"An 18th Century gunpowder store is the home for this restaurant in the semi-wild waterside area of Margretheholm. Its unassuming exterior and pared-back dish presentation belie the supreme skill and enormous amount of flavour in each course. Exceptional produce is given the space to shine thanks to refined, thoughtful combinations; just-cooked monkfish, for example, is enhanced by a fine ragout of morel mushrooms, a red wine and fish stock reduction and a vin jaune emulsion. An absolutely exceptional dining experience. During our trip to Copenhagen, we chose Aure after exploring many fine restaurants — and everything was simply perfect. The tables were well spaced, offering a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Service was seamless and precise, yet never stiff — it felt effortlessly elegant. The cuisine was outstanding, highlighting local ingredients with remarkable depth and harmony of flavors. Every course was engaging and beautifully executed. If we ever return to Copenhagen, this will be the first restaurant we revisit.

Aure is one of the newest Michelin star dining destinations in Copenhagen and absolutely worth it. The food highlights fresh local ingredients, the dishes aren't too busy/crowded, but packed with gentle flavours. The baby leek dish was the biggest testament to this philosophy - and probably my favourite of the whole 12+ course menu. Wine pairing was executed flawlessly, consisting mostly white wines. I'm very curious to see where they'll be in a couple of years, and I'm excited to come back.

What an experience! The service and food were top notch! I am not the biggest fish fan but this meal changed my opinion 100%. Such delicate and beautifully intentional dishes. Fiona was superb and very patient with us and our questions.

An Unforgettable Fine‑Dining Masterpiece at Restaurant Aure. The service is warm and thoughtful, with expertly paired wines and beautifully presented dishes. Aure captures the essence of Nordic fine dining with sincerity and elegance. A must-visit for any food lover in Copenhagen! We will come back!

Aure served primarily seafood in their current tasting menu which was perfect for us (menu in the last pic). All was delicious and it was great. My favorite would have to be the turbot with truffle

My husband and I had the most amazing experience at Aure. The food and service levels are unmatched. They did such an outstanding job of making our dinner a magical experience - from perfect wine pairings, to dedicated and personal service, and (of course) exceptional food. It was a once in a life time experience. We booked the chef's table and it felt like we were right in the kitchen with everyone, if you have the option to reserve the chef's table do not pass it up!

Food and service was amazing. The staff were truly so so nice and attentive. The chef comes over and talks to the tables as well. Would highly recommend. Most of the dishes were so good! Only a couple that I didn’t love but weren’t bad but that’s it. So many layers in flavors in all of the dishes and the plating was very pretty.
