"The name Hantverket, which translates to “the craft,” hints at the kitchen’s dedication to the creation of classic Swedish comfort dishes, occasionally with international influences. Executive chef Stefan Ekengren, who is also a well-known writer and cookbook author, serves hasselback potatoes with bleak roe, sour cream, and spring onion; tuttul flatbread with slow-cooked pork and house-made butter, and the Scandinavian dessert änglamat with lingonberries, cracked meringue, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce. If you’re lucky, the chef will offer traditional Swedish smörgåstårta (savory sandwich cake) and rulltårta (sponge cake with compote and cream).
