Restaurant Cook'in

Visited for dinner on 05 Nov 2025 and really enjoyed our evening here. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere but the food is obviously taken very seriously by the chefs. Absolutely delicious with every dish featuring multiple distinct flavours. We were just passing through the town, but will certainly come back another time.

Absolutely delicious. Causual vibe but the food is incredible and freshly prepared. Our server helped us modify dishes to accommodate our vegetarian diet.

Nice hosting ladies, good wine and nice atmosphere. The dishes looks good, unfortunately the taste did not satisfy us. The steak tartare to sour, unbalanced. The fish wit tamarinde lost its tamarinde between the kitchen and my plate, the curry porc was missing curry and coconut the vegetables are cut the french way and prepared in a wok, but they were not cooked enough.

'Restaurant Cook In' deserves all the accolades and more! This is such a beautiful place to eat, the food is local and fresh, and the combinations......are absolutely out of this world!! Factor in they change the lunch menu every day, and you have owners and a team that are passionate and enjoy what they do! I would post a pic of the entrees (Spring Rolls) however, we ate them as they were amazing.

Excellent French style Thai

A Franco-Thai fusion restaurant that mostly succeeds with its offerings! I'd give 4.5 stars for the fact that they were able to accommodate vegetarian dishes for my wife despite it not being mentioned on the menu.

This restaurant is a gem. The cuisine is an inspirational fusion of Thai and French flavours using seasonal ingredients - incomparable freshness on the palate. The couple who created and run this establishment are the perfect hosts.

Really enjoyed our visit here. Had booked ahead via email and was very busy on a Saturday night. My partner was very happy with the steak tartare starter and a pork fusion main, saying they were incredibly fresh, zingy and tasty. There's no vegetarian option on the menu but when booking ahead they'd confirmed they could cater. I was offered a Thai salad, which was a huge bowl of salad with some glass noodles with a nice dressing, and vegetable Penang curry. All very tasty. We were too full to try the excellent looking desserts. Friendly service and good wines by the glass and local beers.

Ok, so, the service was pretty good, so that made me give it three stars. But when I got my food, the vegetables were fully RAW. Not good, and the curry was flavoured water. The flavour was pretty good, it tasted like curry, but the consistency was way off. For an appetiser, we got some spring rolls, and they were the best part of the meal, and weren't even on the menu. They tasted really good, and were crunchy. The ambiance was pretty cozy and clean, nothin special or nothing great about it. But the artwork on one of the walls were amazing, loved em. People really overhyped this place, it's not bad but it's not good. Nothing special in general. Just "meh". Tbh I probably wouldn't come here again. At least the chairs were comfy tho.

I dined here on a Thursday evening after driving through Champagne and exploring Epernay. The food is described as Thai French fusion. After eating here I would describe it as delicious! I was with a party of 8, and was sat without a reservation (although I've read it's best to have reservations at restaurants in France if you are able to plan ahead). My husband and I both had the Chef's Voyage which is an appetizer, salad, soup, main plate and a wok item all of the chef's choosing. The dishes were served to share between two people. The first dish in the Voyage was an appetizer of small egg rolls, won tons and beef skewers. All were bite size and full of flavor. We were then served a salad and soup. The salad was amazing and interesting. It had pork, mint, and some type of seed similar to sesame but the group wasn't convinced that's what it was. It added a nice crunch to the salad. The soup was a pretty standard fish soup with a light flaky fish and a fish sauce taste. Next we had a chicken curry with a yellow curry sauce. Last, we were served a beef Wok with thinly sliced vegetables. For dessert I selected the assortment of cheeses (when in France!). The service was nice (but I've adjusted my expectations based on the culture difference. For example I believe you are to ask for your check when you are ready to leave, as they don't want to make you feel as though they want you to leave). I'd highly recommend Cook In if you are looking for a change from the standard French cuisine!

Eclectic French- Thai restaurant. Small menu. Had the wok shrimp and the beef dish. Both were excellent. The beef is like a mini roast, cooked medium rare. Flavorful and tender. Side was rice and a nicely crispy vegetable medley stir fry. Sauce was a red curry that was great and not too spicy.
