Overall, this is a restaurant that uses good ingredients. However, there was no significant change in taste and texture throughout the course menu, as all dishes used fish as the main ingredient and pumpkin-based sauce. I would give 3.5 stars.

Great food quality and wine selection. Service was nice but really slow. After 45min since arrival we did not even get water. As we were not in a hurry and chatting it was ok but considering the haute de gamme of this restaurant it‘s surely not acceptable.

One doesn’t come here for the choice on the menu. It is very limited. However everything we ordered: a starter, 2 mains, and a desert, accompanied by 3 wines was excellent!!! The service too. Highly recommended for an easy evening. Consider the bouillabaisse.

Das 1718 ist eine außergewöhnliche Location im wunderschönen Ketschauer Hof. Die Küche lässt sich von Frankreich inspirieren und überzeugt mit viel Raffinesse, Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail. Das Restaurant verfügt über zwei Räume, die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten, und dennoch fühlt man sich in beiden sofort wohl und willkommen. Das Team vom 1718 ist freundlich, aufmerksam und zugleich angenehm zurückhaltend – genau die richtige Balance für ein rundum gelungenes Genusserlebnis. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Rundum klasse Restaurant. Es gab zum Abendessen ein hervorragendes 4-Gang Menü; ich würde sagen, ein Mix aus allem. Gepaart mit einer Auswahl an Weinen… Es ist sicherlich etwas hochpreisiger anzusiedeln, aber es lohnt sich! An aufmerksamer Service - einfach empfehlenswert

Wir waren zu zweit und aßen das 5- Gänge Überraschungsmenue. Der Service war sehr gut. Die Weinempfehlung war sehr gut. Das Essen war sehr fein. Keine großen Wartezeiten. Alles war wirklich gelungen, bis auf den Espresso am Ende! Der ist dem Restaurant nicht würdig! Eine normale Gastroware, nicht heiß genug und damit nicht schmackhaft! Im Hotel machen sie es viel besser!
