This style of eating is right up my alley: lots of small, shareable plates packed with flavor for a robust and wide ranging gustatory journey.
I love a huge bowl of noodles as much as the next person, but where my heart truly lies are several tastes of small bites. A smattering of appetizers, side dishes, tapas, you name it--I like variety. And here at Bricole, that's what they specialize in.
You can order a la carte items, or try one of their four prix-fixe options with a pre-selected number of small plates. You get the opportunity to try several flavors from light and bright vegetables to hearty patés, leaving a nice spectrum for a fully holistic meal.
Pair with some great regional white wines and sit on the patio if the weather allows, and you're in for a treat. This is a grown up restaurant in an area of town that's itself meant for a more mature Berliner. If you've been to Noe Valley in San Francisco or Park Slope in New York City, that's the vibe you'll get in this neighborhood.
