A very lovely Christmas dinner. Seven courses with many small side dishes and drinks. An exquisite wine pairing. A relaxed atmosphere and super friendly service. We would love to come back. Best regards from Aachen.

Absolutely amazing, some of the best food we' ve had recently! The freshness of the ingredients and the unique flavors were unforgettable. Perfectly balanced dishes and beautifully presented. Also, the service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect without being overbearing, while they seriously considered our special request and ensured I had a safe and delicious experience. We will definitely return! ☺️

They really deliver on their promise: 50% cosiness, 50% great food! Really recommended. Excellent wines too, surprising tastes and affordable compared to other fine dining restaurants. Would go back! They adapted the meal based on diet which waswonderful. You can do them a favor and let know in advance if you have allergies or dont like stuff like seafood, lamb etc.

Ever had food so amazing that it made you angry? Like, Restaurant 55 has figured this out, why can’t all restaurants get it? We had the chef’s three course and it was one amazing experience after another. Staff was so friendly and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended !!! Raw chickpeas were delicious 😉

The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the food they served, making us feel right at home. The menu at Restaurant 55 is a testament to the chef's creativity and love for the profession. We enjoyed a fantastic four-course lunch that included surprising and very tasty dishes. The appetizers were a delightful start, featuring homemade sourdough bread with delicious dips. The main courses were equally impressive, with each dish prepared with great attention, care, and an eye for detail. The chef's love for experimenting with new flavor combinations was evident in every bite. One of the highlights of our meal was the spectacular presentation of the dessert, accompanied by a cocktail that perfectly matched the flavors. The popcorn milkshake with coffee and the homemade limoncello were the perfect ending to an unforgettable lunch. Restaurant 55's commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience is reflected in the many extra touches they offer. From the knowledgeable and pleasant service to the beautifully prepared dishes, everything was perfect. Impeccable. From reservation to food, pairing wine, staff, and the vibe. I read through the comment and wonder if it is so good before dining. And it is real.

Visited with a group of 6 and chose the 6 course menu with wine, caviar and oyster to start with. Cozy ambiance with jazz music in the background. Staff is friendly and takes care of their guests. The duck was incredible.

Such a lovely restaurant! We chose this restaurant based on good reviews when we were passing by Maastricht after a weekend away nearby and I am so glad we found this little gem! From the aperitif & oysters, amuse bouche to dessert, everything was wonderful and creative. The hostess is very charming and super friendly, explaining everything in English and again in Dutch. Such a nice evening. Highly recommended!
