Most of the low Google scores date back three or four years, and our visit was much better. Service was friendly, and the food arrived in a reasonable time, not rushed yet never slow. Everything tasted good, with the tartare and the fresh fish standing out. A generous bread selection arrived before the main dishes, a nice touch. Prices match typical Helsinki levels, so they are not cheap yet fair for the city. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Great food, a bit pricey but it reflects in the quality. Mains were delicious, and the seasonal rhubarb pancake with ice cream was very tasty and refreshing. There was a slight issue with the sides as they came very late, but the waitress in charge was very understanding and gave us an extra dish. Otherwise, everything was very fresh and well cooked.

It was very nice but expensive and we had to wait for a rather long time for our meals. The food was excellent but the chairs were a bit uncomfortable and the tables shaky.

This location is the perfect place to stop on the way back after the hikes around Suomenlinna. The wine options are outstanding and the service was among the top-tier experiences in our week in Finland. We only stopped for a snack but had a life changing experience with their bread. One might say that their bread and butter board is a religious experience. We opted for a snack set with a dessert, so we ordered the radicchio salad with almonds and goat cheese, gratinated herring with pomegranates, and the milk chocolate tartlet with gooseberries. Everything was outstanding.

Amazing atmosphere, excellent food and kind service. We were three people and went with a five course meal to share, and it was perfect. Beautifully made with in-season ingredients and overall super enjoyable. Thank you!

Everything about this place is special. The food, the dranks, the secret garden…absolutely make this a priority when you’re in Helsingi.

The restaurant has a great ambience and serves amazing food! I was served by Laura and she explained the menu options and helped me decide on my meal. I had a pike perch with parsnip and tarragon sauce and it was honestly the best dish I have ever had!! It was a superb flavours and textures combination and it was also presented nicely. With it I had a Finnish lager. Altogether, an unforgettable experience! I’m so glad that I decided to dine in this restaurant. And Laura was super helpful, friendly and attentive. Thank you for making my day:)
