"This fine 18C building by the River Saône feels like a cross between a hip guinguette and a country house. The food is resolutely contemporary, but for all that does not neglect French classics, a case in point being the wonderful pan-fried frogs' legs. A culinary moment to savour on the peaceful, cosy terrace." - Michelin Inspector

Just incredible food, amazing flavours, superbly presented and we were really well looked after. Would recommend strongly that if you are in the area you give this a try, you won't regret it

A very pleasant surprise. The restaurant is by the river Saône and surrounded by trees. Not far from major roads but sufficiently remote that it's a quiet spot. The building is picturesque and the garden is charming. Access to The restaurant could be improved as it's not immediately clear where you are supposed to park. There is a general feeling that the first impression you get of the building doesn't quite do justice to the quality of the food. Which is absolutely excellent. The restaurant offers affordable lunch options but is significantly more expensive in the evening. Yet this is justified by the quality of the food. We did wait a little long for desserts and the staff, although competent appeared slightly overwhelmed by the influx of customers who arrived mostly an hour after we did, which was eight in the evening. All in all it's definitely worth a visit and even though we chose this restaurant because it wasn't far from the hotel we were staying at, it's actually a place worth driving to for its own sake.

A Toque Blanche restaurant featured in the Michelin Bib Gourmand guide, we gave this haven a try. Nestled just right beside the Saone river with willows dwelling down, I just can't imagine how pleasant it'd be in summer, with a glass of "apéro". Food is delicious, nothing over the top.....once in the mouth, you can taste that it's prepared with Passion! Even the floor service is warm and sincerely guests oriented. Truly reasonably priced for what it's worth, I am glad & happy that this artisan restaurant continues to strive through post Covid & despite the current economic condition. This ONE goes into my personal fav list 😉

Excellent food, excellent service. Our favourite dishes were our main: chicken with a morel sauce and beef fillet with girolles and a delicious stuffed courgette flower. If I had to be picky I'd say the fois gras was slightly on the salty side but it didn't prevent me from eating it all.

Very good find thank you google map! On way to Beaune and need to have lunch so the setting and the previous reviews helped me to find this place but the other photos are not as good as the real thing ! My lobster main course is amazing and light !

Usual high quality of meal and service even with the owners elsewhere. Full Marks to their team for delivering another great evening.

Frederic and his wife continue to make changes and improvements to this lovely place beside the Saone. A new menu was exciting and did not disappoint - if you get a chance try the Olive Soup (although the other starters are all delicious). Also new faces in the team - smiling, friendly and attentive. Good to see them so busy on a Wednesday evening - makes booking in advance important.

Excellent meal as usual served on a beautiful terrace by the river. Been a client for five years. Highly recommended.
