Restaurant & Bar Madame B

What a wonderful and delightful experience here ! We were wandering around the area and happened to stumble upon this restaurant. We did not have a reservation, but the staff graciously seated us. Their lunch menu is superb! I really like that you can choose if you want 2, 3, 4, or 5 dishes for a set price, and you get to choose your menu items & dessert. I tried their skate wing fish, risotto, assorted cheeses, catch (salmon) on the day, yuzu sorbet with sorbet, and celery/pear biscot dessert. Each dish was executed beautifully and cooked perfectly. All the dishes here were incredibly tasty, decent portions, great textures, super flavorful. We loved it. Very good service, incredibly attentive staff. Definitely recommend this place !

Delightful restaurant a short walk from the center of Bordeaux. Exceptionally attentive and friendly service, and a beautiful dining room. The food was excellent from an asparagus starter, to sea bass on chickpeas and a delicious dessert of strawberry and lime sorbet with caramel and cream (sorry, partially eaten). Highly recommend a trip to this restaurant which is part of the boutique Hotel Burdigala.

It’s a very elegant atmosphere where you can enjoy very authentic French food with twist . From refreshing starters to very artistic desserts, the restaurant delivers faultless experience that you will remember.

I really loved the experience, from the aesthetics of the place to the concept of the menu and the great service. The food was delicious! We were 2 people and took the 3 plates menu each. The portions are fair specially the hot dishes. Appetizers are out of the box, but the hot dishes are just amazing. We got the asparagus and vegetables as starters, and took the beef (was exquisite!) veal and fish and finished with the fraises dessert. Would definitely go again when in Bordeaux.

What a fantastic restaurant! I loved how delicious the food is and the lack of pretenciousness. The duck was phenomenal. The best I ever had, truly. The drinks and dessert were also outstanding. Not the cheapest option in Bordeaux, but definitely worthwhile. Would go back for sure.

Food was excellent and service was good! A great price for a Michelin recommended restaurant

Not as fantastic as what reviews make you think Disappointed although there was nothing wrong in particular (except possibly a tough duck and undercooked cabbage).
