the flank steak seared on an salt stone. Both were cooked to perfection. For desert: crime brûlée and chocolate chill soufflé. Portions were decent, and plentiful. The wine list is decent and curated across Europe, with a wide range in prices from moderate to bottles that support a deep pocketbook. If you are looking for an amazing dining experience, ask to be seated near the window and enjoy history as it unfolds before your eyes.

Good Location and service but poor quality desserts. I ordered the Crepe Suzette's and the pancake had the consistency of shoe rubber. It's clear they're not made fresh. Very disappointing for this price level. Complained to the waitress but she tried to convince me that I was in the wrong. Tourist trap locations tilt the advantage to the restaurants. After asking for supervisor, crepes were removed from bill. Would have preferred to have fresh crepes remade, but that was not offered.

Good food for a good price, very historic part of krakow, I do recommend that you check out this place.

Top notch restaurant in Krakow. Traditional food was outstanding.

Fantastic cream of the crop gourmet restaurant. I would say that it places in the Krakow top ten in this category. Food malts in your mouth and makes you want to close your eyes to concentrate your senses on contemplating it just a bit more. Service is exemplary. You can even get them to serve you a specific wine of your choice which is not on the wine list. Just need to specify when making a reservation. Rather formal attire applies unless you want to feel unwanted. Prices as usual for this type of "true" restaurant are adequately high.
