A few nights ago, our long-awaited dinner came with high expectations. Although the food was good, it fell short of our anticipations. None of the dishes elicited a "wow" from us.
When the dish before dessert arrived, we were served something that had been flash-frozen with nitrogen. When I took my first spoonful, it stuck to my tongue, causing a cold burn. My husband also experienced the same problem. Unfortunately, we were unable to eat or drink anything after that.
The initial waitress nonchalantly responded "OK, OK," then the younger one apologized repeatedly for the unpleasant experience. I would also add that this waitress wasn’t able to explain the entire menu in English - which was quite poor.
To summarize, we ate in many Michelin restaurants, this one doesn’t deserve this star!
Oh and the compensation was - reducing the 2 glasses of sparkling wine from the check.
