Restaurant Clairefontaine

I celebrated my birthday at Clairefontaine, and it was a true gastronomic celebration! Every dish was divinely delicious, thoughtfully crafted, and presented with exquisite aesthetics. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a harmony of taste, beauty, and comfort. My heartfelt thanks to the staff for their professionalism, care, and attention to detail, which made this evening truly special. The birthday compliment from the restaurant was a delightful surprise and added even more warmth to the occasion. Clairefontaine is a place I would love to return to again and again. Bravo to the whole team!

It's hard to find good restaurants open on Mondays, but this is one of the few. Their seasonal menu always offers plenty of options. They even serve my favorite sparkling water - I believe they're the only restaurant in Luxembourg that carries this particular brand. Their wine-by-the-glass selection is particularly impressive, with excellent choices of white, red, and even dessert wines. If you're dining alone and don't want to commit to a full bottle, this is the perfect spot. After all, very few restaurants offer premium wines by the glass at this quality level.

Best service level. This placed really deserves for their reputation. Tasty dishes, great service, I felt treated with respect and all of my questions were answered. Recommend 10/10

If you pay a restaurant a visit on a Monday evening and it is full of customers, that stands for quality. Here it is excellence in service, wine and food, the latter for the eye and for the belly. We had a perfect - starry - experience and it is shameful that this outstanding gourmet temple was downgraded by the red guide. It is still an amazing and innovative kitchen.

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the exceptional service. The staff was so attentive and genuine. As vegetarian, I was especially impressed with how they went above and beyond to prepare delicious, customized dishes. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it was clear that they truly care about the quality of the food they serve. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed yet exciting dining experience. We had so much fun, and it was an unforgettable experience overall.

Gem 💎 in Luxembourg 🇱🇺, an experience of ultra culinary dining with perfect ambiance and cosy atmosphere. The staff serves at a high level of perfection. The food is an artistic creation of a master chef 👨‍🍳. The listing at the Michelin should be rewarded with stars. Wine pairing complimented the culinary dishes. Ensure the reservation when you stay overnight.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Clairefontaine in downtown Luxembourg city. The staff was so welcoming and funny, we felt at home from start to finish. Food was generally good but at this price tag I can only give four stars as there were some hits and misses.

Honestly, frankly and in all transparency, there would be so much to praise about this marvelous restaurant that it would need at least 25000 words. As I do not have the required time and necessary talent, I would just recommend to give it a try. I can’t possibly imagine how anyone even the most picky person could be disappointed. All is perfect.
