Great portions, great taste. Too many shawarma places these days and most are mediocre at best, but Boustan was definitely a step up. The rice, chicken, sauces, seasonings were great. The oven baked pita was amazing but a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a once in awhile treat.

Google
A good spot for Middle Eastern food. Both the beef and chicken shawarma were flavorful and well-seasoned. The garlic sauce was especially tasty, creamy and full of punch. Portions are very generous, which is always a plus. The downside was the tabouli, which didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re craving shawarma and hearty servings.

I tried their shawarama first time and it was very good. Way better than many shawarmas. I would definitely come back. The service was good and even got some discount coupon to use next time.

Google
Unprofessional employee and the owner. Basic example our first order included crispy onions which is on the bill however not provided on the food. Owner started arguing and using unprofessional language. Basic language of a business owner should be humble. For a side of garlic sauce or crispy onions which costs literally $0 using that to lower the brand name.

Came to this plaza to get bubble tea and saw the balloons outside their store for their anniversary, so I decided to try something new for dinner and boy am I happy I made that decision! I tried their chicken shawarma bowl with half rice and half potatoes. It was so delicious. Meat was juicy, the Boustan and garlic sauce was to die for. Portion size was massive, they did not skimp on the meat. Staff had great customer service and helped guide me through the menu. This is definitely one the top shawarma plates Ive tried. So glad I found this restaurant. I will definitely be back to try out more things on their menu

Middle Eastern food is always a treat, especially falafel. We came upon this spot and decided to give it a shot. I really liked how there were vegan/vegetarian options available. I enjoyed the first few bites with the sauce but then realized that my falafel was super dry because the sauce was done. Every bite one after the other was pretty much the same bite, nothing really jumped out at me because it lacked flavour. I think they needed to add more pickled vegetables to really bring out those flavours more. I had also purchased a brownie and it was really tasty! The only downside was that it was extremely fragile, so it would break every time I’d pick it up. I’d compare this to a grab n’ go spot because of the lack of indoor seating, so be prepared if you can’t find a seat. The price is pretty good and the service was nice, a very friendly person helped us out! I would indeed visit again though, to see if it was just an off day.

Google
Shawarma was well made and tasted good high quality ingredients. It was a nice touch to replace the lettuce with shredded cabbage, thanks. Sampled the lentil-squash soup was very good and highly recommended it. Place has some few tables was clean and service was immediate and helpful.

Yelp
I tried a beef and chicken bowl. The chicken was tender and flavorful, which I preferred, while the beef had a good taste but a texture that leaned more toward jerky--something to keep in mind depending on your preference. The Boustan sauce was delicious, and the crispy garlic bits added a nice crunch. The customer service was excellent. They even offered me a sample of the pilaf since I wasn't sure whether I wanted to pick that or rice as my base. I got a regular-sized bowl for about $10, making it a solid, budget-friendly meal. My friends and I all really enjoyed it. I've also heard great things about their garlic potatoes, so that's next on my list to try!

Yelp
Strong flavors. Their chicken pita wraps are quite small but their oven roasted wraps are bigger with more filling. Their roasted potatoes as a side are very filling and taste good with their garlic and hummus sauce. They have daily deals which are quite reasonable!

Yelp
We got food from this location in the form of their party paks. Ordered one of each of their packs. The salad was fresh, I like that they do all of the dressing and sauces on the side to use as people see fit. The potatoes were flavorful and soft - cooked well and pairs well with all the sauces. Rice cooked well too. The chicken was decently moist and the wraps had a good quantity of meat and vegetables inside The one thing I didn't think was good was the beef - it tasted super dry. Decent flavor but just too dry. Price is over 100$ per pack which is pricey but you pay for the convenience.

Yelp
I recently ordered from here on Ubereats for their BOGO deal on their beef shawarma plates and chicken shawarma pitas. Overall, I think the value and taste of the food was good at the promotional pricing but I probably wouldn't order without it because I feel that there are better places at regular price. What I liked about their shawarma plate is that it came with both rice and roasted potatoes as the starch. However, the beef shawarma was just ok - the meat was a little more chewy and crumbly than expected - and the shredded cabbage was bland. I wasn't sure if the cabbage was meant to be that way since I was hoping for a side vegetable that was pickled (i.e. turnips or actual pickles). The portions were quite good though since the plate also comes with pita bread. As for the shawarma pita, I felt that it was also just ok - the chicken was a bit dry and the wrap itself was smaller than other shawarma pitas I've had.

Yelp
Okay coupons but the sauce is overwhelmingly salty and I can't taste anything else. Couldn't take more than a few bites of the wrap. No comment on service or ambiance as it was delivered.

Yelp
I have been waiting a long time for this to come to Toronto from Montreal. I will start that this institution is now a chain restaurant. With that comes small changes in quality. I tried the chicken shwarma and it is fantastic. Only issue is the chicken could have been a bit crispier. In Montreal they leave it on the spit till it is beautifully charred. The best thing is they grill the pita after. It is a good start and I feel will only get better. .

Yelp
Tasty Schwarma and Bowls. A good fast food option for a healthy meal. Liked the potatoes.

Yelp
Been here a few times and the consistency is amazing! I love the bowls but the wraps are great also. Chicken is juicy, potatoes are garlicky goodness and portions are huge! One bowl is easily two meals. Friendly service and quick!!

Yelp
Their posted menu has pictures of food on plates however what you get is this small portioned plastic tray .. very disappointing!!

Yelp
I just left Boustan and asked for a full refund. It was in fact funny/sad if not for the fact that I was really quite hungry. They opened a new one at longos plaza and the first server had no idea what he was doing and was litterly punching the cash register for 20 minutes with me as if he was entering my order (2 of their standard meals) and then somehow charged me for extras I did not ask for. He obviously had difficulty and also seemed to know nothing about the menu. I asked him to get help and he admitted that he was just training and really did not know what he was doing. I honestly felt sorry for him. The next employee started showing me almost empty containers of salad (as in there were 4-5 small pieces of tomatoes in one and she was explain to how she would scoop that in my plate)- I guess mostly vinegar dressing that was left at the bottom. The other salads were an avocado that had all turned brown and a fruit one that also looked like it had seen better days. At that point and about 25 minutes since I had arrived (about the time I would have thought I would be eating at least and not still ordering) I asked if they could just refund what I had already paid. I really hope they get their act into gear.
