I took the trouble to send a polite enquiry — never acknowledged, never answered. Only once I left a public note did a brief reply appear, asking what I meant. Well, that’s the point, isn’t it? A serious restaurant doesn’t ignore correspondence in the first place. A reply after the fact, however civil in tone, does not undo the original silence. As a guest from Ukraine, where courtesy still matters, I had hoped for a little more professionalism from an establishment trading under the European banner. Two stars — for effort, but only after being called out.
