Restaurant Blumé

We really liked the food, service, interior design, and atmosphere at Blume. My favorite dish was the Schol, and the amuse-bouches were also notably good. Their bread was excellent—another level entirely. However, the main dish (duck) and the desserts were nothing really special, though still perfectly acceptable. I very much liked my red wine; it was fruity and smoky. My partner had the wine pairing, but felt most of the selections were acidic, dry, sour, and heavy. I suggest they work on balancing the tastes of the selected wines, as the dessert wine was also simply too sweet. The cheese plate was good, but the selected cheese types were uninspired. The cappuccino was good 👍. Overall, it is a nice place to go for any occasion. However, if you are seeking a truly special, distinct fine-dining experience, it likely won't make your top list. Still, I can't understand the very low ratings; with its kind and welcoming staff, Blume certainly offers a pleasant dinner experience.

We had a really enjoyable experience at this restaurant, with excellent service and beautifully presented dishes. We went for the 5-course menu with wine pairings and liked almost everything. That said, a few dishes could have used a bit more flavor in my opinion. The lamb was definitely my favorite—cooked perfectly and really delicious. The amuse-bouche, though, wasn’t quite my thing. Starting the meal with wasabi ice cream felt a bit odd. It’s fine dining, so the prices reflect that, but if you’re into that kind of experience, I’d say it’s worth checking out!

Great service, and atmosphere is good. However, I am not sure why this restaurant has a Michelin star. The food does indeed look spectacular but the taste is a bit over the top (too much salt, too sweet, too much mayonnaise) plus the chef uses processed foods for some of the dishes (ginger cookies, and such).

had a dinner. Had a 3 courses menu with matching wine and oysters. Some additional great starters were served. The food was very tasty, fresh and kind of new. Wines were very good. Service was very attentive. All in all, very positive experience. Recommended.

We had the vegan 7 course tasting menu. Overall 4* due to amazing customer service, atmosphere, facilities, and food variety. However, having tried other tasting menus around Europe we thought the main course could have been better. It was a cabbage dish with crispy oats on top, but it tasted mostly like boiled cabbage and that’s it. Also, it was a nice experience but quite pricey for the portions we got, so we won’t be returning. But we enjoyed all the other small tasting dishes, the wine recommendation and the happy birthday wishes on the dessert. It could be that it’s an incredible experience for non-vegans, but for vegans I wouldn’t recommend.

Joung staff, friendly, very ambitious. Great food, good wine pairing. Take your wife out for a nice evening 😉

I don't usually leave reviews but I just had to--I had the 3-course set menu and it was easily the most delicious food I've had in a long time! Each dish was unique without trying to be "edgy." Everything was well proportioned and the courses were perfectly timed. The waitstaff were warm and attentive. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The best full course menu we had in a long time. It was a perfect night out. Top notch hospitality combined with great food and wines. We'll definitely come back again. For anyone who doesn't know what to choose: The 7 courses definitely worth a try. ;)
