Restaurant Amelys

A great option to have dinner on a Sunday night in Central Luxembourg. Attentive, multilingual staff, fresh foods and a fine selection of worktable European wines. Wonderful Hugo cocktail, too! Absolute delight!

I went to Amelys at Hotel Royal for dinner to experience the ambiance and taste the chef’s signature dishes. Since my parents are organizing my PACS celebration dinner there. Programn will be an apéritif at the Piano Bar followed by dinner in the main restaurant etc. I wanted to get a feel of the place. It turned out to be a lovely summer evening: fresh ingredients, a refined yet warm atmosphere, tasty dishes, and staff who were both helpful and genuinely kind. Can’t wait to be back for the dinner and also perfect to go out for dinner ona casual evening with friends and family.

Classic French atmosphere and food, full of proper etiquette, good service a and fantastic food.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Sunday brunch at Restaurant Amelis, and I must say, it was worth it. Oysters, fish, delightful cremant and mouthwatering desserts - it was a culinary delight. The service was genuinely pleasant, adding to the overall experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Plan ahead: this place is quite popular - make a reservation at least two weeks in advance, as it's often fully booked. Highly recommended for a memorable foodie experience or a small cozy birthday party with friends.

Amazing place, ambiance, food and customer service. Loved the fish, banana-lemon flavoured ice-cream and fresh ginger tea. Everything was just perfect.

Every time I am in love with œuf Bénédicte au saumon and very good coffee. Bravo!

Dessert (see pic) was amazing, best item I had on menu. Unfortunately steak wasn't as good as anticipated, rest of sides were decent. Staff were nice and attentive. Breakfast options very good.

A fellow traveler had her purse stolen right off the table while at the breakfast buffet 30 feet away. Generally the food selection was good but when you order an omelet, you don’t expect the eggs to be raw in the middle! Had to send it back.
