Restaurant Bona Fide

Amazing. The focus is on the vegetable and there were some fish dishes. The bread and olive oil mixed with dried olive were great. Service was friendly and attentive. I could be easily a regular here. Some wines from the hand written wine list are really reasonably priced. Overall a really great experience.

Innovative menu and friendly service. Unfortunately, the combination of flavour didn’t quite work for me but I recognise it came down to personal preferences. I also felt the food to be over seasoned and on the salty side. The wine list is interesting.

The food was exceptional. All the ingredients were combined with a lot of art to create an exceptional flavour for every dish. Generous portions, nice atmosphere and very fair prices. Congratulations!

Really enjoyed Bona Fide. Their focaccia with dark olive tapenade was absolutely to die for. All dishes were full of flavor and the wine list was very good. The fish main was a bit salty but that's just my taste. Really well done!

My favorite restaurant. ”If a bouquet of flowers was a restaurant”. Everything is always so nice and I feel so at home here. The food is ethical and seasonal, with veggies, fish and game (no industrial animals) with creative e.g. vegan options. Wonderul combinations of flavors, both classical and experimental. The price to value ratio is off the charts. Usually when you leave a restaurant in Helsinki you’re left wondering how did this cost so much - here it’s the opposite. Lovely natty and traditional wines and great recommendations. The staff is incredibly knowlegable and friendly. Relaxed and unpretentious yet special. Will come here time and time again - thank you!

Excellent food, portion size typical for this type of establishment. Small, intimate restaurant with attentive service. Without a doubt the very best thing was their delicious, fresh focaccia bread and olive oil mix, which both kept coming as we finished our servings. Waitress told us we can have it as much as we want, which was absolutely lovely. Bravo! ⭐️

Amazing service and food. Every time we took the first bite someone said "wooow" out loud. Love the atmosphere and the local focus in ingredients.

On my short trip to Helsinki I visited a few of the city’s culinary hotspots and I must say this place was by far my favourite! The food was honest and the flavours were on point. Each dish was composed well without unnecessary elements. All proteins were cooked to perfection. I could find nothing to complain about. It was a truly welcoming experience without being pretentious or ‘trying too hard’ to be high class. From service, to food, and their wine selection, everything was simply wonderful. Definitely a must visit.
