19.20 by Norbert Tarayre

"Built in 1928, the Prince de Galles is a legendary jewel of the Parisian Art Deco movement. It has chosen to democratise luxury hotel cuisine by entrusting its kitchens to Norbert Tarayre, the firebrand chef discovered on French TV show Top Chef in 2012. In a cosy setting that pays tribute to artistic life in Paris, the chef serves up traditional cuisine that channels the tasty regional cooking of yesteryear: grated carrot salad, leeks in vinaigrette, celeriac in remoulade dressing, pork shoulder and pommes Anna, salmon tournedos – not to mention the dessert trolley. It's all lovingly prepared and delivered at incredibly reasonable prices." - Michelin Inspector

We were with two children one of which is 2 years old. Restaurant was excellent from the very first welcome until the check out. High quality and chique utensils, Very kind and friendly staff, a warm and elegant ambience and delicious kitchen. Prices were fair and did feel that we had a good deal. I will definitely recommend this experience to my friends and family. Many thanks to the restaurant staff.

This incredible cocktail bar in the Prince de Galles (A Marriott Luxury Collection property) offers a nice, intimate setting to enjoy amazing craft cocktails, we well as the usuals. They have an amazing collection of rare cognac as well. We stopped in a few times during our stay at the hotel, sitting at the bar twice and outside, in their courtyard once and each visit was excellent! The bartender, Tristan is incredibly knowledgeable at making great cocktails. He’s also very friendly, engaging, and he speaks perfect English to help customers as best as he possibly can. The decor is incredible! Such a beautiful place with perfect attention to detail!! We look forward to returning to this property and enjoying cocktails here again!

After trying every Michelin star in Paris, and redoing most of them, I’m also testing the new Michelin entry. So waiting for the new Star I went to try this one. It’s a very beautiful bar/restaurant in a prestigious hotel. The table are nice, the plate are nice, the glasses etc… Everything is a the level of the place. We had the menu. It’s really not expensive for the setting (less than 50€ to dine in a 5 stars hotel, it’s clearly a bargain). Which means that you cannot have a classical gastronomic restaurant experience for that price, but more an upscale brasserie. Which is fine and fair for the price, and still a bargain. Note that the chef (who was not there when we went) is quite famous in France. Just Michelin guide restaurant, the 5 stars are for the price/experience ratio

The place is great and chic, very nice people, the food is quite amazing, good wine selection. Easy for a lunch with a menu at 49 euros , 3 courses , in a palace. Glass of wine : 12 to 18 euros. You can have a cigar in the patio: it’s Priceless.

Brunch experience The pros : some very interesting dishes on the buffet, particularly the savory section, such as the fresh oyster, the beef, the freshly made Caesar salad or the foie gras. The cons : experience was below expectation, starting with a long queue to access the restaurant (not what you expect for a restaurant from this standing). Room is very busy and buffet area feels “crowded”. Waiting time for the warm dishes is too long. We were told that there were many guests…Some of our orders were forgotten.

I was there for brunch with a close friend of mine and honestly everything was perfect from the food to the ambiance … there’s nothing I could complain about. The savoury and sweet buffets were filled with delicious dishes : oysters, crab, gaspacho, flan, chouquettes … Two things I highly recommend are their mashed potato and their sourdough baguette is was kinda the cherry on the top of the icing of the cake

I would give 4.5 stars, if I could. The bar is very nice, ambience is good, staff are very kind, & the champagne cocktails we had were very good! The only issue we had was that the service was a bit slow, & it wasn’t that busy. We were there at 6:45 pm on a Saturday night before our 7:15 pm resv at Akira Back (the restaurant just next to the bar).. we didn’t make it to our resv until a little after 7:30 pm & it wasn’t because we drank slowly. We would come back to do the same if we eat at the restaurant next door, but we’ll allow ourselves more time.
