"Situated at the entrance to Ostuni’s historic centre, this restaurant is part of the luxury Paragon 700 hotel. The charming dining room combines historic features with a more modern decor, while the exclusive garden is perfect for dining alfresco in fine weather. The menu offers a concise selection of classic Italian dishes at lunchtime, while in the evening the chef conjures up more high-level and elaborate dishes showcasing strong technique." - Michelin Inspector

Leonardo is the best bartender, the staff here is Great beautiful location and grounds i am here every year. The food has fluctuated, the first couple times I ate here it was amazing the last time I was here to eat we did the tasting menu it was very disappointing. I imagine its hard to keep chefs when you are seasonal so they have probably gone through a few chefs. So I will give it another chance at some point, but in the meantime I will be there religiously for Leonardo and his amazing drinks and atmosphere!!

American vibe with old town, comfort but American prices and tips expected. I was a little taken back when I paid the bill. I felt like it was definitely overpriced for the area and I typically only like to go to local Italian places. If you want the local Italian vibe do not go here. There are so many places in this area that you can go to dinner, but if you want the USA vibe drink cost, etc. this is not my idea of Italy.

Dining at Restaurant 700 Ostuni was exceptional! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed with warm, genuine hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with tasteful decor that beautifully reflects the charm and history of Ostuni. The menu is a true celebration of Puglian cuisine, thoughtfully curated, seasonal, and full of local soul. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, both visually and in flavour. Equally impressive was the wine list, offering a superb selection of local and Italian wines, expertly recommended by the staff. Service was faultless, attentive without being overbearing, and deeply knowledgeable about the menu and pairings. Restaurant 700 is a true taste of Puglia with a touch of refinement. We left already planning our return!

Fantastic meal, best during my time in Ostuni. I did the chef's tasting menu where you don't choose the dishes in advance, so I was quite surprised with everything. Presentation, flavor, and quality of ingredients were quite impressive. The starter breads were all very nice, in particular the crusty brown bread. They also offer a few amuse-bouches and dessert truffles. Below I ordered the house-made tagliatelle with uni cream and lime powder, the dessert was a plate of quince fruttine (similar to pasticciotto) with cinnamon cream, the green dish was cod with fava beans, and the spoon was a mojito and lime pre-dessert. The decor is also nice and I was fortunate to get an indoor seat (it was a brutal 34C or so that day). I used stairs to get into the main dining area, so I'm not sure if the restaurant is totally wheelchair accessible.

The staff were attentive and accommodating. It’s a stunning setting, but I can’t score the atmosphere highly when it was empty - surprising for a Friday night in July (even if it is before the height of the season). The food was mixed. The scallop, coffee and almond milk dish was a chef’s experiment that just didn’t work. The signature pasta dish was okay but not garlicky enough considering it was billed as a black garlic pasta. The chicken and cod dishes were good. But overall everything was too cold. I don’t know if the kitchen had an off night, but what we had didn’t match some of the reviews we’d seen.

One of the most stunningly beautiful, delicious, and innovative restaurants I've been to anywhere. Very much a once-in-a-lifetime kind of meal, though I hope we can someday return and stay at the hotel, too, which was gorgeous. Hot tip - even if a meal is out of your budget (it's ~100 Euros/person), the bar snacks and drinks are quite reasonable, and equally stunning. Don't miss Leonardo (the ludicrously talented barman) and Visnoo (service captain at the restaurant), who made the experience for our group of 5.

Good location/great setting ... that promises. Well it certainly did deliver. Michelin star level. Fantastic dishes, great taste in a nicely decorating dining area with open kitchen. Wines were great too. It will cost you double of what you spend in a local restaurant (for a complete meal) but it, for us, was well worth it!

The "Around the Country" tasting was an incredible, mind-blowing experience! We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we were not disappointed. The ambiance, service and food were exceptional. We loved the modern and progressive approach to each course, and all the additional little bonus treats that were served in between. Our favorite bites were the duck and tiramisu courses. Restaurant 700 has a special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to return to Ostuni and experience it all over again. Grazie mille!
