"The atmosphere here is really neighbourly, almost intimate – you immediately feel welcome! This is due both to the appealing bistro setting and to cordial and professional proprietor and sommelier Fabian Fischer. He has a pleasingly personal touch in his dealings with diners and a clear enthusiasm when it comes to recommending the most suitable wine from a list dominated by German and French labels. Steven Zeidler is in charge in the kitchen, cooking up a creative take on classic cuisine that incorporates Asian flavours. His dish of Korean kimchi, Chinese XO sauce and Japanese dashi is a shining example from the set menu, of which a vegetarian version is available upon request. There are also a few small tables to be had on the pavement in front of the restaurant." - Michelin Inspector

Lovely tasting menu and wine pairing in a cozy space. 📝There were two tables for two by the window that are cute for dates where you face the street 😋The dishes had the classic fine-dining presentation. The flavors were creative and well balanced. Amazing execution of high-quality ingredients. My favorite dish was the lamb - the crisped fat and tender meat blew me away. 🍷Thoughtful wine pairing (love the focus on German wine) that supported the dishes well. ⭐️Service was personable and warm. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe which I love. The attention to detail was outstanding. Overall a lovely dining experience 💕 great for dates, small groups, and solo diners.

A lovely quaint restaurant tucked away from the chaos of Mitte. The food was the usual Michelin standard and the service was exceptional for its standards. I believe the portion sizes and flow of the dishes was curated with pedantic precision despite generating a very relaxed and casual environment. Perfect for a relaxed night out.

A wonderful evening. Service is top notch. Wine pairings were great. Food executed and presented at the expected quality. If I were to be picky I didn't love the carrot and sandthorn (Sanddorn) dish, but that's a matter of personal taste.

Awesome experience. Staff is very kind, really handy. They care to explain you in details every dish. I can’t remember her name, but I commend the staff member who walked us through the wine pairing. A wonderful experience. Useless to say that the food was delicious; even something as simple as bread and butter was made extraordinary. I loved that we had proper, think and tasty bread to accompany our other meal. We get out of Bricole with our belly perfectly full, and just a little tipsy! Best meal we had in a long time. Absolutely recommend

Foods were exceptional, and while there are already so many great reviews here, what truly surprised us was the alcohol-free pairing! We visited on a Monday night and didn’t feel like drinking alcohol, so we tried the alkoholfreie Begleitung ✨and it was absolutely wonderful, matching the food perfectly.👍 The first glass (jasmine tea + basil + forest honey) was light, slightly sweet and paired beautifully with the cucumber dish, the jasmine aroma made it complete. The biggest surprise for us was the herbal tea with smoked garlic and cherry! who would have thought it would go so well with duck liver? 🫶🏻💕 Other highlights were Genmaicha tea with orgeat and pepper as well as Hojicha with mushroom essence, both outstanding. We’ve never experienced non-alcoholic pairings on this level before, highly recommended if you want to discover a whole new way of enjoying food!

Dining at Bricole was a genuinely unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming, but what made it truly exceptional was the staff: kind, attentive, and so dedicated. When we tasted the pralines filled with raspberry cheesecake, we were completely blown away — they were the best we have ever had, and we couldn’t resist asking for more. The lobster with walnut & lime was divine, the duck liver mille-feuille rich and elegant. Every plate was a visual and culinary delight, paired perfectly with wine. It’s rare to feel so cared for and impressed - Bricole isn’t just a Michelin-starred restaurant, it’s a place that imprints itself in your memory and heart❤️ Thank you!

Bricole truly lives up to its Michelin star rating! From start to finish, our dining experience here was exceptional. The dishes were expertly crafted and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's culinary prowess. Despite its prestigious accolades, the ambiance at Bricole is refreshingly casual, allowing diners to relax and enjoy their meal without feeling overly formal. Personal favorites included the snow crab, cauliflower, and beef dishes – each one a culinary masterpiece. If you're looking for a memorable date night dining experience in a laid-back setting, Bricole is the place to be!

What a perfect little restaurant in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg! The food is amazing! Every single dish was so tasty I could have eaten a full plate. And the service was the best I’ve ever had: warm, attentive and fun, yet not uncomfortably posh that is sometimes the case with the star restaurants. We felt very much welcome throughout the whole evening. Thank you so much!🙏

Yelp
Great food, great location, great staff. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. We had our courses with the wine pairing, which we did not regret.

Yelp
This style of eating is right up my alley: lots of small, shareable plates packed with flavor for a robust and wide ranging gustatory journey. I love a huge bowl of noodles as much as the next person, but where my heart truly lies are several tastes of small bites. A smattering of appetizers, side dishes, tapas, you name it--I like variety. And here at Bricole, that's what they specialize in. You can order a la carte items, or try one of their four prix-fixe options with a pre-selected number of small plates. You get the opportunity to try several flavors from light and bright vegetables to hearty patés, leaving a nice spectrum for a fully holistic meal. Pair with some great regional white wines and sit on the patio if the weather allows, and you're in for a treat. This is a grown up restaurant in an area of town that's itself meant for a more mature Berliner. If you've been to Noe Valley in San Francisco or Park Slope in New York City, that's the vibe you'll get in this neighborhood.

Yelp
One of the rare few places for fine casual cuisine around Helmholzplatz. Small elegant plates of dreamy deliciousness with changing seasonal menu every two weeks. The chef is inspired, experimenting and on his way up. Enjoy
