Restaurant BUBO

Great restaurant at the exit of the animal park. The food was delicious, the staff extremely friendly and considerate. They gave the kids some papers and crayons to keep busy while waiting for food. It was super quiet when we were there which we appreciated as dining with kids can be a challenge.

Im always so happy to find restaurants were they do it right. Thoughtful, friendly servis. Delish proper food... Like proper chicken strips/schnitzels on kids menu with veggie🙏❤️ really enjoyed all of it! Thank you!

The food was very good - the bolognese was actually one of the best I have had in a long time. Service was good and friendly too. I just wish there would have been the option to order a small pinsa as I had to order a large one for my 3 year old who only ate 2 slices. Nevertheless, we would be happy to return again!

I went today with my family. First of all entering the restaurant doesn’t have a sign that says: wait to be seated . So we found a table and we sat down . One of the waitresses she said something in Swiss German to us and she was so rude and upset . Basically she told us that we cannot sit there. No reserved sign or something on the table but ok . We sat to another table.we waited 20’ and then we just left. No one came to take an order but at the table behind ( that was the table that we sat at the first) , that arrived after us they took an order and guess what they were all Swiss family. My husband and I felt really discriminated and uncomfortable.they were only two waitresses and they had the worst attitude. My husband and I we work in hospitality more than 10 years and we never saw such horrible kind of service . It almost ruined our family day at the tierpark and for that reason , it is the first time that I write a review. The whole situation made us so upset .if I could give 0 star I would

we were seated outside as every table was occupied inside. we had to go in to even get the menu, the waiters were busy serving the tables inside and seating people and taking their orders even though they arrived after us. we waited for half an hour but no one came to take our order so we left.

Es ist November 2024, und somit ändere ich meinen ursprünglichen Review vom Juli 2024: Das BUBO – was organisatorisch zum Tierpark Goldau gehört – ist nicht mehr, was es war. Beim alten Konzept waren wir Stammgäste, als man Freitag- und Samstagabend offen hatte und ein herausragendes 3/4/5-Gang-Menü servierte. So ein Konzept muss sich zuerst herumsprechen, braucht also Zeit. Nicht ein einziges Mal habe ich eine Werbung oder ähnliches gesehen, trotzdem hat man bereits nach einem halben Jahr den Stecker gezogen, obwohl die Bewertungen hier bei Google mit 4.8/5.0 erstklassig waren. Das ist viel zu kurzfristig gedacht und zeigt, dass die Leitung des Tierparks kein Gastronomiekonzept etablieren kann. Neu wird das BUBO ins Konzept vom Tierpark integriert, ohne eigene Homepage und ist täglich nur noch bis 18:00 Uhr geöffnet. Zu aller Schande wird aus der frischen und regionalen Küche ein italienisches Konzept, obwohl es in Sichtweite schon mehrere Restaurants mit gleichem Konzept gibt. Als Stammgäste wurden wir über den Wechsel nicht informiert, das ist ein Armutszeugnis von der Tierpark-Geschäftsleitung. Es ist zum Heulen, weshalb ich meine ursprüngliche Bewertung von 5/5 auf 1/5 abändere. Das neue BUBO darf sich nicht mit alten/fremden Federn schmücken. Die Bilder lasse ich stehen, damit jeder sieht, was er verpasst. Alles Gute an und für das alte Team! Ich hoffe, ihr kommt woanders unter und verfolgt dort das ehemalige Gastronomieerlebnis. Wir haben zum Menü April (monatlicher Menüwechsel) im sehr zentral gelegenen BUBO in Arth-Goldau zu Abend gegessen. Wir wurden von einer einladenden Atmosphäre positiv überrascht und von einem sehr herzlichen Service-Team bedient. Unser 6-Gänge-Menu (Käse & Dessert) wurde nach Empfehlung des Restaurantleiters begleitet mit auserlesenen und regionalen Weinen, auch der Spirituosenwagen am Schluss hat überzeugt. Die einzelnen Gänge mit sehr saisonalen und regionalen Produkten, aussergewöhnlichen Saucen, perfekten Garstufen sowie abwechslungsreichen Geschmäckern waren beeindruckend. Insgesamt war das Essen optisch und geschmacklich weit im Fine-Dining Bereich, doch war die Art zu Essen sehr nahbar und persönlich, wobei die offene Küche und der aufmerksame Service viel ausgemacht hat. Das BUBO ist einen Besuch wert und wir bedanken uns herzlich beim gesamten Team für dieses wundervolle Abendessen Und freuen uns auf’s nächste mal!
