Restaurant Bergamote

Really good. Got even more food than we felt we ordered and it was all delicious. The service was impeccable. A bit out of the way if you're staying downtown but worth it and easy to get to be Uber or subway

They were the nicest and sweetest people you could meet at restaurants. Not to mention the amazing dishes. I was there on my own at a dinner and they made it so welcome. All and every dishes were beautiful and amazing. Loved the bergamot butter. I could eat it with a spoon! Hated myself for feeling full. Wished I had more time to visit the restaurant again. I would give 10 stars! Thank you Bergamote staff! You made my visit in Lyon a worthwhile.

Bergamote was both delicious and very fun! The "surprise" menu structure was a bit daunting at first, but they did a great job and everything was very tasty. A lot of times you can walk away from fixed menus still slightly hungry, and that was not the case here. We did the 5-course with the wine pairing and everything was very generous. All of the dishes were very creative, using ingredients I wouldn't have thought to use, but getting great flavor and balance in the dishes. I particularly enjoyed how each course gave a sample of the centerpiece in 2-to-3 different formats go really appreciate the flexibility of the food. On top of tasting great, everything was very aesthetically pleasing and well plated. The team was very friendly and accommodating (both in reservation communications and during the meal). They clearly cared about us knowing what we were getting and learned the English for a few of the more niche ingredients and wine descriptors on the spot to be able to be able to clearly relay those bits. Overall, this was one of the more memorable dining experiences over the course of an extended trip, and I cannot recommend this more!

The restaurant exceeded our expectations. The service is friendly and not pretentious. The food is very creative, and each bites offers a taste explosion. We both loved every dish they served (my wife and I shared, so we could try everything) and the price is affordable.

Exceptional menu with super service.

A diamond hidden in the 7th. We went two times and it was amazing. The service is top and the food is on another level. They change the menu according to the season and you will have a lot of small surprises with the menu. I believe they gonna grow because you can tell the hard work behind.

Best meal I’ve had on our trip to France. The service was excellent and the food was inventive and absolutely delicious.
