"Bjørk, located above a shopping center in Bodo’s Glashuset mall, is a laidback, low-lit gem that has become a favorite among a well-heeled local crowd. The restaurant features a backdrop of exposed brick, flickering log fires, and decorative dried grasses. Its Italian-skewed menu includes wood-fired pizzas and generous bowls of pasta, while signature specials include an excellent grilled stockfish from nearby Vaeroy, topped with bacon and served with a poached egg and aioli potatoes."
The food was delicious. We had the wolf/cat fish and the chef recommendation menu. The chef menu had lots of varied and tasty courses. It would have been too much food for me but the other two with me loved it! Friendly service and calm atmosphere.

The wolffish here was absolutely divine. Don’t let the location of this arctic city fool you, this food is legit. And that’s coming from a Chicagoan who’s eaten at some of best restaurants in Chicago

I have travelled the world and eaten at many high quality restaurants. The grilled stock fish meal is the best meal I’ve had in my entire life. I can’t recommend this place enough. I will be going back each day I am in Bodø to experience this culinary sensation. If you ever meet a kid named Bjørk in Midwest America that is my child and they were named after this meal I’ve just had.

Where to begin - the food was cooked to perfection with filling portion sizes and packed with flavour, especially for the pizza and dessert. The wine choices were also excellent, each one complementing the meal. The atmosphere was perfect, especially for a one year anniversary celebration and the service from the staff was excellent - attentive, friendly and welcoming!

We came here with my parents during a trip in Norway. We were a bit in a hurry but the waitress was very comprehensive ! We wait no more than 15min and the food was excellent ! Can only recommend this place in Bodø ! ☺️

Pizza crust is soft and the pizza had a lot of cheese, ham and mushroom. Not very salty and is quite good.
Omelette was also tasty and i liked it very much.
Lastly, the pasta was the tastiest dish. The cream cheese made the pasta taste really good ans the bacon and chicken added to the good taste.

3 of us Stopped in here when we had a stop over on the Hurtugruten.
We had lunch and we had the soup of the day along with fish and chips.. yes how "Italian" of us. However that's what I'm like, it's their Norwegian take on it and it works.
Soup of the day was good, could have done with more fish in the soup but the taste was great. Their focaccia needs more work, probs a little more salt and seasoning.
Fish and chips was good. The fish was their local cod but was dried out which it what they call "Tursk" strange to me that you would deep fry already dried fish but I sorta worked and tasted good.
Not a bad spot for lunch.

I was planning to go somewhere else, but that wasn't open yet. I went here instead. The service is really good, quite some table's occupied, but I didn't have to wait long at all ,for my Pizza Bjork. It is one of the best pizza's I ever ate. It's very tasty and the Pesto and the Salami ,work really well together.

Yelp
I went here for dinner with friends. The ambience is casual upscale. It had a pleasant vibe. There are menus in Norwegian and English, and our server had no problem with English.
I started with the beet and Gorgonzola salad. I really enjoyed it. The beets were very sweet. The vinaigrette was perfect. All in all, a very good salad and quite large.
For the entree I had the stockfish which my Norwegian friends highly recommended. It is cod that has beef dehydrated then rehydrated and cooked. It comes with bacon on top for a smoky flavor. There was also a mash of green peas and a potato salad. There is also a poached egg on top.
It's a traditional dish in Norway but maybe it was a bit too different for this American palate. I would not order it again.
Service was friendly but not exactly fast.
Overall, it's a nice restaurant and I would return but would get something more familiar such as a pasta or pizza.

Yelp
Service is slow. Food is OK. Ambiance is OK.
I will not go back.
I'm being prompted by Yelp for more.
But that's all I have.
I guess I'll just add more filler.
But Yelp won't let me post.

Yelp
Great pizzas, especially the Bianco pizzas. Service can be a bit slow, and it is crowded at lunch time, expect a wait.

Yelp
What a MAGICAL find. Stumbled upon this place one early evening when it was way too cold to do anything else other than just go out for dinner.
Most importantly, the apple cake! DAMN. DAMN. DAMN. This apple cake is truly magic. No other sweet treat that we tried during our 3 weeks of travel could compare and I'm so sad that I live so far away. Bjørk, if you're reading this, you need to come open a restaurant in California so I can munch on your apple cakes forever!
The beer selection was great, the thin crust prosciutto pizza was insanely good and the pasta bolognese was wonderful too. But seriously. The apple cake.

Yelp
Very very good signature dish! Fried/bbq stockfish, pouched egg, potatoes in an amazing sauce, green pepperoot sweetness!! Must try!!! Have only heard about this before and now i got the chance! Very good beer selections too, for IPA lovers, some local brewery stuff with good taste and the right glasses! I am going back here!! Oh yes: the northern lights are dancing in the sky outside!! Perfect!
