Wanted to visit Marv and Ben but couldn't secure a seat, the staff there recommended us Anton said they share the same owner with a different concept. The staff at Marv and Ben was friendly, so we decided to give it a try.
Anton is an old-fashioned restaurant with delicate decoration. They serve outstanding starters, the cabbage terrine was perfectly executed, the sauce was so good that I could just enjoy it on its own; and the hamachi was fresh and appetizing. The main dishes were decent, not special. However, I dislike their sides, romaine lettuce and roasted cauliflower, their flavors didn't balance well. Romaine lettuce was too acidic, and the taste of the cauliflower was jarring. We almost couldn't finish them.
The female staff was "efficient", she wasn't rude, but I felt stressed when she urged us to order the sides which we didn't plan to order.
