I had a delightful autumn inspired lunch at Allen in my recent visit to Seoul in mid-October. From the get go, everything was thoughtfully orchestrated ... the specially prepared pumpkin infused drink cleared my palate & allowed me to taste every morsel of carefully crafted dish that was served thereafter. Nothing stood out but together, every element of ingredient made sense. And it struck a chord with my taste buds in search of the fall harmony found in the tubers, mushrooms & chicken featured in the menu. When I think autumn, I think comfort - Chef Allen & his wonderful Head Sommelier, JoonHo, brought me to that place in that afternoon ... thank you!
