"Small, intimate, lively and popular, Atelier Gourmet is quite simply a great little restaurant. The food is fresh, delicious and good value for money thanks to chef Bousquet. It is served in a casual, friendly atmosphere with efficient service and good wine recommendations from the female owner. Try the capon and duck crépinette." - Michelin Inspector

The atmosphere is nice and you can hold a normal conversation - it is not too noisy. The service is excellent and the food and wines are really something to try and enjoy withouth rush. The dishes are a variety of contrasts that you can enjoy with your friends or yourself. The price is according what you get, at least during my dinning experiences. As a suggestion I would recommend some clima (not ventilator) as the summer is hot and it will tend to be so.

Fantastic food with personal service in a cozy small room! We enjoyed a 5 course dinner for 2 people on a weekday night and it was a splendid experience. The food is extra-ordinary (the literal sense of the word), very interesting and different ingredients and overall well balanced tastes. The highlight definitely is the current extra starter they have (scallops on a buckwheat crêpe with kimchi mayo, sesame and basil - absolutely breathtaking). What I really liked was their flexibility, we could have 2 different starters and 2 different desserts! The service is supercute and personal, giving flexibility and pacing the meal nicely. They create a relaxed atmosphere but also lets the time fly by with their entertainment. Also the chef is so nice and approachable. The ambiance is the biggest area of opportunity, though it’s still very cosy, definitely professional and inviting: lots of tables for two and an overall small space make it intimate. However, it could use some more soft and warm lights and some color. The decoration on the tables is cute though, with different small fresh flowers on every table. Overall very recommendable and definitely a great price for what you get!

Delicious food with a variety of flavors and textures that were incredible, with good harmony between dishes and the drink pairings. We had the alcoholic and the non-alcoholic pairings, and were mostly impressed by these. We paid 250€ for two people, with their full 7 course meal. There are only 2 reasons for not giving 5 stars, 1st I found 2 rather big fish bones in one of the small filles, which at this price is not great. But the second major reason is that the 2nd to last dish left a bit to be desired, being simply a plate with 3 small pieces of unremarkable cheese and some pleasant candied fruits.

Highly recommended. The quality of the food is absolutely delicious. Also their service is friendly. Please send our thank you to the hardwork Chef in the kitchen. If for improvement I would think the last one bread with cheese the flavour can be better.. maybe change the sort of the bread. The parfait and glaces was yumm.

10.4.24 I returned to the restaurant following my wonderful experience of two years ago ,and I must say it just got better. Spent 4 wonderful hours with a friend, enjoying every bight of food every sip of wine , and the wonderful service. As last time I recommend to everyone who enjoys food and wine , if in Munich this restaurant is a must. A wonderful experience. The food was great and so was the service. Had a 7 course meal that took 3 wonderful hours If in Munich try it, you will not regret it

Absolute gem of a restaurant. Only a handful of tables, so an exceptionally intimate setting. Staff was outstanding and spoke multiple languages flawlessly. Food was superb and well paced. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area.

Google
Cute little friendly restaurant with nice atmosphere and creative modern dishes. I would not say traditionally French, but delicious in their own way. Take the 4 course meal and you will be plenty full by the time you leave. I was very impressed by the Ceviche, again something not expected. Wine pairings are quite on the right taste profile so worth paying the extra to really enjoy the experience.

Yelp
If I come to a restaurant, do NOT give me chicken. It doesn't matter if you dress chicken up with a fancy sauce, it's still just chicken, the cheapest meat. The chicken wasn't even more succulent or tender than any other chicken. Chicken will always just be chicken. I also don't know if it was racism but the table next to us got the same "surprise" 5 course meal but got a red meat. Additionally, when we asked for different desserts, the waitress was "unsure" if it could be possible even though the desserts we asked for were on the 4 course tasting menu. Idk what type of sham establishment this is but it's one of the worst Michelin rated places ever. I would have been more happy at the local kebab place than this overpriced restaurant that charges me 45euros for a slab of nasty leftover Oktoberfest chicken. Also they charge 7euros for water, you're better off with red wine so you can wash away the taste of the disgusting chicken and pretending it was steak.

Yelp
Probably the best French restaurant in Munich!!!! And the best French food I have ever eaten. The restaurant is a small cozy atmosphere in the French quarter in Munich. Service is very friendly and super professional. I had a fish allergy and they were able to accommodate me last minute unlike many restaurants in Munich. The food was absolutely delicious and work of art. Each bite I wished if would last forever. Very good selections of wines. The owner is super friendly and delivers a wonderful evening. Reservations are required. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
An absolute must and a French restaurant that you will not forget so easily. It is one of these small restaurants that you could easily miss when passing by. But open the small door and move aside the small curtain at the door and you will be pleasantly surprised. The Atelier Gourmet offers a large variety of suburb wines, champagne and desert wines that just enrich all of the wonderful varieties of meals that are offered. And there is even a wonderful set of 3-5 set meals offered with a wine collection in case you just in for a surprise. Make sure to try the Foir Gras, it will melt in you away. All in all I was really positively surprised by this exquisite restaurant. The service was polite and eloquent. If you are not into French food than definitely make sure to visit here as it will certainly change your mind. Chapeau!

Yelp
If I had to summarise my experience at Atelier Gourmet in two words, I would say it was "surprisingly fantastic". Every dish I had at Atelier Gourmet had some ingredients that might sound, at first, repulsive (e.g. duck liver, IIRC), but it was executed to perfection. All five dishes I had at Atelier Gourmet were flawlessly delicious; the admittedly expensive tab was undoubtedly worth it. The servers were very friendly, propping up a blackboard with the english menu on a chair near us, just so we didn't need to crane our heads to see it on the wall. Loved it! They also had great wine recommendations. All in all, the Bib Gourmand status is well deserved. Thank you, Atelier Gourmet, for this delicious meal.

Yelp
I came here late last night when most of the other restaurants were closing. They had a few tables left but were very accommodating. I must say their food is divine. The amuse bouche of beets and bean puree they gave me was surprisingly delicious. The rabbit agnolotti appetizer with oyster mushrooms, celery mousse and white pepper sauce was perfectly flavored-- I couldn't help myself, I cleaned the plate with the fresh bread they gave me. The entree of tender slices of aged beef with root veggies, chips, and croquettes was a work of art. The masterpiece was the chocolate ganache lava cake with chiboust creme, blood oranges, mini macarons on top of delicious dollops of chocolate hazelnut , raspberry puree, mint leaves, orange zest, and a crunchy wafer. The service was awesome here. It's one of the best experiences I've had in my time in München. The waitress was extremely friendly, patient in explaining all the food, introduced me to great wine pairings, shared my passion of food, and just basically made me feel welcome and added another level of happiness to my meal. I recommend this restaurant to all foodies and anyone looking for a great meal experience. To add the cherry on top: they take credit cards. :D

Yelp
Wonderful food wine and atmosphere. The combination of flavors in the food was spectacular.
